The staff went above and beyond! After a fun day, I realized I accidentally left my phone there. Mike the farm manager met us at the gate AFTER Hours to give it back to me. Highly recommend the aviary experience, the lady there was so informative and when one of the bigger birds stole a cup of food from my daughter she gave her another one! Bathrooms were clean and we really enjoyed the bike track, barrel train, Picking flowers, And zip line. This place is a gem, And in my experience less hectic and crowded than some of the other farms. I went to the farm with my 4 year old. We had a great time! She loved the slides and barrel train. It was classic farm fun. We also enjoyed the petting farm. My daughter especially loved the friendly Great Pyrenees (we have two of them at home). I like how the petting zoo animals had enough room to get away from kids if they need a break. The only reason I'm giving four stars is because the camel and donkey (and ZONKEY!) pens seemed unkept. The ground was very muddy and the animals seemed a bit neglected. The farm was getting rid of the pumpkins for the season, so we were offered free pumpkins to take home with us, which was a nice treat! Everyone was friendly and helpful. My daughter had fun finding the perfect pumpkins. We'll definitely go back, but I wish the hooded animals were better cared for. read more

Wow, this place is awesome for anyone who loves fresh Strawberries! Whether sweet or tangy/sweet. Large, medium or super size, they got it. Now is a great time of the year to come and pick yourself. This week it was $3.00/lb. 1st time you come you pay $1.50 for a basket and they give you a scissor to use. There were so many , if was hard to chose, but worth the effort. The staff was super friendly and gave great info and advice on how to cut, chose and pick me. Walked out with 4 lbs and will be enjoying these for the next several days. Will I be back , absolutely , next weekend will be their first Easter egg hunt and then I'll be back at the end of May for Blue Berries, yum and great for you as well. read more

There were a few people with a few baskets and it was fun to pick your own. The funland is wrist bands required and seemed popular on this sunny cool day but I can see it being a swamp in the heat of mid summer. We were camping close by so it was cool to stop over but not sure we'd drive all the way from Houston...they look to be expanding so hey there are popular so if you are undecided pick a nice day and go give it a try. read more

My husband and I came here to go strawberry picking on a Saturday morning. It wasn't too crowded and it was fun browsing the aisles looking for great strawberries. Upon our arrival we were given a small basket with a plastic bag in it along with some scissors. They require everyone to sanitize their hands before going to pick the strawberries (yay for cleanliness!). I also like that they have tarps in between the aisles so it's not too muddy while walking around. We picked about 2 lbs of strawberries and paid $5/lb. After coming home, we washed them all thoroughly. The darker ones with red seeds taste like sugar! Delicious strawberries and a fun activity to do. My first time here but I have to say I love this place. They did run out of strawberries by the time we got here so that was a bummer. However anything with nature is hard to predict. To me the drive was still worth it as there were plenty of activities for the kiddos that do not involve anything electronic, which is what I always look for. Just some good old fashioned slides, sand mountain, hay maze, barrel train, hay ride, and petting zoo. We wish we could have picked strawberries but we made the best of it and loved it. Pro's One star for being so beautiful, I got great pictures with the bluebonnets (mind you while telling others peoples kids not to step on the bluebonnets and ruin future picture taking for everyone else, there was no staff there to regulate, and all of my photos have random people in the background) Another star. I would come back for that alone. half a star for parking, it still was a bitch but it helped that a few guys where pointing where to park and keeping it somewhat organized. Cons. Lines lines lines. while expected, the people who continuously cut in front of you to the kids who weren't being watched and went multiple times on things like the go carts, make the lines ten times longer and even more unbearable. The "Easter egg hunt" was a popcorn bag with 5 pieces of candy. Which would have been ok if that's what they advertised. They were not well staffed or prepared for Easter. I made it a point to not say anything at any of the attractions, it seemed like the staff was overwhelmed and just trying to do there job. I went to complain at the entrance.. And the guy tells me "have a great day" At first he only gave me the three dollars for Easter egg hunt. I mumble under my breath and try and just calm myself down. He calls me out to come tell him, and when I do mention the go carts the sparse staff, how I'm overall disappointed I wasted my day here, he says I have an attitude and I don't need to be such a smart ass. So i sarcastically say that "I've had such a great time here and I hope he has a great day!" I walk away, and for the SECOND time and he calls me back and finally hands me my money back. I am sorry I got so upset at the employee but they should be prepared for such business or prepared to give a refund without getting me worked up. To the bitch who skipped me in line and the spent the rest of the hayride calling me names and blaming me ( she says i wouldn't be skipped if i paid better attention) "YOU SKIPPED ME" i don't see how that is my fault or how you can justify being a bitch. If i wasn't already heated from getting my money back, and the whole fucking day maybe I would have had some smart ass words too. Our grandson had his 4th birthday party here and it was as fun for the adults as it was for the kids. The slides are super fast, the train is really cute and the trampoline area made me want to get up and jump! There is a spider web for climbing and a maze to get lost in. There is an animal area with chickens, goats and even a camel! There are several very nice picture opportunities throughout the farm with pumpkin piles, an old truck, etc. to use as backdrops. It was very hot when we visited but we had no problem finding a picnic table in the shade. We took snacks with us but saw a food truck and a concession area. You are able to purchase pumpkins there to take home. Small pumpkins are $1 which is quite reasonable. We had a great experience and will definitely return next season. read more

