My friend and I went in for a mani pedi and made reservations. We were greeted, offered beverages and seated right away. Although the ambiance was a bit dated, the experience was very pleasant and the equipment was clean. Hana is my go to nail tech. However, whenever she is off, the other nail techs are always there to cover for her absence. Overall I give it a 5 because the people are always smiles. Their color selections are alot to take in. Mary does great with gel and dip powder. Her designs are outstanding and she doesnt rush. Cindy is my go to when it comes to hair. Shes done rebonding, hot oil and highlights for me. Loved all of them. Music plays in the background softy. Offers drinks readily. read more

Full set and pedicure in only 1 hour?! Highly recommend Cindy at Bliss Beauty and Spa! I haven't had a service this fast in awhile. Normally, I would wait 10 minutes for my appointment at any other salon but I called a few days ahead and was sat as soon as I walked in. Trying another nail salon out for the holiday artwork. I saw this place was highly rated. The nail artists were all busy with round the clock clients. It's a small salon on the edge of Milpitas before Fremont. After trying out different types of nail art, I found that I like simple art designs and I'm aware of the range the nail specialist can do with real nails. I wanted Ombre red with one nail drawn as a candy cane. Annie did a great job with the Ombre and the candy cane drawn on my 4th fingers. The time it took was approximately 2 hours and the cost was reasonable for the work that was put into it. I will come again for the best artwork on my nails compared to other salons I've tried. read more

After previous good experiences, after my last visit, I doubt I will come back. We made appointments for 2 pedicures at 10 am. We made sure to get there early to check in. Even with the reservations, we waited 40 minutes. I was just about to walk out when they finally seated me in a chair. The nail technician cut me 4 times. I literally yelped out loud and jerked my foot back because it hurt so bad. She didn't even put any antiseptic on the cuts. One cut took over two weeks to heal. There was a lady who they seated right before me. They had her sit in a chair and put her feet in the water. They left her there until they seated me, so she had her feet soaking for about 45 minutes. Personally, I wouldn't have waited that long. I'm sure her feet were all pruney. I'm bummed because I really liked Bliss, but when I get cut that many times, I never come back. read more

2 years later and I'm still coming here frequently! Had Cindy help me remove my precious acrylics and I went for Hailey Bieber nails this time, but with luxe French ombré. Cindy understood the assignment. Just look at the photo for her perfection. She's also very quick with it, although expect long waiting hours even if you call before hand and set up an appointment. (I waited an hour to get started, and another person after me waited almost the same time) My total was $80+tips. Worthy of the wait though for how easy it is to get any cute nail design done here. read more

I feel terrible to give bad reviews, but I was very disappointed to come here and be given the most horrifying acrylic removal I've ever experienced. For reference, the normal procedure to take off acrylic nails would be to file down the acrylic on the nail as much as possible, then to soak off the remainder in acetone as to not damage the healthy nail surface. It is NOT good to just peel the acrylic off directly. This information is common information I was told by every nail tech I've been to before. As soon as I sat down to be serviced, the person who was doing my nails cut the long acrylic down as short as possible, almost cutting into the quick of my nail. A little scary, but that was still "normal" procedure. Right after, the receptionist came up and started taking a nail tip out of the box and sticking it in between the my natural nail and the acrylic! The other nail tech followed in suit. One by one, they literally ripped off the acrylic from my nails. I was way too shocked and scared to say anything, but when they were finished, luckily I didn't suffer any serious injury other than my left thumbnail. In the picture with my review, you can see that when they clipped off the sides to get into the crevices between my nail and the acrylic, they cut deep into my nail where it meets the skin underneath. It still hurts and it bled a little. Afterwards, my nails were in horrible condition, with some layers of my natural nail peeled off. This is when they persuaded me I just needed a manicure to make it better again - not the case when my former nail techs soaked it off properly. They should look nice and healthy with no peeling layers. They filed my nails some more to remove all the peel-aways and slapped some polish on. Then charged me $35 for this whole service. They might be good at putting on acrylic, but please never ask them to take it off if they continue to do this. I will not be coming back here and will start to invest in tools to do my own soak offs. read more

I did a walk in at 5pm and was sat down right away. That was for the 2 stars. The nail tech who did my pedi was nice and did everything I asked. The other nail tech named Mary who did my mani was a bit rude and rushing. I told her I wanted natural short nails and not too thick. I repeatedly asked her to make them shorter and thinner. She kept saying "ok, I file for you, don't worry". I gave up.. left with thick, fat, and long nails. read more

10/10 recommend Cindy. She gave me exactly what I wanted, for the Hailey Bieber nails. I showed her a picture on Instagram and the formula of how to achieve it. Hailey uses OPI and powder for the extra shine. They don't have OPI products but Cindy was able to use powder to create the exact same base color and shine top coat (using chrome effect powder). She gave me an amazing metallic pink chrome color last time as well. Would definitely recommend her and this place might turn into my go to spot from now on. :) read more

