I didn't start becoming a Blazing Bagels regular until the pandemic. A patient at work brought us a bunch of bagels and I was reminded how much better fresh, flavorful bagels are than store bought bagels. They're definitely a lot more expensive than grocery store bagels, but totally worth it as a special weekend treat (~$20+ with cream cheese depending on what kind of bagels). I always get an assorted bakers dozen plus a cream cheese for my whole family. I love the chive cream cheese. It's so whipped and fluffy and it always tastes so fresh. Some of my favorite bagels are the bacon/cheddar/chive, Asiago, and everything bagels. They have such a great selection with many unique flavors such as French toast, snickerdoodle, and much more. Any of their bagels toasted with the house-made cream cheese would be good. They're crispy, soft, and tasty. I crave these bagels for breakfast more than any other brunch restaurant in the area. read more

Truly delicious lunches! They have a wide selection of different bagels to choose from. Their sandwiches we very tasty and they have some sweet desserts. All three of us tried the chicken chipotle sandwich; the chipotle cream cheese was a bit spicy for me but still good. They have a nice seeing area outside which seemed pet friendly too! Found this place randomly looking for a breakfast joint in Redmond. Tucked away in a tiny business park, this place sells some pretty tasty bagels. So far, I've had the everything, french toast, and plain bagel, all which were, I like to call, meaty. The bagels were dense and chewy, but not rubbery like store bought bagels. Accompanied with the right schmear, or spread, these bagels are quite the delight. The two things that were a bit off-putting were the price and the people at the register. Paying eight dollars for two bagels with cream cheese is way too much, in my opinion. And both times I sat in there, I had to listen to the workers talk about topics that were inappropriate for customers to hear, such as customer bashing. I get having a tough day, and even needing to vent, but I hope they understand that sound travels in that place and I could hear every comment they had about their least favorite people. Definitely go again for the bagels, but I'll get 'em to go and toast 'em myself since it seems it's only a $1.50 if you buy them and cheese 'em yourself. read more

If you're looking for fantastic bagels, I don't know how you do better than Blazing Bagels. High quality, super fresh, excellent taste, with a diverse set of bagel options. You want a Pizza bagel, a pumpernickel bagel, or just a plain bagel, these guys have it. I love how the fresh bagels are just there on the rack and you bag 'em yourself. I don't think there's a place in town to get this fresh of bagel. They do serve prepared sandwiches. I had the Lox sandwich, open face, and shared it--excellent. I haven't had the coffee yet but I think they serve Cafe Vita. If I lived closer, I would be a complete regular. As it is I grab a dozen and take them home--nosh for a week! Highly recommend a visit. Sunday morning and very understaffed on a busy day. Extremely long and slow service and you have to waste a quarter of an hour of your morning just to get served to order. You also have to go through a complicated phone system, listening to unnecessary messages and typing in 3 digit extension before you can ever reach a human. The best bagels East or West of New York is bogus. They may be some of the best bagels in this region were great bagels don't exist, but there are countless bagel shops across the country that put these to shame. I'd like to see a lot less celebration of how great they are, and a heck of a lot more customer service and operational excellence. read more

