I have been to blended bistro several times over the past few years and it's such a cute fun spot. Nestled in College Park. It is one of my favorite places to visit when I'm in the area. They do have some bites but my favorite thing of course is the Boba. It was so good that I drank it before I got to take a photo, but I got the taro smoothie with the Ube cream and tapioca Boba. It cost just over nine dollars which I think is quite a bit for a drink, but it was delicious. Pro tip you're able to adjust the sweetness level I personally get 0% sugar added and it's still extremely sweet. I'm very particular about my Boba drinks so I asked the lady working at the register several questions and she was very knowledgeable and able to answer everything. The place serves as a great third space because they have board games and lots of seating if you need to work or want to bring Family out for dinner and drinks. Blended is a delightful bistro. From great drink options to delicious snacks and meal options. The team here is helpful and friendly and it's a great place to sit and chill for a while. I got the a Pad Thai with crispy tofu and a passion fruit tea with the honey boba. Everything was super tasty and fresh. The star of the dish was tofu, perfectly seasoned, crispy with a hint of sweetness. I could eat these all day everyday. They paired perfectly with the pad Thai. The passion fruit tea may be the best in town. It wasn't too sweet and it was passion fruit forward with the a hint of green tea at the end. Can't wait to get that again. I stopped in at Blended to kill some time before an event and have a delicious tea! I've been here before for the food and have really enjoyed it, but this time I wanted to try something different! One thing that's changed since the last time I was here is there's a kiosk to order food at now instead of speaking with a cashier directly. There are still employees here that prep the orders and hand them off to you, so there's at least still some semblance of human interaction. I ordered a mango tea in a surprise cup, and it came out to just under $10 and I got a super cute capybara keychain! The vibes here are still very much laid back and chill so if you're in college park looking for a quiet place to hang out, this is a great option! read more

I was impressed with how delicious the food was. I ordered a steak bowl and was delighted with my choice. I also am obsessed with Thai Ice Tea (no boba) and enjoyed it with my meal. Inside is super cute and fun and seems like a great place to hang out with friends. I admired the games and music set up, as well as the beautiful table and chairs. The girls working there were cute and efficient. While I dined in for my order at 5 on a Thursday, I noticed there were a lot of Uber pick ups or quick orders that kept them busy. Stopped in to treat my daughter with a boba drink. We walked in and found a kiosk that we would need to use to place our order at. No problem and we were able to figure out what we wanted and put the order in and wait for the drinks and some edamame and summer rolls. We did not interact with any staff until they called our name for our order so can't speak to the "service" since ordered ourselves and then picked up items. The store was clean and lots of seating inside. We were not a fan of the boba drinks. They were more tart and had some different flavor than we expected. In my never ending search to find Ube iced coffee... I found this place by accident while visiting the neighborhood plant store a few shops down. They specialize in milk tea and boba drinks... but finding out there is a Vietnamese iced coffee with Ube cream was the best part of my day. And it was delicious! I was parched and need some refreshment so stopped in. I made it very very clear that I wanted a boba tea that was not sweet. Of course in the nicest way possible . So the service was excellent but my tea was super sweet and I was told no extra sugar was added. I do understand the green tea with fruit boba has some sugar but I order this at other places and they just add very little juice. IDK just not a good first time impression. My wife is crazy about the surprise gift cup. This is a new trend experience that bottom of the cup with surprise gift if you buy the drink. The side of the bottom side of the cup can be tear out and capture the surprise staff toy. I am not sure my wife got the drink name. But it tastes good with jelly boba. The drink is Fantastic. First time trying this spot! I love it! This is located in a cool area walking distance to shops. I got a crème brûlée brown sugar boba tea - amazing! You must try the crispy tofu!! Came here on a Thursday night for some grub and someplace new. There is some limited parking nearby in the back or street parking. When you walk in, there is a kiosk for self ordering. I ordered the poke bowl and some water. The establishment is actually quite spacious. I'm not sure if it accomodates large parties but it had long tables against the wall to sit. In the way of service, very minimal interaction with the staff but my poke bowl was very good and tasted fresh. As an aside, I loved the music that was playing at the time. It was a fun vibe and my meal was enjoyable. Curious of other offerings they have so may go back and see. I lean towards the poke bowls but it looks like their menu was pretty extensive so will have to pay better attention and maybe order some new things next time! read more