Blessington Farms is AMAZING!! I absolutely love this place and can't wait to return again next year! There's tons to do and we never had to wait a super long amount of time for an activity. There's even lots for a non-mobile kiddo to do! Love that you can bring your own food/drinks/snacks. If you forget, however, don't fret. You can pick up lunch at one of the many concession stands on site. The pricing was fairly reasonable ($2.50/hot dog, $2.50/ pbj, $1/ drink). I even saw a stand that was selling funnel cake and fresh squeezed lemonade- yum!! There's lots of cute areas to take some fall photos here, too; tons of pumpkins and adorable tractors to pose away in front of. The drive out here isn't bad, but if you have a SUV, bring it to help with parking (you have to drive on an unpaved road to get to the lot). One more tip- come early because they get busy fast. This is a well-maintained and clean place for some family fun! $15 admission for adults isn't the cheapest but it isn't unreasonable. Oh, and those with a fear of porta-potties... try not to drink too much because these are the only restrooms available!! read more

I couldn't have expected anything better, we had an amazing time. I took my one yr old daughter with my friends & their kids. We arrived right after opening (we purchased tickets online). No traffic coming in....Parking was easy and plenty, no line at the entrance but no one checked for our bracelets. We exchanged our tickets for bracelets but no one guarded or checked the entrance. Sort of an honor system I guess? There were rides, foods (burgers, fries, corn dog, funnel cake, hot dogs, snow cones), big fun slides everywhere, sand dunes, tricycle track, barrel racing, petting zoo (goats, roosters, sheep, camel) & observation zoo parrots, cows, turtles, etc. no lines anywhere, plenty of shade and places to sit & eat...absolutely no complaints except there are small honey bees everywhere. But that's nature. Food was pricey. Cheeseburger fries funnel cake and lemonade set me back $22. Clean porto potties with plenty of toilet paper and antibacterial hand gel everywhere. So many pumpkin photo ops set up...what else could you ask for? And we live 30 min away so it was great! Just get gas before you head out there bc it is in the middle of nowhere as in no close gas stations. And bring sunblock. There's shade but there's a lot more sun. When we left at 12:45pm there still were no lines, plenty of front parking...& it was pretty packed. read more

First time to this place with kids 6y and under and it was great! We had a slight horrible experience but it wasn't because of staff or the place itself. Some kid went up to mine and cussed at him and said he'd kill him. He was on the slides and I kept an eye on him but never saw the encounter. I asked my son what he did or said in return and he said he didn't do anything just stared at him. He didn't know how to react. Parents, please talk to your kids. The strawberry picking was fine. Unfortunately they force you to pay $20 per person to get into any area where you can sit. They have loads of tables in the "Fun land" area but you aren't allowed to sit and wait there unless you pay. You aren't even allowed to buy food from the food trucks unless you pay extra to sit. We were 4 adults with one child and there was no need for all 4 adults to accompany the 2 year old so the two of us who were waiting for an hour had to sit in the dirt in the parking lot because by the time we noticed the strict security around the park benches the rest of our party was too far away for us to get keys to the car. read more