Tried to get some bagels on my way home. Order went well but I noticed upon leaving the bottom of my bag was wet. The person who served me must have put them down on a wet spot on the counter. They didn't have the same choices available, so I was only going to get half a dozen. Here's the issue, nobody knew how to refund me and 3 of them fumbled around, then one of them got a Mgr who was sitting in her car in the parking lot. By this time, and after 5 mins I was done with the fiasco. Upon leaving she said she could do the refund since there is a code She explained she had clocked out and that the other workers didn't have the code. I was late for something and had to leave, but I explained to her that she was setting up the business since she apparently hasn't trained anyone to be fully competent in all customer service aspects. I called and told them I'd be by tomorrow to get my refund and depending upon how that interchange goes my score may be revised but right now this reflects the cluster that just happened. Next day - Again worker I talked with had no idea, wanted to charge me again. Mgr gave me the refund and resolved everything, but again workers should have greater knowledge for better customer support / experience. My rating is staying the same. Not to mention their prices are a bit high for a breakfast sandwich, but ive been here before and thats not the issue. The issue was i ordered a toasted breakfast sandwich added avocado, what i got was a cold sandwich and no avocado, no big deal I'll ask them to remake it. Instead i got attitude from the staff asking me "it wasnt toasted" whether you did or not you still forgot the avocado which is a $1.50 charge in itself.. The gal making my new sandwich glared at me the entire time as if disgusted that i would bring up an issue at all, i wish i had just gotten a refund but they already started remaking my sandwich. I would like to think its just an off day, we all have them, but when multiple people have left reviews on similar issues, its not just me. I like the fact they are open 7AM on a Sunday. I like the open air bays. But frankly Einstein Bros. bagels are much better as much as I hate chains. Somebody's review mentioned grocery store bagels. That pretty much summed it up. Baker dozen, two toppings salmon and berry. ~$27+. Ok the berry is simply amazing tasting. The sandwiches looked expensive, but I have to get used to everything in the $13 range. The place seemed clean enough and we didn't see kids pawing or sneezing on the bagels. Service was excellent. When our checker had a short line, another popped out. And promptly helped us. I am going to try them again. When we power through these 13 bagels - ok we bought a variety, yikes I froze 6 of them. First, I love your bagels, I love that I can continue to enjoy your bagels, as you offer gluten free, I also appreciate and am glad you were super busy today when I visited, that being said a 40 minute wait for two bagels is slightly ridiculous. I may not have written this, however when I returned to my car to find both bagel orders were incorrect, there is definitely a problem. (I had asked for no capers on one and a garlic bagel on the other - there were capers and it was an onion bagel). I can also appreciate that you have had to make modifications due to COVID guidelines, but you need to rethink your set up, as I watched MANY people wait more than a reasonable amount of time, missing items from their orders, and the constant mispronunciation of names. Totally turned off here; 100% unacceptable. The bagels are mishandled by employees who run around "working" under the influence. My fiance who works for the Health Department, decided to buy some bagels this morning, all the while an employee was sweeping in front of the bagels and contaminating them with dirt and dust I just stood there and looked at him twirling his broom while he continued contaminating these bagels. This is DISGUSTING! The bagels are already contaminated before you take them home! I even saw debris fall onto one of the bagels. Overall I just wasn't too amazed by this place for a couple reasons. YES, the bagels are yummy but I think I paid around $30 for three bagels with spread (two with smoked salmon) which in my opinion is a pretty steep price to pay for what your getting. They used to be very generous with the spread and smoked salmon too and what we got was not at all what we were used to. We asked for the bagels to be toasted as well and it was underdone. They also messed up our order as I think they recently got a new system or so I was told so the ordering process and receiving our order was kind of chaotic. I don't think I'll be returning just because of the high price and spotty service. read more

Bagels have been a healthy part of my diet most of my life. Most of the bagels i've had were easily forgotten.... until a friend told me about Blazing Bagels. The bagels from this place are something you will always remember, guaranteed. And like most well kept secrets, unless you know where this place is, you'd probably never just "stumble" upon it. The staff is always a pleasure to chat with, and their food speaks for itself. The ambiance of the place has its own style, functional, and open. There is some inside seating, and some outside seating. Is it kid friendly? Absolutely. Is it dog friendly? Although you can't take your dog inside, they do offer free doggy bagels! (my little Frenchie loves them!) As for their "human" offerings, I can't say i've ever had anything bad from this place. Their bagel dogs are legit, juicy and full of flavor. Their NY deli sandwiches are deserving of their mantra, tried the Emma Einstein (Reuben) and let me assure you, they piled the meat high and didn't leave me wanting or complaining. (I LOVE reubens, and I know good reubens.) Their bagel selection is one of my favorite things about this place. Amazing flavor combinations, and flavors you'd never expect to find in a bagel. My favorite bagel from this place is their "Chevy" bagel: an everything bagel with cheddar cheese. This bagel is so tasty, it doesn't need any cream cheese!!!! (that's a hard thing to do with a bagel in my humble opinion). Some of my other favorites from blazing bagels include their pizza bagel YUM!, pesto, sundried tomato, french toast, rosemary, asiago, bacon/cheddar/chive, pizza bagel with pepperoni.... urgh, so many tasty choices!!!! If that wasn't enough awesome, they also have amazing flavored cream cheeses, day old bagel bags that are a great deal, bagel chips, delicious baked confections (which they usually have samples of at the register, try something!!!!), and they have the deli section for meats and salads for you to take home. So after being a loyal patron for MANY years, I can't stand how much this place has gone downhill. The last 4 visits were bad, orders are wrong, the product isn't as good anymore. The last straw was recently when my wife and I both decided to try the bagel dogs because the bagels kept getting messed up. The actual beef dog was tasty, but thats as far as it goes. Mine was apparently microwaved far too long and the bagel dough was literally rock hard. I couldn't even make a dent in it. For the price and hassle, its unacceptable.
