I patronize this business at least twice a week, for about 7 months now and I am always impressed with how friendly they are, and how quickly they can turn around my orders...everything from simple laundry of dress shirts to dry cleaning to alternations. Prices are quite reasonable. They are family owned with a couple of other young gals they've hired to work the counter and everyone is very friendly and efficient. Great place until they lost my clothes. I went to pick it up and they lost my clothes. They tried to give me some other item and they it was mine brcause of the ticket. Not sure if they ruin my vlothes or lost it but the they were giving me a puece of clothes that was not mine.Very disappointed. I wont be back. read more

Took my vintage gown to be taken in about 2 or 3 inches on the bust. I was really nervous because of the material and the age of the dress. The ladies there did a wonderful job my dress fit perfectly AND fixed a tear on the chiffon for free. Great ladies that work here and an amazing cleaners. They're always super nice and try their best to work around my needs. I never write reviews but I fell with love with the lady's personality and honesty. Needed a huge dress tailored to my size. I didn't even think it would be possible but she listened to every little detail without getting annoyed with me! Haha She told me genuine suggestions and in the end it turned out perfect! She knows what she's talking about and her limits. They will always give their honest opinion. I've been to a few other cleaners and the price here was the best along with their service! I was so shocked and appalled when I went to pick up my suit and the cleaners said they could not find it. WHAT? Never in my whole life has this happened to me at any cleaners. How can it even happen? They have the suit, I have the ticket, you match them up and give me my clean suit. How hard can it be? Pretty hard for them, I suppose. All they offered me in return was a month of free cleaning. Are they freaking joking? I'm still mad, deciding what course of action to take next. I've had alterations done that were not ready when promised, and have been yelled at when I brought in an item that ended up being difficult for them to clean -- which I had no idea it would be. Blessed Cleaners in Clayton Road and Bailey Road is not bless at all. 0 stars should be the rating for this particular merchant!! I decided to try this place for the first time to get my suit separate pants shorten and dry clean last month. You will see a lady in mid 40s who happens to be the "manager" is so unfriendly the moment you walk in. The look on her face is so uninviting but it didn't stop me from going in. Yelp rating is good after all. Everything was good until I pick up my pants two days after. I immediately look at the hem and I noticed that I could see the thread lining from outside. I thought it was weird but I just moved on from there. After a month, the work that was done started falling apart....the stitches insides were coming off. My intention today is to get it repaired so I called the store and spoke to the manager. She started asking questions such as how many times I have washed it and all. For someone who works in this particular business should know that wool fabric doesn't need washing all the time if given proper caring. At this point, she told me that I would have to pay for it to get it repaired then I hang up. I decided to come to the store to show how sloppy the work that was done on my pants worth $95. I told them that the stitches were showing outside and the stitches inside "pop up or pop out" according to the elder Asian lady. She offered to get it fix but I refused because I am afraid that they might do even more damage and the type of treatment I was given already. This place is not customer friendly and they do not put pride to their work. I went straight to Dry Clean USA near Safeway on Kirker Pass and Clayton Rd to get my pants fix. To my surprise, Sandra, an employee for Dry Clean USA, told me that the job wasn't done correctly. She said that the work was done on my pants was by HAND since there were spaces in between stitches by the hem. If it was done by the machine, then there will be no spaces in between and the stitches wouldn't appear outside the pants. Sandra took care of me and made sure that my pants will be taken care of accordingly. She was very nice, sweet, friendly and professional. I am a happy camper at this point. Bottom line is that Blessed Cleaners should think twice on how they should do their business. They are very unprofessional, give bad service and poor quality and lies to their clients. I will never come back to this place again and I definitely learned my lesson. There is quite a bit of dry cleaning competitors around this area and I would like to challenge my fellow consumers to think twice or even more about doing their business at Blessed Cleaners. I would totally recommend Dry Clean USA! You automatically greeted with a smile and that alone is already a good start. This business is not willing to help when there is a problem with their service. I had a jacket cleaned there and they ruined it totally. When I asked that they replace the jacket; the manager refused and would not discuss the matter any further. I have not returned since and I did business with them for a couple of years. read more