Can't go wrong with milk tea, however their Labubu jelly is far from what they are posting on their Instagram. This was in the sealed milk tea cup, so we didn't see it till we asked the worker and she used a tong and took it out. The jelly clearly not in the shape they are advertising as, but who would just submerge the jello when they are selling it as a character jello. The worker didn't speak good English to even make sense about this. I'd not recommend - there are so many other bubble tea places that are better so with their customer service level, nothing makes them stand out. read more

Really cute place. I ordered a passion and Lychee tea with the surprise add on (a cute surprise plushie hidden in a secret compartment of the cup), I also got two macarons. The drinks were good. The macarons were ok, but I'd still have them again. We loved everything about the atmosphere, especially the large selection of games. We decided to play Scrabble. I didn't enjoy how loud the music was. The staff was very nice. I couldn't decide between passion and lychee in my tea, so she suggested I try both! It's definitely a cute spot with good seating. I went in a free weeks ago to grab a tea and said I would return to get a poke bowl. Today I placed a pickup order. I got there a few minutes early and my bowl was ready. They confirmed my name and gave me my bag. I opened the bag to make sure my requested sauce on the side was there. And it was. The disappointment is that I paid for a medium bowl with three proteins and I received only two. I did not notice this until I got back to work. Perhaps it was oversight or they were out of tuna, but it wouldn't been nice for the employee to let me know that when I picked it up. The bowl was ok. What a spacious cafe with a variety of food and drink options! I tried the tofu summer rolls ($4.50) which were quite delicious with a hint of aromatic herbs and served warm with a luscious peanut sauce. The food seems like it's made fresh, as it took 10 minutes for the rolls to come out, but it was worth the wait! For a drink, I got the tropical sunset (orange juice and butterfly pea) ($6) which made for a gorgeous photo but was sadly rather underwhelming in flavor, tasting basically like orange juice and lemonade. I wish they had nondairy milk options as I was limited to the fruit flavored drinks. There's free WiFi, large tables, plenty of electric outlets for getting some work done. I also personally enjoyed the Vietnamese pop music they played. The bathrooms were clean, and a small parking lot is also available in the back. read more

Blended Bistro & Boba (which I will shorthand to BBB for the remainder of the review) was the restaurant Paula and I ate while attending the Yelp Elite event at The Jungle Room. It was a nice-looking restaurant that had many offerings, all centered on boba and dessert. Given the aforementioned simplistic detail, there is very little chance BBB would mess up, right? Well... maybe it was a bad to mediocre day for them because they were okay, but I have had better boba and desserts elsewhere in accordance with the prices they were charging. First and foremost, I must stress that the restaurant interior is simplistic and modern, yet still beautiful. That is something because most modern styles as of late are just plain boring and ugly. They did utilize the "pic area with background neon text" that seems to be popular as of late, but that may just be a sign of what is trending presently amongst restaurants. Paula and I ordered food in which we both got respective boba teas, and I also got the boba custard. They were delicious, but they did not stand out compared to other boba and dessert places. And when I say standout, I don't just mean flavor. There are places I reviewed that did not serve the best of the best, but it worked well overall. BBB is kind of expensive for what they are serving. I understand inflation is a thing, but $7 or more for boba teas seems a bit steep compared to others I've had. The service was decent, too. The girl who took care of us was kind, but it did take way too long for our food to be ready. There is something definitely lacking in the organization if it takes 15 minutes for two boba teas and a dessert. Overall, my rating is kinda okay. I would give them a little less than average, but like I said, this review is initial and BBB might have been working on a bad day. I probaby won't take time out of my day to specifically eat here. I love Blended! They have so many great options to choose from and it's more affordable then most places. The staff here are really nice. The place is also really cute! I've tried plenty of things here and everything is at least good. My favorite thing to get here is Strawberry Milk Tea w Strawberry Jelly. Omg it is so good! It's one of my favorite milk teas I've ever tried. Also their Bao Buns are amazing!! They're so soft and there's so many different options. Teriyaki Steak, Pork, and Volcano Shrimp are my favorites. I came in 5 min after they opened, and there were already people inside, not busy, maybe 2-3 people that ordered before I got there. My drink sat at the counter for a good 10 min before she gave it to me to let me know that it'll be a few min longer for the summer rolls. By the time I got it, it was pretty much melted. I took a sip and realized it had no flavor to it. They should give people their drinks after its made especially if they are waiting on other orders. While waiting for the rest of my order, I was looking at their menu, and their pricing needs to be updated on their website. Bahn mi was okay, as it was crispy tofu. Summer rolls weren't what I had expected. They were super small, and the dipping sauce was oily. Overall, I waited a full 30 minutes to be