I've used the same beautician for 9 years and was apprehensive about someone else cutting my hair. Maria suggested a cut that would give me the lift I needed and allow me to still clip it up. As the stylist/owner of this salon, himself, said, "I…read morewouldn't use a groupon for my hair needs, I'd go to my stylist, because who knows what you're going to get." Couldn't have said it better himself (which was strange, considering he offers it!). This person, Elsa, who handled my hair couldn't understand the cut that I wanted, albeit with picture and all. I've used a similar photo with my regular stylist, and never had any problem. The coloring seemed amiss too, i.e. she had to be instructed what to put where. If that wasn't bad enough, the place was a bit dirty; brushes and combs weren't sterilized; the stylist kept on pulling at my hair from the back to bring it to my face, to ridiculously ask if that was the right point to cut, rather than use another mirror to show me where she was going to cut, and to actually let me see the length! This place is just unbelievably unprofessional, I wouldnt be surprised if the "5 star" ratings were actually from family or friends of the salon. In short, take the owners advice (ironically!), and bring your business to your trusted stylist. Definitely not worth the saving. Oh and by the way, just to see how "professional" this salon is, the owner loves to give sarcastic responses to any negative review. Will not go back and will definitely not recommend.
