It is a family run dry cleaning with expert tailoring and quality service Anna goes above and beyond to make sure your dry cleaning is done correctly, and in a timely fashion, as long as you communicate with her. Her tailoring has been fantastic for us as well. She has also been wonderful for the community sponsoring local nonprofit group groups that my son is involved in. Atrocious customer service. I understand that dry cleaners aren't magicians and have limitations in what they can offer. However customer service is where companies can shine and this business is disrespectful, unethical, and not worth your money. My dad brought in a dress for me for a rush cleaning. Given that the dress was creme colored, I understood that not every stain would come out. However, when we picked it up it, they didn't make a dent. It looked identical to when it was dropped off and my dad said that given this, he didn't want to pay an express cleaning fee. Usually when you drop off dry cleaning, cleaners will give you an honest assessment of what they can and cannot produce, and this didn't happen in this instance. He reasonably asked if he could pay the regular cleaning fee and the cleaner basically said no, and that should would hold the dress hostage until laid. She started yelling at him and calling my mom (whose number was on file) demanding payment. Horrible experience, and would never recommend this place. read more

I wouldn't say I'm a dry cleaning aficionado, but there are certain things that make me happy (or not so happy) about a dry cleaners. 1. Reasonable prices - check 2. Gets my stains out - check 3. Ready on time - check And, the reason for the five stars - when I went to pick up my husband's shirts, she noticed that one wasn't pressed to her liking so she took it out of the wrap, re-pressed it, and then re-wrapped it and handed it to me with the rest. Walnut Creek Dry Cleaners are at the high side of expensive. I average $30.00 a week in dry cleaning at Fashion Cleaners. The owners are very nice and know each and every customer by name. They send everything out so turnaround is somewhat slow. We never get next day although we pay a price that should include next day. They do inspect all garments and note when there are problems. They fix broken buttons on the spot. They spotted chemicals on a Tommy Bahama shirt and could not get it out so they reimbursed me for the shirt. We continue to patronize them because they are honest, nice and good people. Four stars reflect the higher price and slower turnaround on items. read more

The place is pretty good and service is super friendly. Expensive? It's not cheap ... but it's exactly the same pricing as all the other operations here in the Walnut Creek area. A regularly-laundered shirt is about $3. Dry-clean trousers are about $10. I guess I could expend the extra gas and drive farther to get a lower cost but the price seems about on par with local cleaners. Quality is very good and I trust all my shirts and suits to them. As a regular, the shop owners have come to know who I am and I don't even need to take out a ticket anymore! They always know my preferences for starch and always make special notes for any stains or marks on my clothes so that spot can get extra attention. This is probably the best customer-service part of my weekly errands routine. read more

After moving from San Francisco, where we had six dry cleaners within a two block radius, I was surprised by the dry cleaners in Walnut Creek. They were more expensive, unreliable, and profoundly unfriendly. Luckily, I discovered Fashion Cleaners at Countrywood. It's close to home, extraordinarily reliable, and always friendly. I can't comment on the prices because I just don't go often enough anymore. They probably skew higher then the local competition, but I would suggest that their overall professionalism and courtesy are worth any price differential. read more

Great cleaners, though not cheap. I had been going to a discount cleaners closer to home for years, but the strong chemical odor would not leave my clothes. I came here, as my work was close by and though quite a bit more, price wise, I found it to be worth it. My things rarely smell of chemicals and if there is a trace, I'm able to air it out. Since I try to avoid buying clothes that require dry cleaning, the added cost for a few items is manageable. I recommend this cleaners. read more

We have been using Fashion Cleaners for the past 2 years while we lived in Walnut Creek. The staff was always super nice and welcoming and always had our clothes ready on time. They always did a great job with our clothes, whether it was dry cleaning, getting out stains or alterations. There were a few broken dress shirt buttons from being pressed but they always fixed any issues for us and I even had my wedding dress cleaned here, which was filthy because we got married in a forest area and they did an amazing job with it! read more

I took my suede leather jacket in to be cleaned. After assuring me they were sending it out to experts, it came back ruined. It reeks of chemicals, the leather is no longer soft and it shrank across the back and in the arms. They told me that was impossible, leather can't shrink and I was mistaken. I didn't expect they would pay for the jacket but I did want my dry cleaning fee ($50) refunded. They refused as they had paid to send it out. I will never go there again and will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau as well. read more

I have been bringing my dry cleaning to Countrywood Fashion Cleaners for years and have always been happy with their service and prices. Recently I brought a very beloved antique table cloth that had been stored probably with food and was very stained. I didn't know if it could be saved since it had been in storage for at least 10 years and washed once. Well, much to my delight, my friends at Countrywood got almost ALL of the stains out of the tablecloth and napkins. They look like new!
