At $2.50 each for the original plain ones, they're a LOT cheaper than most other hot pretzels. And they're SOOO good! I bought 4 so I could take them home and freeze them.

Their menu offers: the Regular (salt & butter), Cinnamon Sugar, Garlic & Herb, and Sour Cream & Onion. On our recent visit, they added Parmesan and a Hot Dog Pretzel. They also have dips (homemade cheese sauce, homestyle sweet mustard, and cream cheese (have to specially ask for this)), and beverages (Fresh Squeezed Lemonade, Southern Brewed Sweet Iced Tea, bottled water, and sodas). This time, we ordered: +The Regular +the Cinnamon Sugar +Garlic & Herb +Homemade Cheese Sauce +Cream Cheese Frosting Note that the sauces are good for almost 1 of the pretzels; the pretzels are larger than normal, so you may need about 2 sauces per pretzel, if you're a scooper. There was a huge line, so we thought we would receive hot pretzels; unfortunately, they were just all room temperature and seemed to have been prepped ahead of time. Note that this is a popular stopping point for tour buses, so you may be standing and waiting in line for about 40+ minutes. Staff is friendly. This place is cash only, and there is no ATM on-site (in or outside of the Bakeshop) - there is a local bank a little less than two miles down the road, though. Plenty of parking for both tour buses, trucks, and smaller vehicles. There are also covered seats as well as a cute animal farm of goats and fluffy chickens to feed. +lukewarm pretzels +cash only! +located in the lot of Bird-in-Hand Bakeshop +plenty of parking

It's not a large place but there's adequate seating. It's pretty clean as well. I waited and made some small talk with the employees. They were kind enough to throw in some free fries for the longer wait. I have to apologize for not having any photos because I didn't have a chance to take any. We DEVOURED this meal. We've had Dave's hot chicken and others and Blazin J's just blows em all out of the water. I got the mild tenders and they were indeed mild but with so much flavor. You do get the smallest hint of something spicy but it just adds to the allure. The chicken was juicy even after reheating in the air fryer. The fries are the best I've ever had. Hands down. I cannot recommend them enough. The sandwich looked and smelled amazing. We got the Hot flavor and I was told it was perfect. From someone that eats Nashville hot chicken sandwiches quite often, he seemed incredibly impressed and said that we WILL return for another round. All in all, service was friendly with a warm smile. The food is something the Gods would eat and I truly must insist you give this place a go. It's very demure, very tasteful and the best in the area!

Me being the procrastinator that I am, I didn't leave work early enough, so I had to rush to get to…read morework on time. This means I didn't pack a lunch and I had to find something fast. My uncle used to be a resident in the Lancaster area, so I went to a place called Prince of Subs, which is known for their chicken wings and, of course, their subs--that's why it's in their name! When I arrived at Prince of Subs it was 11:30 PM at night and I asked for an order of 6 wings, but the guy said, "Let me check." I was surprised because it's a bar and they close at 1:30 in the morning, and of course, greasy food is the best thing to eat when you're drinking. Well, luckily they had six wings left. I asked for some fries and he said they ran out of fries. Me personally, I love some wings and fries. Can't forget about fish and chips, but that's more of a Dublin thing! I don't understand how a chicken spot bar that closes at 1:30 AM doesn't have fries ready, but that's just a story for another day. Because of that, I had to go to a second spot on my way to work. It was a food truck on the side of the road. It had lights so you could still see it, but it was kind of hidden. Come to find out, it's a hidden gem! I got some Dominican loaded fries which had shredded chicken, a bunch of different sauces, some peppers, and of course, fries. I was glad that I made this stop, but I pulled out my cash and I only had a $100 bill on me because it was Friday, it was payday, and I had cashed my check. The guy didn't have change, and so all I had was nine dollars in my pocket besides that one bill. I told him I would come back tomorrow evening. He had a surprised look on his face, but I said, "I work right down the road and I promise you I'll be back before I start work." He trusted me. I gave him my nine dollars and he said okay and gave me my food. As I walked away, it gave me a little bit more faith in humanity. It's amazing how someone that never even knew me, and never saw me before, actually trusted me to come back and give them cash to pay for my food. I did go there the next day and it was a warm welcome, of course. I paid him what I owed him with a little bit extra, only because he had faith in me coming back. I highly recommend this place! Being a truck driver, you always find good food spots along the road, and sometimes you find out if the food is really good or bad while you're going down the road, if you catch my drift. This place is very good; the food settled very well and I definitely give it a hard 4.5 out of 5, only because you cannot see the truck from the road. I hope my review helps you make your decision onto whether you want to eat at this location or not. I hope a college student sees this review as well, because it is right around the corner from Thaddeus Stevens! Branden-Lee AKA B L E E

The Dominican burger, as it's called, was just enough to whet my appetite ( no sides needed ), and I wouldn't ask the chef to change a thing. The ratio of bread to meat to sauce was properly balanced. I appreciate that he used thinly shredded red onions and lettuce in the sauce. Muy muy bueno! I have to admit that I was bugging out a little when I realized that the food truck is diagonal to the Lancaster County prison. I wasn't aware of that beforehand because I wasn't familiar with the area, and I didn't think about making a preorder for pickup. I was just trying to find some highly rated ethnic food on Yelp and just happened to stumble upon this listing. I was out there waiting for my food at 11pm for like 20 minutes. I wasn't scared or threatened... it was just a tad weird. the whole time I sat out in the park across the street from the cart I kept looking over my shoulder. The neighborhood Papi's were out there in full effect getting their late night grub. I also wished that the prices were listed on the menu. Someone posted a picture of the menu 4 years ago and chimis costed $5 each back then, but I paid $10 per Chimi. That's a helluva markup over a short span of time. On the bright side they do take cards unlike some other food trucks.

Definitely lemony, custardy egg thick and rice; this is something I'll need to compare with another, avgolemono. Perhaps the addition of a bit more chicken stock (to thin it out) and some larger pieces of chicken, would have evened out the flavors. Back to Lancaster's Greek restaurants, to include "gyros;" they're hella good, but expensive, elsewhere within Lancaster. I know; I've heard it all before: we make our pita and dips from scratch, our feta is flown in from Greece, fries are hand cut (yeah yeah, yadda yadda) and you leave, wondering why your bill for two gyros, was near to $70. This was not the case with Souvlaki Boys and they're gyros are just as good, tender, savory meat, soft pita, stuffed with your choice of homemade tzatki sauces, feta, loaded with fresh, crunchy salad veggies and yes, hand cut fries - all within this gal's budget.

Luckily, there's a private parking lot behind the store that you can park or you can street park. I think there is garage parking a short walking distance away. It's a quaint corner restaurant with indoor seating. You can dine in or take out. There's a bench to use if you're waiting for take out and there's probably enough seating for about 20 guests. Food is made to order. Expect to wait. The staff tells you ahead of time that it may take 15-20 minutes to prepare. I'm perfectly Ok with waiting for a freshly made order. The staff was super friendly and patient as I wasn't sure what I wanted to order. I opted for the classic gyro but without fries inside the pita. When we got our food, the gyro did have fries. The girl who brought our food offered to have a new one made without fries but we kept the gyro as is. The fries on the gyro didn't overtake the sandwich so it was actually pretty good. Ordered a side of fries also. Seasoned perfectly and not too oily/greasy. We never had baklava before. That dessert was very delicious. It was warmed and dusted with cinnamon as suggested by staff. It did not disappoint. Very pleased with this lunch spot. Worth the wait. Will try again. Thanks for a great experience.
