I ordered the cereal milk latte and classic breakfast burrito, which filled me up throughout my day. Water pitchers were generously kept cool and filled, and music wasn't too loud so you can do some work. There are outlets underneath the bar table which was super cool. WiFi worked great as well. Definitely coming here again the next time I get to WFH :)

I am writing this review because a few of my friends and I have frequented this coffee shop for a few years now, but we wont be back for a while. Months ago, one of my friends had made a visit and overheard an elderly woman making a negative comment about a Pride flag displayed by the register. Obviously other customers comments cant be or shouldn't be controlled by the company, but we were extremely disappointed to find out that since that comment was made, the Pride flag has been taken down. I had ran in to grab a drip before work one morning and noticed that some of the baristas also no longer had their Pride flag pins on. This clearly has details I am unaware of but it seems obvious that corporate had those images removed. This makes me and my friends feel very uncomfortable with how this situation was treated. I wouldn't recommend any of my friends to support this kind of activity. One very simple solution for you: Bring back the flag and you'll bring back our buisness! If you're worried about more complaints from individuals like the elderly woman, maybe fly an American flag as well I simply want people to feel safe and accepted.

UPDATE! I'm thrilled to share that after my post, the owner…read moreof Rekindle, Rebecca, reached out to me and has been absolutely wonderful. It's not often today for the owner of a business to reach out directly to a customer - she did and it was a very positive engagement. There are time that even the best business has a hiccup and something goes wrong. What makes a huge difference is how the business responds, and therefore, Rekindle gets five stars. I'm certain my next visit will be fantastic - I'll be posting an update in the near future. Wow - So Disappointed! Rekindle was at the Taste of Orange this year and I enjoyed one of the Italian sandwich samples they were handing out. It was fantastic! We met the owner - she was very charismatic and charming. Today we stopped by to grab an Italian sandwich, and I just cannot believe they served me bread that was so old and dry - it would have been perfect for croutons, but definitely nothing like what we had at the Taste of Orange. The bread was so dry I had to dress it up with some olive relish to eat it - I don't expect when I pay $31 for a sandwich and chai iced tea latte to get home and have to start working on my sandwich. I accept some responsibility for this, because honestly, who goes to a coffee shop for a sandwich.

I used to love their Blueberry Twist and get it almost every visit, but my most recent one wasn't quite as good as I remember. It wasn't crispy or delicious. I do like their lemon square - sweet and sour perfectly balanced.

My daughter took us to her favorite coffee shop in Orange--Play Coffee. Here are some thoughts:…read more -This is the single coolest coffee shop I've ever seen. It's an old bank building--wide open with super high ceilings and cool Roman architecture! -I'm a sweet coffee drinker and I love a good latte. So when I looked at the lattes on the menu--the "volcano" latte caught my eye. -I asked about it and the barista's eyes lit up, "If you like sweet coffee, you'll LOVE the volcano--it's made from brown sugar and sea salt." -I ordered one and the flavor was rich and unusual. The sweet and salty really work together. Surely one of the best lattes I've ever had. Highly recommended!

I ordered a Match Strawberry with no ice, but received a plain green drink with no strawberry flavor at all. When I asked about it, the staff gave me conflicting excuses, When I asked about it, the first staff member claimed the strawberry paste was already mixed in. When I brought it up again, the second staff member blamed the green color on my "no ice" request, even though other customers had drinks with clear pink strawberry layers. Ordering with no ice shouldn't make the strawberry ingredient completely disappear. And both of them looked pretty unfriendly too. Also that matcha drink was too sweet and ended up throwing it away. Given that this cafe charges premium prices compared to others, I expect much better and more honest customer service.

Oh, The Lost Bean... I'm at a loss for words…read more I really wanted to love this location. I've been a customer at the Tustin location for years, so I walked in excited. Unfortunately, this visit was one disappointment after another. We arrived at 8:30 a.m. hoping for a peaceful coffee-and-breakfast morning. Instead, we accidentally wandered into what felt like a Janis Joplin tribute concert. The music was blasting at nightclub volume--not exactly the relaxing start to the day we had in mind. But surprisingly... that wasn't even the worst part. The food was incredibly disappointing. I ordered the breakfast burrito, and the potatoes were still raw--hard enough to remind me they were once part of the ground.. My husband ordered the French toast, which looked suspiciously like it took a quick detour from Trader Joe's frozen aisle before landing on our table. There's nothing wrong with frozen French toast... unless you're charging $14 and calling it brunch. Another friend ordered the granola with berries. After a few bites, he gave it a skeptical look, pushed the bowl away, and decided breakfast simply wasn't worth the gamble. The coffee was decent , but honestly wasn't worth fighting the neighbors for a parking spot!

Heard lots of good things about Airoma so I finally decided to check it out…read more I'm glad I did, because it was one of the best matcha drinks I've had in a while. Almost comparable to Rok even! And with a bigger drink size (20oz I believe) it definitely feels worth the price. I got the double matcha and it was so smooth and creamy, with a nice mouthfeel and slight astringency. I don't know if it's added to the matcha cream on top, but it also had some saltiness that paired perfectly with the seaweed-y umami notes of the matcha. I also like that the matchas come with oat milk by default. The nuttiness of the milk suits matcha perfectly. Overall a great drink! My sister got the matcha einspanner and also says it was good. Line and wait went quickly. I'd definitely go again!
