I am giving this review 3-stars. Usually the crew here is fast and fantastic. Sunday's seem to be their only downfall. Take-out orders are especially bad. Wait times can exceed 20-minutes after due time. There is a lack of proper leadership on Sundays. On days like this it appears the customers they can see far exceed the needs of the customers that they can not. It is not good. Please fix this. Thank you in advance. :) read more

As much as I love coming here often. Creating my own pizza is the best! But, one redhead lady who works here isn't welcoming. She's sloppy and ripped my friend's pizza crust before adding sauce to it. Also, I spoke clearly on separate orders and that I wanted classic red sauce. DELICIOUS! I had sauce, mozzarella, basil, spinach, Parmesan, with oil and balsamic glaze! BEST pizza I ever had and I'm a tough critic on food! Aniellos in Corning has been my favorite pizza for years but man, I could have ate a whole pie to myself! This was my first time trying a Blaze pizza but it certainly won't be my last time! The pizza crust is crisp, light and so easy to bite. It doesn't droop and keeps its shape irregardless of the amount of ingredients atop. I chose the "high top" crust which is a very little bit thicker than the usual crust. I asked for extra pepperoni, sauce, Italian sausage, mushrooms, onions and roasted garlic. Oh, I also added fresh basil to top it off. It truly was a masterpiece! After a few minutes my name was called and my perfect pizza awaited me. Not only did it look wonderful but it tasted delicious. I certainly will be returning to Blaze pizza parlor. Oh, I don't want to forget about mentioning the employees. They were courteous, friendly, attentive, and very energetic. Excellent high end thin crust pizza for a price you'd expect for a fast casual place. I wasn't very crazy about the atmosphere there - kind of a stark vibe with some standoffish employees ("Are you going to be eating here?" said with a condescending tone) - but the food is definitely worth getting takeout if you ever get tired of the $3.00 flatbreads from Wegmans and ALDIs. read more

Heard about this place from my hairdresser and was excited to try it out. I'm glad I did. Not only do they have the usual makings of a pizza for you to choose from, but they also have fun unusual toppings as well. I chose pesto sauce, gorgonzola cheese, garlic and basil. I also noticed they have gluten free and vegan options for those who prefer that. The service was quick and the staff was friendly. Not only is the pizza delicious but so is the dessert. I ordered a smores pie after dinner and they warmed it up for me so it was all melty *so freaking good*. 10/10 recommend, will definitely be going back. read more

I have been to this location several times, but after the experience my brother and I had at our last visit I will not be going back again. We ordered online separately and were given an estimated pick up time of 15-20 minutes. We got there and our pizzas were not ready. In fact, they said they had no record of my order. My brother finally got his pizza after about 15 minutes, but after 45 minutes I still didn't have mine. I asked several times on the status, and was told that it would be coming out shortly, but that wasn't true. In fact, it still wasn't even waiting to go in the oven after 40 minutes, so I said I couldn't wait any longer and asked for a refund. The cashier said the only one who could that was the manager, and she was busy, so I had to leave without the refund. I did get the refund, along with two free coupons on my rewards app the next day when I called and talked to the district manager, but my brother was told when he called that the coupons would be mailed to him. He has never received the coupons, even though he called twice and was told each time that they had been mailed. read more

ordered a pizza for 5:45, first delivery driver claimed I gave her the wrong address when she put it in her GPS wrong, then she disappeared and we had to get a second driver who went to tell them we needed our pizza, and then finally a third driver delivered it to us--but we only got 3 of the 5 items we ordered and our pizzas didn't even have their finishers on them. Another good addition to getting a better quality pizza than other chain stores will offer, and at a much quicker time. Being able to see everything in front of you makes it much easier to decide what you might want to try out. The ingredients were all pretty good, everything seemed pretty fresh. Plenty of seating in this location. It was difficult to hear some of the employees though. Initially I was greeted with someone (probably a magner) that was well spoken and easy to understand, but the other two employees were kind of hard to hear while ordering. Overall the pizza was cost effective for building your own when you can add as many ingredients as you'd like. They're very similar to piecraft pizza around the corner. read more

Never got a chance to try the food- walked in yesterday afternoon about 2:30 and 5 -6 employees were standing around talking to each other. Too long before anyone approached me with the female finally asking what I wanted. How about Welcome to Blaze? Good afternoon what can I do for you? Nada. Next male walks up talking to her and out of the side of his mouth saying "all pizzas are the same size" female laughs and says she wants a salad. Oh he says. Visited in the evening of December 5th. Interior is cold (temperature) and the floor is cold as well (all concrete). Not cozy. Some of the staff was friendly. Menu options were good and salads looked fresh. The pizza is a thin style and I just don't get why the crust isn't crispy. None of the pizzas were ordered were. Over $40 for three pizzas, 4 knots and two drinks. No reason to return. read more