Searching for something healthy and enjoyable for 3 kids ages 1, 5 and 7. They love discovering things and trying out something new.. Since I had just moved to Fulshear it was no fun wandering through boxes that needed dumping out, so we loaded them up and off we went even in the rain. This is a super place as a teachable moment, the strawberries hydroponically grown, the hay ride fun for city kids and the pile of sand they can play on has imaginations set wild. This is a new place but so very clean and with the only exception to grand is a wide open large as life porta potty, when you gotta go they thought of everything. A lb of berries is $5, well worth the price and oh so yummy who can boast of the picking of berries in December. Hope they continue to grow and be blessed, Staff were super. Very relaxing and very pleasant farm! Gives you that "away from the city" vibes. Would give 5 stars but this one chick that was super rude. We were there for blueberry & blackberry but we were told that only strawberry & blackberry was available. Lady was nice and sweet so we were fine with it and followed what she told us and rules. She said go to strawberry first then come back at their cashier station to go to blackberries when we get done. Came back and it was a different girl said that there were also out of blackberries. So again we were fine with it. I thought you know maybe she thought we were wanting blueberries because we were literally only at the strawberry part for like 10 mins. There's no way. So I told my boyfriend to ask again maybe she got confused. He then asked but said nope no blackberries BUT "we can pick the "lemonade berries" or something?? I said what is that? I've never heard of that but sure why not.might as well. We were willing to pay for it. We then proceeded to the "lemonade berry part and even ask the girl where should we put it? Do we need a new basket for it?? She responded "No need,just put it on the same basket" and we're like okay. We were having fun even with all the "NO's... we don't have it anymore" and we understand people come and go and yes we might have gone too late! few minutes later this chick yells at us from a distance saying "y'all shouldn't be there.. you can't be there" embarrassing us in front of everyone instead of nicely saying "I'm sorry but you can't be there" At least come closer but NO! She yelled and yelled and raising her voice until we get closer to her. We said we're sorry and that we were told it was okay to be there and we will pay for what is worth. But no she gave us a stank look like we stole her shit. My boyfriend was like "ma'am I'm not lying to you. " yet she said "NO SHE DIDN'T TELL YOU THAT" with attitude. Everything was fine until a person with no respect ruins your day!! After reading some comments it wasn't just us who expletives this and yes Froberg had better amount of berries and cheaper! We paid $21 for basket that would probably cost us $8 at Froberg! Going here thinking it will be a nice change of location of Berry picking but I was wrong. And for that. Will not come back here. Customer service is everything. We didn't do anything wrong yet we got yelled at like we're stole something. We've been going to Froberg for the past 4 years and had never experience anything like this. Nice place though. Blessington Farms caused my family and i unbelievable trauma. We showed up one day (after an hours drive) only to find out that the strawberries we planned on picking were frozen over from the week before. When surprised by this fact, the staff ridiculed me in front of my impressionable children for our ignorance. They condescended that we should have "checked the website" but when we later looked up the information, the only announcement was a single line of fine print. The Spring Break Spectacular turned out to be more of a Spring Break Suck-tacular (excuse my language) and I strongly do not recommend the visit out. Overall, the only thing I would rate worse than this farm would be Texas weather and the utter betrayal and heartbreak the cold brought upon us all. read more

Gravel road to the farm so don't drive your nice cars here. They have wagon for ppl to go around to pick pumpkins. I thought that's very convenient. We went on the first day it opens for the Halloween season. Recent rain made it muddy but it didn't stop kiddos from having fun. At 18.95/head not including tax is pretty pricey but I mean there are tons of activities and so many perfect backdrop for picture opportunities. Great place to take Halloween or fall pictures. Camel or bird feed is $3 extra. We got 3 lettuce leaves for $3 to feed the camel . I guess they have private party here since some shaded area tables have reserved signs on them. Had such a blast with my little family today. Since my 10 month old was free, it wasn't a pricey trip for us. We heard about this farm on KSBJ and drove the hour to come check it out. Arriving early is definitely the best thing to do since you have first dibs on swings and slides. The petting zoo and giant slides were fun moments with the little one. There are a lot of fun activities for children to do so needless to say it's a farm tailored to families with young children. There are also a lot of cute places to take pictures among the pumpkins so I'd say that alone is worth the trip. We had no issues at all during our visit, thankfully. We enjoyed every moment and the staff were very friendly. Though I wish rates were lower for children, we do plan on coming back. read more

My friend and I drove an hour with 4 kids to check out Blessington farms. The reason I gave them two stars was based off an unpleasant experience. Let me start with the pros. $20 per person for anyone ages 2 or older. (Not too bad, but I recommend 1/2 price entry past 3:00 if you are going to shut down the whole place 30 mins before you actually close). Well, Blessington farms has some pretty cool activities for the kids. Aside from purchasing pumpkins, they can do a barrel race, swing/Zipline, giant slides, bouncy place and some more. Other than that, the experience was not so great. We arrive at 3:30 (we understand they close at 5), we were able to go on 2 attractions and decided to get some food. We were in line for 20 minutes with only 2 people in front of me. By the time we sat down to eat, it was 4:30. We figured we would enjoy our food at the picnic table and leave once we were done. As soon as I sat down with my food tray (3 hamburgers, 1 chicken nuggets, 2 fries, 3 hot dogs, 3 lemonades, 3 waters and 2 cokes) a gentleman approached us and said we had to leave. I told him we just got our food and sat down, are you serious? He replied, yes and that was that. We looked at the clock and it was only 4:30. We were not utilizing any attractions, we were just trying to eat. I just spent almost $100 at this food vendor (who did not notify me that we didn't even have time to eat but continued to sell to us anyways) and these people are rushing us out. We scarf down our food after being harassed two more times to leave and begin heading towards the exit line. When we get to the front, we wanted to take one last group picture (4:50pm) and the guy at the entrance is yelling out "NO PICTURES". We keep on walking and leave. This is absolutely absurd. If you kick everyone out at 4:30, change your business hours from 10-4:30. I read the owners response to someone who posted a bad rating stating that they only remove people from the rides/attractions at 4:30, but that's definitely not the case. People were being forced to exit the farm at 4:30. We will stick to Dewberry farm moving forward. I'd rather pay extra for better customer service. read more

