Decided to try here after going to Accurate in Brooklyn. Accurate can only do 72dpi scans. Bleeker can do TIFFs at 300dpi. A little pricy (and they charge $1 per WeTransfer), but they do high res scans. If you pay cash you get %10 off. Expect 2-3 days for the turnaround time. I will be back! read more

The guy was really nice and developed my 4 rolls of film on a cd but it took a few days & even that was after I asked if there was any way I could have it back sooner. I dropped it off Wednesday and was initially told to get it Monday which was just too long for someone impatient like me & also since other places will do them the same or next day. I took 2 stars away for that, but also more importantly for the price. It was 65ish dollars for 4 rolls on a single cd. As a mostly film photographer I can't do that bill constantly. There are other places out there that will do your film for cheaper! read more

THE SPOT. Fast. Reliable. Maybe a bit pricey, but hey you're shooting film. Might as well pay and have it done right. Their scans are fabulous, but scanning on your own is also definitely an option. The staff is always super helpful with anything, and their choice of film stocks for sale is always on point. Lots of interesting clientele, amazing location right on Mulberry and Kenmare, so usually seconds after you step out of the store, you're inspired to shoot more because this area of the city is gorgeous, and there's so many beautiful people walking around. Updating my review after going back a second time to redo my passport photo. This time, was able to work with Anil directly. Could tell he takes his business seriously, and spent time with me to get a much better photo. The flash on the camera was still pretty harsh, but he left the lights on in the studio this time instead of dimming them, so that helped a bit. Diffuse lighting would still be much better in my opinion. I have oily/combo skin, so no matter how much I powder or blot my face, I will still shine a little in a photo taken with a direct flash. I imagine I'm not the only person who has my skin type and had a hard time with taking a simple 2x2 headshot, but maybe the only one who's Yelped about it. read more

I wish I could comment on the service I recieved; unfortunately since they do not open on time I am unable to. If you want to open at 10:00; then don't state that you open at 9:30 on your website and the door. I wasted 20 minutes standing outside in the July heat. I prefer to support smaller stores, but never have problems like this when I go to chains. read more

$10 for two US passport photos! They also take photos for all other countries for the same price except Canada, which is $15. This is a great little mom and pop shop with super friendly staff. I felt bad asking them to retake my photo a few times, but they were very happy to do so. The store itself is very clean and impressively spacious for how small it is. read more

Friendly and knowledgeable. I have never had a major problem with them. Over about 30 rolls, I have had maybe 1 or 2 marks on negatives... maybe 1 or 2 is unacceptable, but, its bound to happen. If you need a rush, they will. No attitude. read more

The store is small, tiny even, but the service is friendly and efficient and prices are very reasonable. Efficient, friendly, helpful staff. We got some passport photos taken and developed here. It took 8 minutes. It's sort of a cool throwback store with lots of different film available and developing machines here as well. The space is small, so if there a few people inside it eye crowded. In the from they have what looks like a framing area with a limited but decent selection of frame stock. They also have a small but good range of pre made frames that fit standard size prints. It's a cool place, feels like an old fashion NYC neighborhood photo store. read more

I also had some photos I wanted to get cut and they told me they do not provide that service and then they told me they would charge me $1 per cut . I had over 20 photos on me . I'm a big fan of Bleeker Digital Solutions. They're definitely on the pricer side of average, but they do a great job. I use them regularly to process 35mm film and have found them to be both really knowledgeable (about film, cameras, processes) and totally reliable / consistently good. They offer a really convenient service: uploading your scanned negatives and supplying them via WeTransfer, so you don't have to come back in to collect them unless you want your negs back. Super helpful if - like me - you're always impatient to see the results :) read more
