I would not recommend this business, There is no accountability if something goes wrong. As a 26 yr homeowner in the Seacliff HB area, I have always supported our local businesses first, women owned businesses in particular. Unfortunately this was not a good experience. During the consultation and estimating in my home, Gayle pushed a large heavy item out of her way when I went down to the garage to get her a stepstool. When I came back and noticed the deep scratch in my brand new floor installed the month prior, Gayle acknowledged it, apologized, and said she had someone who could fix it. A week later 2 workmen arrived and said they would have to come back, they didn't have the materials needed to do the repair. I never saw or heard from them again. I followed up with Gayle several times over the next few weeks by voicemail and text to let her know there was still no resolution. She replied she would follow up. I received another phone calls from a flooring company who said he was out of town that week but would call me Monday when he returned, no phone call, no resolution. I left a vm and text again for Gayle asking that this be taken care before we head into the holidays, no response at all. It's unclear if she carries insurance to cover this kind of incident, I didn't ask. It's now been months, what's clear is that we're headed into the holidays with no resolution and lots of entertaining on our calendar. I'm not looking forward to our friends and family asking,"What happened to your brand new floor?" when this could have been so easily and quickly resolved. I'm still in need of window treatment and have a few other projects underway until I find another company. Nice lady just very irresponsible. read more

We are more than thrilled with the finished product of Blinds Plus Designs. What a wonderful experience we had! Gayle and Scott were extremely friendly and professional. We just had shutters installed replacing VERY OLD vertical blinds. This was something we've been wanting to do for a long time. I googled looking for a local blinds company and Blinds Plus was one of the top 3. When I called Gayle she was very friendly and helpful with my questions and scheduled a consultation with me for a few days later. By the way she had just had surgery a short time before I contacted her and she still made time for me. The consultation went great. She did her measurements and gave me advice on what options to go with. We ordered our product that day and it was literally ready 12 days later (which is amazing). We then set up an install day less than a week later (factoring in the 4th of July holiday). The install took maybe 4 hours. Scott was wonderful! Gayle even came herself to help out! The product quality is awesome!! The price was literally HALF of what 3 Day Blinds wanted and they were 8 weeks out for install!!
