We got the asian chicken salad, Vegan Banh Mi and a side of their Spicy Curried Couscous. Service was incredibly friendly and when ordering, they explained the menu very well. Mendo is my go to for work meals and now that one is closer to home, I can lunch and not have the forever drive in between! I had an issue with my free entree loading for switching my favorite location and Emma helped me right away, checking in while we were in line. We showed up around 1pm the second day they were open and with ~15 staff staying busy, the line moved quickly and we still found a spot on the spacious patio and our orders came out exactly as we'd asked for--perfect experience for a new biz! People were quick to flip and move tables so prime outdoor seating was clean and available. Our sandwiches were at least as good while the chicken parm dip was even better than we've had at other locations. The ginger cookie and lemonade were also consistent...the variety and flavor combinations in one place for fresh food has yet to be matched for me. I visited Mendocino Farms for lunch with a friend today, and I love their new location right across from Redmond Town Center. It also doesn't hurt that it's directly across from Salt & Straw. When I asked my friend if she wanted lunch or ice cream, she said "both," and I knew exactly where to go. When we walked into the spacious, light filled dining room, we were greeted by a friendly staff member who explained the menu and offered great recommendations. He convinced both of us to try the Thai Mango Noodle Salad. My friend ordered hers with chicken and all the toppings, while I skipped the honey-roasted almonds and chicken. Even without them, the salad was incredibly delicious--so many flavors and textures from the mint, basil, mango, and the crunchy French fried onions. It was sweet, savory, and absolutely hit the spot! Parking was easy; we found a spot at Redmond Town Center and walked across the street. If it hadn't been raining, I would've done some Christmas shopping after lunch. I couldn't stay long, but I was definitely tempted. Of course, we had to stop by Salt & Straw afterward for ice cream. They carry one of my favorites--the vegan hazelnut cookies and cream--and it was the perfect finish to our lunch outing. read more

From my experience, ordering vegetarian is scary experience since the flavor heavily rely on freshness of veggies and test of dressing. Today I can't say no to the bright beet color in the "Happy Hippie sandwich" and the weirdness idea of "watermelon poke" salad. so I decided to try them. The hippie sandwich was the best vegetarian sandwiches my husband and I have ever eaten. Rich in flavor, crispy fresh vegetables, good combination of different textures in one bite. We had two different sandwiches and couscous salad, seriously, the salad was fantastic. The bread to meat ratio was pretty low for the cost of the sandwich. I expected a lot more chicken, only had a couple of small pieces on there. My hubbies steak sandwich looked a lot better, so maybe it's whatever you order or who is prepping your sandwich? Great place for super fresh salads and sandwiches. The food is truly delicious. I love that they opened up a convenient location here in Redmond. We had already tried the one in Kirkland. The big downside is that it is super popular and takes quite a bit of time to get through the line and get your food. I have only been here on the weekend though. It is probably better during the weekday. This will be a staple for us in the coming years because it is exactly the type of food we like to eat. read more

I am probably late to the Mendocino game , but I am glad I gave it a try, and I think I would definitely return. I'm not in Redmond often, but this location looks brand new and clean. All the staff are nice and attentive. A staff member stood by the front door and made some introductions about their food to us, and the cashier even answered further questions. I ended up getting the Thai mango salad and my husband got their bacon and stake sandwich. He loved his sandwich and I think my salad was really good and fresh as well. I opted for another non spicy dressing first, but also wanting to try the original dressing pairing with the mango salad. They were kind enough to let me try both. And I think the original pairing indeed works better and it's not very spicy at all. I would say the spice level is a 1.5 star in a Thai restaurant. All in all a positive experience! When I first started going to this restaurant, it was really good. I usually get a salad; the first one I got was so fresh and loaded with all the things; it wasn't just a pile of lettuce with a few other ingredients in it. But the last few times I've ordered from here the salad has been just filled with what seems to be old, wilted bagged greens and a few of the other ingredients that I've had to dig for that are at the bottom of the bowl (I should add that I get them from Door Dash). Last night I thought I'd try one more time and ordered a salad that I paid extra to have chicken added to it. The greens were so old and wilted (some of the leaves were slimy) and there was no chicken. Wow! What an amazing new place in downtown Redmond. They have an amazing and well trained staff, a diverse menu and everything tasted amazing. We had the ceasar salad (they replace croutons with toasted quinoa, what an amazing idea to add the crunch yet remain healthy), chicken pesto, banh mi (vegetarian) and the Peruvian beef. Everything from the quality of the bread, meats, veggies, dressing and cheese was top notch. My highlight was the pomegranate lemonade with a generous hint of mint. Four of us went in for lunch at 12:30 on a sunny Sunday afternoon. We placed our orders at the counter and seated ourselves at the only available four top. Half an hour later a server came by and apologized for the wait. She offered to comp us with a side to share while we waited. We accepted the offer. However, the comped side never materialized and we didn't hear anything more about it. On one hand that was fine because we already ordered what we wanted but on the other hand don't offer if you can't follow through. My club sandwich was fine and everyone else seemed to like their food. When we asked for our drinks the server said it's self serve and we should have been given cups at the counter when we ordered.
