The place is in a nice plaza with lots of parking space! A bonus to me is that there's a Miniso two doors down so you can shop after you eat. The food was delicious! I love getting black garlic ramen when I go to a ramen spot and it was super good. I tried a bit of the spicy tonkatsu and the broth was also delicious, and the spice wasn't too overpowering. The takoyaki was nice and hot when it came out. There's 6 pieces in an order (but got hungry and ate some before taking a pic). They were decently busy when I went around dinner time but we got serviced and our food came out in a timely manner. Ramen lovers in the Altamonte Springs area look no further than Token Ramen. It is in the same plaza as Winn Dixie, Five Below, and TJ Maxx. They have been here a year and has been a quiet secret that needs to be talked about. The ramen bowls are much bigger than the picture displays and great tasting. There is a wide variety of bowls and even some with low soy sauce for those watching their sodium intake. The ramen bowl I selected was a chicken ramen bowl without the soy and it did not disappoint. I had to take more than half home for dinner. The appetizers can equally be a meal on its own as there is a lot of food served. My choice was the ninja chicken nuggets with chili pepper sauce and a side of shredded carrots. My picture is a little light on the amount as I had started on the nuggets before taking a picture. The drink selection ranged from teas, milk teas, etc. with boba, etc. Everything is reasonably priced in a fun atmosphere with a bar area and three TVs, seating for individual, and tables and booths for family and friend groups. The staff greet you with a smile upon entering and promptly get you seated and taking your drink orders. As work is close by I think I have found a new lunch spot to tell my coworkers about that work over in the Maitland office complex area. This is also just a cool place to grab dinner after grabbing some things from the nearby stores (Walmart, Target, Costco, Winn Dixie, Five Below, TJ Maxx, PetSmart, Cybertron Video Games, Miniso, Hibbett Sports, etc.). I was a little sick and decided to give this place a try since it was nearby. We ordered online and really appreciated the notifications on the progress of our order. As soon as I walked in, the cashier was attentive and friendly. I was also surprised to see how packed this place was on a hot summer day. Overall, my soup was hot and fresh with great flavor too. This restaurant came up on my Yelp feed and we had to try it. We dined in, but it seems like they do quite a bit of takeout orders as well. They have tvs playing videos of different street foods being made and Asian pastry videos. It was fun to watch during our meal. They serve a variety of teas and boba but no alcohol. There is a great variety on the menu from appetizers, rice bowls, hibachi, and ramen. We tried the spring rolls, but didn't really like them. They were a little cold in the center of the roll but not why we wanted to try the restaurant. We were impressed with the variety of ramen available. I ordered Tonkatsu and my husband had the Black Garlic. The pork was delicious and torched well. Our broths had tons of flavor and we liked the wavy noodles. They had a really cool menu and I liked that I can order takeout from the tablet as soon as I walked in and they had lots of pictures even without the pictures staff was available to explain things. I have been waiting to see what was going to open in the place of the Chinese restaurant that has been here for so long. I was pleasantly surprised that it was a ramen spot:) So excited to have something so close to where I live. I decided to get the black garlic ramen and added an extra seasoned egg and come chilli oil for some extra spice. This was a soft opening for them and they were busy getting fresh made fruit teas and orders out for some in and takeout. There is a kiosk for takeout orders at the front which look pretty convenient to use. I decided to dine in. For their soft opening, if you order an entree you get a free fruit tea- I went with the pineapple green tea which was recommended by my waitress as one of her favorites. It was deliciously sweet just what I was expecting. It had pieces of pineapple at the bottom which added some nice texture to my drink. You can change the level of sweetness to your drink which is nice. So the Black Garlic Ramen. It was a porkbroth with black garlic oil and I added their house chili oil. Super flavorful piping hot and delicious... that black garlic oil and chili oil set it off. The tender pork chashu was super tasty and the pork broth was silky smooth. This is their soft opening and they did an amazing job with the service. The seasoned egg was delicious and I probably cook have eaten a whole dozen of them:) There is about 6 booths and 3 tables each with seating for four people. Token is my husband and I favorite Asian fusion spot in Altamonte area. We've been here twice, and they've been pretty consistent. They definitely have the best crab Rangoon in town hands down. The food always comes out hot and fresh and super fast every time. I also loved their pineapple