The chips were crunchy and salted, while the salsa was actually spicy. Far too often, salsa has no spice, and this was fantastic. While we were waiting for our orders, we were offered the chance to order a taco, and I decided to try the carnitas taco. WOW. The flavor profile was insane. The carnitas were juicy, but the exterior was lightly smoked and toasty, which paired with the lime and toppings was very pleasant. My main was the Borrego Tatemado. It was phenomenal! The meat was very juicy, and the side sauce (Consomme) was some of the best I ever had. The restaurant does an amazing job of making this place feel like I am eating homemade food at a relative's.

I explained the situation, but he responded with a smirk, which felt mocking and made the situation even more uncomfortable. Additionally, the service overall was slow. We asked for water multiple times before ordering, during the meal, and even after finishing and it still took a long time for it to arrive. Unfortunately, this experience left a very negative impression, despite the setting.