Never will returned here... NEVER!!! For a year I would I would get my pants and jeans tailored and loved how the older woman would do my tailoring so precise ever time. On one occasion, I had to return the pants due to them not fitting correctly. The woman I spoke assured me that my pants would be fixed and since I had already paid, the correction would be for free. After one week, I go to pick up my pants. The woman handed me my pants and stated 'that would be $12'. Bit surprised, I mentioned that the older woman who normally alter my pants stars that this is a free correction. She mentions 'oh yea, that's my mother. My sister and I own the place now'. That's great, but that's not what I agreed too when I retuned my pants for a correction. Long story short, instead of calling their mother or making any kind of attempt to cross check anything, the daughter stated I had to pay $7 to receive my jeans (I guess she was assuming she was reasoning). My husband and I have been going to this place for 2.5 years. About a year and a half ago, he brought in an Armani suit that needed to be tailored. They cuffed the pants as requested, but lost a belt loop. The cuffs to the pants had to be removed so that there was enough material to make a new belt loop. We decided to give them another chance. Today, I go to pick up my dry cleaning. I notice that my shirt is frayed and the stain is still there. Not only did they still charge me for my ruined blouse, but they also would NOT pay to replace what they ruined! They told me, "We don't guarantee." I have used Blessed Cleaners for the past two years on a weekly basis. Good Customer Service sometimes can be hard to find but great customer service is almost impossible. This family business has well over exceeded any expectations you could ever have. They are very efficient, get things done in a timely manner, and very friendly when you come in the front door. I have had many clothing articles altered or repaired without any problems, and at a reasonable price. If more businesses ran as smoothly as this one does, what a perfect world we would live in. I hate to write a bad review but I was really expecting better from them especially since I had to go back there 4 times. I brought my wedding dress to get dry cleaned there and there were dirt stains on the bottom. There were some minor miscellaneous stains on the top front of the dress. So I went to pick up my dress and notice that the dirt stains were still on the dress. Then the guy (owner?) told me that he'll try to get the stains out and to come back again. So when I went back, the cashier girl, says "oh the stains didn't came off". Okay if she knew the stains didn't come why didn't she just give me call to tell me that so I wouldn't waste my time going over there. I could have just told her on the phone to figure out how to get the stains out because it looks like I would have done a better job splashing some water on the dress. So another lady (owner?) says she will try to get the stain out and I pointed to the miscellaneous stains on the top of the dress. So I came back another time and no surprise there, the dirt stains were still there. Are they serious??!! I guess so.. I was so tired of going there and having them attempt to clean my dress when obviously I could have done a better job myself. I reluctantly paid, took my dress and left what one would call a dry cleaner. The receipt said "have a blessed day",hmm not really. I will be bringing my dress to another dry cleaner to get the job done right. read more

This place is Awesome! I used to go to a cleaner at Pleasant hill and recently I moved to Clayton so I changed to the new one AND this place is amazing. First they do such a nice job on dry cleaning. I brought some blouse, dress and jeans and the result was so nice. And oneday I bought a jean from Macys but it was somewhat too long for me so I had to make it shorter. I brought that jean when I dropped of my everyday clothes, and one lady measured the length and suggested to bring which shoes am I going to wear with that jean. (So here's the tip when you have some pants to be shorten; Bring the shoes with you to make a better results!) So I brought my wedge heels at the same day and 3 days later I got my shorten jeans And the result was somewhat unexpected. She did such a good good job. And I was surprised at the price! I bet it is cheaper than the any other places in this area. If you recently move to this area just like me and if you are looking for a new cleaners than THIS is the place where you should go! :) read more

Would give a 0 if I could. Like another reviewer I loved this place before it was bought out. Family was great and always fair and reasonable. Acknowledged their mistake and always made it right. I took 2 dresses to be hemmed and mind you only needed to be stitched by machine and not by hand. I was charged $18.00 per dress (I know a friend of mine told me I could have gone over to TJ Maxx and buy me another for that price) but these 2 dresses meant something to me and wanted to take them on a trip with me. Got home and tried on the dresses and one was done properly but the other was not. Took back the dress and the alterations lady insisted that she did what I asked for and would fix it for a charge of half the original fee. Told her that I wasn't going to pay anything else for it and that she did not do what I asked. Oh well a neighbor is going to fix for me and you can be sure that I will not be back. Oh how I miss the other owners. So nice to deal with and knew how to run a business and keep the customers happy. read more

For over ten years I used to take my clothes there for alterations. At that time, a very nice professional older Asian lady did the alterations. She always did a wonderful job, and I trusted her. I think she must have retired two years ago. A young Asian woman was now doing alterations. I took in 4 pairs of Macy's designer jeans. When I received it back, all 4 of the jeans were about 5-6 inches too long. The woman then turned it on me, implying that it was my fault because I wanted them long. I wanted the jeans to go to my heel, but not drag on the floor. The young woman took no responsibility on her part for the botched alteration. So then she said she would redo the alterations at no charge. Days later I went to pick them up. Every pair of jeans was a different length, some shorter than others. The jeans went from being altered 5-6 inches too long, to now being 4 inches above the ankles. I never said anything and never demanded my money back because I didn't want to create a scene, and for over 10 years the older Asian woman did a fantastic job. The young Asian woman was unreasonable to deal with, and had a prideful attitude that she could do no wrong or make a mistake. I had no issues with the stitching, but her measuring skills were very poor. I feel like she should not be working doing alterations, but some other kind of job. For two years I wore those short jeans 4 inches above my ankles, feeling embarrassed and ashamed, (and angry that she messed up my jeans which were expensive and I got no reimbursement) until I was able to get brand new jeans. I'm going to have those old jeans made into bermuda shorts. I'll never do business with this cleaners again. read more