fruit tea, it's very refreshing. Their spicy ramen had this delicious shredded beef on top I've never tried before. The toppings they offer for their ramen are all great and fairly priced. We ordered the steak ramen, spicy Tonkotsu ramen, dumplings and fried chicken wings. The dumplings were ok, cold in the middle, uneven cooking. I tried Token Ramen and had an okay experience. In my opinion, they include way too many toppings in their ramen. I ended up taking most of them out and keeping it simple with just ramen, egg, and broth--exactly how I like it. The broth itself was flavorful and delicious, definitely the highlight of the meal. The restaurant was small and cozy it was pretty empty due to me coming right after work. I ordered it to go, but I feel like the experience might be better dining in. I'll definitely give it another try at the restaurant. They offer a lot of different menu items, so there's plenty to explore. I was so estatic to hear about this new Ramen shop that was nearby. I had to go give it a try on my off time. So far the customer service was quick and friendly. I was seated soon as I walked in. They provided a menu which you will easily recognize most of the items. I do wish and recommend that they provide details of what type of meat you have in the gyoza. I was advised it was chicken so I ordered them pan fried. I got some spring rolls, a Taro milk tea with non dairy powder, and a chicken shoyu ramen bowl. So the chicken gyoza were pan fried perfectly and taste good with and without the ponzu type sauce it comes with. Definitely will be back for some more. I also liked the pepper-ish spring rolls with the perfect crispy crunch. Now the ramen was good but I had a bit of suds but I wiped it from the area with a napkin. The chicken was thinly sliced and the broth was light with a hint a flavor. This place is going to be one of my new spots. I will be back to try some of their other items on the menu. This restaurant may serve good food, but the hospitality is as cold as ice. My wife was a paying customer and eating at a table in Token Ramen. I came in with our disabled son in a wheelchair chair to sit at her table. A young girl worker came up to us and looked at wheel chair and said you can't sit here. I informed her my wife is a customer right here and we are joining her. She snarked at me and said "30 mins only." I then said do you prefer us sitting in front of restaurant? I asked my wife to get up and we moved. We moved to front. The owner comes over to give us trouble. I told her we are paying customers, we just want to eat. The young lady and owner went behind counter and began to talking about us. We were given stink eye by them and other employees. My wife told me that she ate here once before with a friend and her friend had not come in yet and they asked her to sit at the bar table very rudely. This restaurant is not handicap friendly, and they are more concerned about making money than hospitality. Too bad, we have spent hundreds on take out here. They just lost a customer for life. I would take your business elsewhere. They are so cheap they can't even make a professional sign saying they are closed on Tuesday. read more

The to-go ordering you have to do by yourself on a tablet, but they were very helpful with any questions. The service was very friendly and excellent! We ordered a slushy and it was made very fast and in a classy plastic cup with lid. The order came out fast also. The portions were good, but a little pricey. I didn't feel the tofu or soup had any flavor. I added some teriyaki type sauce on it and made it better. Most likely we will return, but I would like to try the ramen next time. Waiter left quickly and came back on their table and realized he gave the wrong order, took the ramen back from them, and literally served us the same ramen! He said "but they didn't touch it. they just ate the appetizers." That statement alone! and how would you know if you left. One ramen seems it wasn't touched but still, as soon as it's been put to a different table. I'm not eating it. Just paid for it and left. We just wanted to try Token because it's closer to us. honest review... of someone who eats ramen and pho often. The ramen flavor is ehhh... noodles and "added" toppings are good but the broth is just not flavorful. First time eating it and it just doesnt hit. I go to Domu a lot and this is nothing like it (comparing flavors and quality) Also got a tea... I had to get it made 3x because it was just 3/4 water and rest tea. They use low quality of teas and just add syrups. For the price, it is not worth it... GO TO JINYA. It is well worth the drive compared to this. I live 5 minutes from Token and have tried it twice now. It's terrible compared to legit ramen. I was so excited for it to open but it does not compare to soooo many other places. The noodles are ok, the broth is obviously made from concentrate (you can tell because there's concentrated sediment at the bottom of the to-go bowl)., and the chashu is so dry it's ridiculous. I've tried takeout and dine in and it's NOT GOOD. Also, they only give you half an egg. That's just stupid lol read more
