I don't even know what's going on here or how something ends up looking like this

I was not happy with my experience here. Right after the cut the guy did something to make the haircut look OK with gel but after going home and showering, it ended up looking like the worst haircut in my life. It didn't fit the shape of head, there was no fade, it looked uneven in places and didn't part correctly. It just wasn't what the pictures of other people's haircuts look like on here at all. I can make it look passable with gel if I do it right but even then it still looks off. Maybe would give it another try with a different barber, but it was a miss for me.

First of all check on what your haircut is going to cost you! I forgot to ask and ended up with a $30 bill for a little haircut... They did a great job, but I was shocked at the cost. I check on the reviews before I went and saw reviews saying that their haircut averaged around $11 to $16... So that is what I was expecting. Does this look like a $30 haircut???

A barber, at another salon, butchered my hair. Shaved both sides and left a very long patch down the middle. Basically a mohawk. When I left the shop my hair was plastered down with product so I could not tell the full damage until I washed it. As an adult, I knew my hair would grow back, but it is still a huge issue. I literally would wake up each morning thinking, "Gotta wear my hat all day." I can't remember the barber's name, but in my mind I call him Edward ScissorHands. I waited about a month and then gave Blessed Barbershop a try and they did not disappoint. Randomly and luckily, I got Bryan. He listened with patience to my hair horror story, which was probably exhausting for him, and then spent a good while clipping away. My back was to the mirror so I could not see what he was doing. The whole time I was thinking, "Yeah, he looks normal....BUT....so did the guy who jacked up my hair. I hope he is not Edward ScissorHands' evil twin." He finished and spun me around to face the mirror. Boom! Relief! My hair was on the path to being normal. I waited another month and went back to Bryan. After his second go at my hair, it is not only normal but, honestly, one of the best and most precise cuts I have had. If you end up going to Blessed Barbershop and you don't ask for Bryan you are mad! Grateful ! read more

Love the overall vibe! Feels like you're entering into a barbershop that's located in the heart of ComiCon! It's brightly lit, clean, fun music, and great bathrooms. I was referred to Gio by a mutual friend and he does not miss. I got a beard trim, lineup, and tapper. Everything he does is with precision and care. For those three items it does take an hour and the price is $60 for the appointment. So it's on the higher end of a cut, but the quality is top notch. Been coming here for a few months. Desiree is super dope! She's always professional and punctual! Miguel is also a good barber. Tbh everyone I see cutting hair does a good job. And the BEST thing I like about the shop is their scheduling system.. you don't have to call and wait for a response.. everything is done online. The vibe is nice they play tasteful music. Been here a few times with my son, and they always do a fantastic job. The environment is very "cool guy" which my son likes and I love for him! My son has very thick, full-bodied hair with waves/curls and they know how to cut it and have it grow out great naturally. Yes, they are a bit pricey ($40 for a cut) but that is pretty standard for a good barber and it is worth it seeing the detail and attention they put towards a cut. They are also very patient with my son who either doesn't know what he wants done to his hair or has a lot of questions! We took our 5 year old son to Tony and he was amazing! My brother takes his son to Eber, and recommended we come here. Tony was really thorough and detailed, which I appreciated. We used to take our son to a kids haircut place and while they were good with kids, sometimes the cuts left a bit to desired. Tony inquired with me for the style, but honestly I trusted with what he suggested. Also, I enjoyed his music selection and he even sang at times! This place has a barbershop vibe, with numerous knick knacks and wall art, it captures the aesthetic of an urban barbershop. The cuts themselves are what separate this shop from good to elite. My man Jaime is my go to at the shop. He offers numerous packages from simple head hair cuts, beards, eyebrows, all the way to facials. Since finding this shop I haven't gone anywhere else. Safe to say they got me right. Jaime even gives me a custom cross on the back left side of my fade for free. I've had people come up and complement me. The cross adds that unique touch and serves as his signature to his art. I am definitely one happy client can't wait till Tuesdays to get that FRESH cut. read more

Been here 4 times without getting a cut. All DURING business hours- two of them were with appointments. Business hours are really when they're there not the hours posted. If you make an appointment as well they might come or might not and you will get ghosted. No compensation for loss of gas or time. That's not a good way to run a business. If you want a professional barber find a shop serious about their money. read more

I started coming in when this place opened. I haven't had a bad experience. The vibe of the shop is really chill. Super comfortable. I brought my daughter here to hang out while I got my haircut once and she was super comfortable to hangout. Everybody is very professional and the shop is clean. I can appreciate a clean work environment so this was nice. The barber I had was professional and ultimately I was really happy with my haircuts. I will be going back. I recommended my friends here as they live close by. I would recommend you book a time in advanced. I have waited maybe 10-15 min to be seen before but when it's my turn I am treated really well and I didn't feel like they did any short cuts or rushed me at all. read more

This shop recently opened and I decided to try it out due to its proximity to my house. Not bad on price when compared to other local barbers, and in my opinion you usually get what you pay for. The guy who helped me out was very friendly, I believe Eber was his name, very personable conversation and a good atmosphere overall, modern looking decor with some pretty cool retro looking chairs, the red really pops.. I will be visiting again for my next cut and many more. read more

I don't even know where to begin, so I'll start with the scheduling experience. I called ahead to…read morebook a haircut for my 2 yr old son and specifically asked if the barbers were comfortable cutting a toddler's hair, knowing how challenging that can be. The person I spoke with assured me that they could and said he personally handled children's cuts. His name was Christian. I booked the appointment for Saturday, October 11th, at 11a, and mentioned I had a photo reference of the style I wanted. He said that would be perfect to share at the appointment. Fast forward to the appointment: I arrived around 10:45a with my son. We were neither greeted nor acknowledged (red flag #1). I understand it's an all male barbershop, but as a mom walking in with a young child, a simple "Hi" or "Welcome" would have gone a long way. Moments later, a male customer entered and was warmly greeted with, "Hey, welcome to the shop, we'll be right with you" (red flag #2). A few minutes later, a barber approached and confirmed I was there for my son's appointment. He introduced himself as Christian and said he'd be with us shortly. To his credit, the appointment started right on time, and I did notice him cleaning his tools and workspace before calling us over. That's the one star. Once my son was seated, I showed Christian the photo of the haircut I wanted. I also told him my son had hurt his ear earlier that morning and asked that he be gentle around that area. He acknowledged and began working. However, as he started cutting, I noticed he was going much shorter than the reference photo. I showed him the picture again, and he said he'd stay at a "2," yet continued cutting shorter (red flag #3). By the time I stopped him, my son's hair was already down to a "1"completely different from what I had requested. To make matters worse, Christian continued touching my son's sensitive ear despite my earlier warning. My son was becoming restless, and I finally asked him to stop. Christian insisted on "just finishing the top," and although I agreed, I clearly said not to cut it short. He nodded, then proceeded to do exactly that. He ultimately charged $20, explaining it wasn't a "full service." Honestly, I should have refused to pay given the botched result. My son's haircut was nothing like the photo, and the entire experience felt careless and dismissive. Because of this experience, I will not be returning to this barbershop. I strongly advise parents of young children (especially mom's) to avoid bringing their kids here unless they're okay with botched cuts and sexist behaviors.