This is a great place for vegan pizza. They have so many great veggie toppings including vegan chorizo and vegan cheese. The even cut the pizza with a special cutter (green for vegan). Stopped by tonight to support Nuts for Mutts, as 20% of the proceeds were being donated to the local dog rescue. It was the first time I had been. Normally, I would be overwhelmed by all of the choices, but I looked online ahead of time and knew what I wanted to order. I did a "make your own" pizza and ordered it with a garlic pesto base with spinach, garlic, broccoli (the seasonal vegetable), pineapple and mozzarella cheese. It was delicious and the perfect size. I also ordered a chocolate chip cookie, which was also very good. The staff was very helpful and kind. One suggestion would be to offer a whole wheat or whole grain crust. read more

I was disappointed in Blaze Pizza. We got a gluten free pizza and caesar salads. The salad was marginal, and the pizza was uneatable. When you picked up a slice, it flopped and all the toppings fell off. There was too much cheese and it was grease pit. I felt like I had to take a bath after. So a brand new Blaze Pizzeria opened in Henrietta recently so I decided to give it a try. First, a bit about how they make the pizza. They place some very soft dough onto a platten of a large red press (sort of like a tortilla maker) and squeeze it into shape, including the raised edge. The dough is then placed on a peel. When you order the type of pizza you want , the counter person grabs a the peel and starts building your pizza. As the counter person moves along the counter you can have other toppings added. You pay at the end as your pizza is placed in the oven. I ordered the "Meat Eater" which apparently takes a couple of minutes longer than a simpler pizza, I say this because the person behind me got his pizza first. Once in the oven it takes about 5 minutes before it's ready, at least mine did. The oven is gas fired not wood fired. Unlike other wood-fired or conventional pizza, this is a fast food pizza. People's taste in pizza varies greatly, why else would Papa John's still be in business. The Blaze Pizza crust is quite thin (I like thin crust) it's also very soft (I prefer mine a bit crispier and chewier). Let's face it, the crust can make or break a pizza; the only other unique component would be the sauce. As I mentioned, the crust was a bit too soft for my liking and the sauce could use a bit more oregano and basil. The toppings were quite plentiful and very fresh; overall the pizza was decent enough for me to order again. Maybe next time I'll ask them to keep t in the oven a bit longer. The restaurant was very neat with quite a bit of seating and because of the remarkably quick service would be very suitable for a quick lunch. So if you're tired of the standard burger & flies I suggest you give this place a try. Oh by the way, they only have one size pizza which is around 10 inches in diameter. My review is based on my experience with other pizzerias in the Rochester area. While there are a lot of things to like about Blaze, ultimately it's all about the taste. read more

Do not eat at BLAZE PiZZa those workers do not wash there hands smh there's so much cross examination in that place I've seen them drop spoons that they use for sauce there toppings are all over the place and it's filthy back there half there toppings are expired and they barely know the ingredients they cook someone needs to call the health department on that place it's definitely not worth 10 dollars looks can definitely be deceiving they make all blaze pizzas look bad stick to pi craft it's a lot cleaner!!! read more

This is a great place to go when vegans and non-vegans want pizza. I had no idea how hard it was to get vegan pizza in Rochester until I began asking local pizza places if they put cheese in their marinara. The answer? Many, if not most, of them do. So I couldn't even order a pizza without cheese in most places although a couple offered to put barbeque sauce on instead. (No, just no.) So I was really happy to find places like Blaze. We had lunch there last week. I had a vegan pizza with mushrooms, olives, red peppers and vegan cheese. Both of my lunch companions had meat and cheese options. And we all left happy. I loved the thin crust pizza. It was crisp and perfectly cooked. Next time I'll try the thicker crust because that looked good also. I chose to build my own pizza so I could have added any vegetables they had on offer. All of the toppings were fresh and staff even asked if I wanted them to change gloves to make a vegan pizza. So, the food is good, the staff is friendly and helpful and if you choose to eat there the dining area is comfortable. read more

Nothing special about this pizza place as the concepts been out for many years. One size only pizza, which is about a medium thin crust in size. A single pizza can feed two or one hungry dude. They have toppings and finishing type dressings that can be added post cooking. The alure to these places is the speed at which they make the pizza, which only takes a few minutes and may be less calories than traditional thicker pizza. Not a fan of the louder than needed music or concrete flooring. Honestly, you could make this pizza at home. If you take a family of 5 here, buy individual pizzas and drinks, you will be looking at spending close to $50. We split the pizzas and got water and it was $13.