disappointed. I had the Teriyaki Beef Bahn Mi and loved it. I also had the Vietnamese coffee and it was strong. I didn't ask if it was made with condensed milk though, which I love when I find the authentic way. Super happy with our decision to go to Blended Bistro & Boba. We came to the area bc I was curious about Honolulu Harry's across the street. We didn't end up going there. We were already parked beside Blended and the weather started getting bad, & I looked online and saw I had this place bookmarked already so I figured this place was meant to be. First impression was an especially friendly helpful staff. Customer service goes a long way for me and they were definitely pretty awesome. I loved that they had different options for seating and started at a couch and went to the table so we can order food and drinks. While we were waiting, I laughed bc they have games and we always end up playing Connect 4 which we love! I ordered an Ube Horchata(I always have to get Ube if it's on a menu). I also ordered fresh summer rolls which are free with Yelp Check in, and lastly ordered two shaking steak entrees with no onion. They give you a buzzer to let u know when the food is ready. Once it was ready, two trays were there and they helped me carry it to my table. Like I said the details here with service are excellent. Later, I also asked about the park a block down where the gazebo is and he let me know about the way to get there easier. All around awesome place and even better customer service. One of my favorite spots to stop by if I'm in the area! Their mochi donuts are airy and sweet, I do wish they would switch the selection more frequently and get a bit more creative, still the ones they sell are very yummy. Their fruit teas are creative though and refreshing. They make their corndogs with time to ensure they're fresh I like the potato and elote the best. It's a very clean and organized area with a space for sauces, forks, straws, and napkins. I've never been concerned with the service either. Mainly nice and quick. They have such a fresh taste with shrimp, rice noodles, fresh veggies and the peanut sauce completes this tasty item. They have some seasonal summer drinks and I opted for the kumquat green tea with passion fruit popping. This drink has just the right amount of sweetness and is so refreshing. We also ordered the steak rice platter that could be ordered with a spicy flavor. This dish has delicately sliced beef, baby corn, brocolli, carrots, celery, and onion in a delicious beef sauce served with white rice. The Gyozas or fried dumplings were crispy and hot. And the noodle bowls can be ordered with a variety of proteins. There is chicken, pork, and tofu. We ordered the seasoned tofu and the bowl has rice noodles, carrots, cucumbers served with a fish sauce for dressing. Other items for small bites include empanadas, crab rangoons, egg rolls, popcorn chicken, and edamame. There have Banh Mii sandwiches which is like a sub with options of tofu, Chicken, pork, or beef. These sandwiches are served with pickled Daikin, carrots, cumbersome, cilantro and Vietnamese mayo. Poke bowls, noodle soup and desserts like bubble waffles with ice cream and an awesome variety of macarons are on the menu. One of the best items on the menu is their boba tea selections. There is milk tea, green tea, fruit tea, slushies with favored popping that burst in your mouth with such refreshing flavor. First things first, I am so angry with myself for forgetting to check in and missing out on those free summer rolls. The good news is that I have a reason to make a quick return. And of course I'm excited based on my recent experience. All of the food is excellent. I was surprised at the variety on the menu. For a counter service establishment, it delivers on options. After kicking around some standout choices, I landed on pho. It seemed appropriate on a cold Florida day. I ordered the vegan broth with shrimp and veggies and it hit the spot. They loaded it up with all the fixings and served it beautifully. Nice flavor! My friend ordered the pad Thai which was another slam dunk that I've book marked for future visits. It was loaded with flavor just like the pho. The peanut flavor felt very distinct. My friends ordered some macarons and fruit tea on the way out and were so impressed. I came here for a K-pop cupsleeve event this summer. This is a good sized cafe with plenty of space to sit (or vending, in the case of the event) and it seems the owners are cool with event organizers decorating the space with permission. (As the windows and walls were covered in decorations themed to the K-pop group for the event.) It can get loud in there with drinks, food, and people talking at once, so you might not want to go if there is an event taking place in the cafe. I ordered a black milk tea with boba pearls and half sweetness. They come in 2 sizes and I went with the smaller size. I confirmed with the barista that the drinks are made with non-dairy creamer, save for the ones marked fresh milk. Drink came out in under a minute. I think it was okay but the pearls were a little hard to chew. (Maybe I got a batch that had been sitting for a while?) One minor con about the cafe at the time when I went was their A/C wasn't working and it became very warm in the cafe. They were apologetic, but it was not ideal during a hot summer day. (Hopefully it got fixed.) Parking can be a struggle depending on day and time of day you go. There is street parking and some lots, but for the latter, check the spots and make sure you're not parking in designated spaces for other businesses. read more