Went to Blessington Farm for the 1st time today & it happened to be the last weekend they were open for the fall. It was very busy...lots of families with kids ranging from babies to older kids. Tickets were $18+ tax for adults & kids over 18 months old. All attractions are included in the ticket price except for the camel feeding, bird feeding & fishing. We purchased tickets online to avoid the wait. They give you a wristband so you can leave & come back the same day. Outside food & drinks are allowed but they also serve burgers, hotdogs, corn dogs, turkey leg, funnel cake & a few other items. Our 2.5 year old had fun on the big slides, sand hill, huge bounce pad (think of a bounce house but without the walls), barrel ride & tractor hay ride. I think our child would've enjoyed more of the activities if she was older. Burger & a child's handful of fries was $10 & a water bottle was only $1. The burger & fries were not worth $10 but you'll gobble it down if you're hungry. Our friend said the turkey leg was bland & definitely not worth $14. They have port-a-potties so keep that in mind before you chug any liquids prior to your arrival. The front entrance has some "nicer" port-a-potties with multiple stalls but it's still VERY cramped in there! My elbows were hitting the stall walls & you'll booty bump or elbow other ladies as you make your way to the sink to wash your hands & then squeeze your way out the door. I did notice a changing station inside one of the stalls but there's no way I'd attempt to change a squirming toddler in that tight space. My husband ended up walking to the car to change our kid's diaper. Pumpkin patches were a bit disappointing despite the various photo ops throughout the farm. I personally didn't think a rusty fence or window pane in the background of the pumpkins was cute but to each their own. May come back next year. If we do visit Blessington again then I will plan better & pack lunch. read more

This is one of the worst attraction farms I've visited in the Houston area by far. First of all, the staff there are a surly, unfriendly bunch. The most notable is a fellow with beady eyes and white mustaches who seemed to go out of his way to follow the minority visitors. Make of it what you will. The dirt road that we had to drive through to get to the farm is strewn with small, sharp pebbles that would fly every whichway when you drive through them. That probably did a number on my car's finish. Another unattractive part of the experience is they put their strawberries in pots which I thought defeats the experience of visiting a farm to pick them yourself. Their berries aren't even that good. Most were sour and I am pretty good at picking them. Some in my party had to run to the bathroom after eating their berries. On top of that, their strawberries are overpriced. We ended up paying around twenty dollars for two half full buckets! There are toddlers in our party their parents had planned on visiting the playground but decided against it after seeing the conditions of the "rides" most of which looked either decrepit or filthy. I would not recommend anyone who lives in Houston to make the long drive just for a dreary experience. There are other good attraction farms in the area. read more

We brought out daughter to see the strawberries and may pick a few. We arrived late and were completely aware that the "picking" was finished for the day. No problem what so ever! We did however want a quick picture of our 9 month old daughter in the fields. The staff was so rude that he said that it was "weird" for us to take a picture and even rolled his eyes at my wife. I think this farm is an excellent venue for a fall season pumpkin farm adventure. We are new to Texas and so used to seeing pop-up pumpkin patches in grocery store lots in other states we have lived in, but there was not one in sight here in Houston. I had to do an internet search for where families take their kids in Houston for pumpkin patch activities and fall photo opportunities. My search results resulted in 4 or 5 FARMS. So this is how it is done in Texas! I reviewed them all and selected Blessington Farms for our fall photos and pumpkin farm adventure, and it was a perfect choice. Blessington Farms is very family oriented with many vignettes set up for photo opportunities, petting zoo, slides, bouncy pillows, barrel train ride, pedal course, and great lemonade and food vendors. Things can get a little costly with the admission fee and buying refreshments and food, but when you only come here once or twice a year for seasonal adventures, in the long run it is worth the fun and smiles and memories. The October fee was $15 per person this year, but parking is free and almost all activities within the park are included for your enjoyment from then on, save for an extra dollar to feed some parrots or something if that is something you would want to do...also, there is a fee to purchase a pumpkin if you desire. All of the staff our family encountered were friendly, too, which was a plus. Guests were friendly, too, politely waiting each other's turn for photos, activities, and food and beverages as lines are not stantioned-off or monitored by employees. I plan to return again. It was a positive experience for our family. We look forward to returning to try their seasonal berry picking, too. read more