I desperately needed to get my nails removed- it was up to that point where my hair was getting stuck on my nails (gross!). I Yelped the closest nail salon and Bliss Beauty and Spa was open and available for walk ins. I made sure to call beforehand just to make sure that I can be serviced right away and spoke with Katie. Katie was wonderful! Very easy going and almost convinced me to get my nails done (but I was taking a break). Katie was knowledgeable and informative on the difference between acrylic and dipped nails. I've only gotten dipped nails in the past so I'm excited to come back and get acrylics here. read more

I hate writing this review, especially because I wanted to support small businesses. I went to them to get my nails and pedicure done. The lady who did my pedicure was very polite and did a pretty ok job. While i was seated for pedicure, another lady came to start with my nails. She stood all the time and i simply do not know why was she so much in rush. She did most of nails standing without bothering if i was in a comfortable position or not. After a while my shoulder started paining as i had no support for my arm. I did not complain, expecting atleast the end result would be satisfactory. However after my nails were done, they are completely outof shape, they look weird! Please refer to the pictures. The inside of the nails is all flakey.. when i pointed this out to the lady, she literally got pissed. I am extremely disappointed, i really hope they read this and work on their service. read more

Dip manicure & gel pedicure First time trying this nail salon, I plan on coming back! All the ladies were friendly first and foremost. I asked for a Pearl set (kinda like Hailey Bieber's) and they did not disappoint! It took some trial and error to see what color combos worked out since this is considered a "chrome set" and we did not copy the exact same method used on Hailey Bieber. We initially tried a base layer of white with the chrome color on top and it actually looked slightly blue (this would look cute for a winter set) so we settled on just doing a layer of white chrome (not silver) and no white base-- and it came out perfect! The lovely lady who did my manicure is Tammy, I unfortunately didn't get the name of the lady who did my toes but she did a good job as well! read more

Do not come here If you want to keep your nails healthy! Came in for a manicure and the lady filed my nails down soooo thin they broke the next day!!! She only put one coat of clear gel polish and didn't even cover the whole nail. My nails bent where she didn't apply polish properly and broke because they were so heavily filed down with the machine. I've been to many salons and this has never happened before. I have natural strong nails that grow long so I never need to get acrylics, just gel polish and most of them are now broken and weak. read more

59 days later.... My nails never broke. I got them done on May 4th and had to get them removed on July 2nd. The glue came undone here and there, but I was super busy traveling for work and did not have time to visit the salon so I bought some nail glue to hold it together until I finally could get them done. I covered them with glitter nail polish to hide the fact that they were so over grown. AMAZING quality!!!! Refer to my original review for details! read more

I love coming to Bliss Beauty and Spa! They are always warm and welcoming! Vicky and Cindy take care of me every time I go. Vicki is excellent at pedicures and she takes her time making sure to remove excess skin and shape your toes the way you want it. Her foot massages are also the best! Every time I'm in her chair I'm having a good time just giggling with her. Cindy is the only person I go to for nails. She's been in the game for 15+ years and she knows exactly what she's doing. She brilliantly artistic and I've never seen her fail at a nail shape. She's quick because she's so experienced and she can do almost any design. You know when you see a nail design you really like and you're worried your nail artist can't do it? She can, and I can say that with 100% faith. I've gone through a lot of salons and nail artists and Cindy delivers every time. They also just remodeled their salon and it's so cute inside! So in love with my new set and I've definitely found my new place :) I came at 5:30 on a Wednesday so it was pretty quiet (which I personally loved) and I was immediately seen once I came in for my appointment. Cindy is super sweet and was very meticulous with her shaping, filing, buffing, etc. At one point during the final filing, my nail area on one hand was getting a bit irritated (not her fault - I had horrible cuticles and nail beds prior to coming in to my appointment). She immediately took a break on that hand, sprayed it to help cool it down, and switched over to the other hand. Many places will just keep going and ignore any irritation so I really appreciated this! She took her time with everything but was incredibly efficient - I was in an out of the salon within an hour! Super happy with the final set and it was very reasonably priced ($60 for this full set). 10/10 would recommend! read more

I have been to almost every salon in Milpitas over the last 10 years and this place is one of the best for the price and they are always adding options as they keep up with trends. I always book with Vi and have gone to her every month for the past 4 years for my mani and pedi. She is always on time and makes sure my nails look perfect and last forever! I moved to San Jose but still come here every month. I definitely recommend coming here and booking with Vi if you can! read more

Anna did an awesome job. $28 to pretty up my gnarly feet is a total steal! The color always lasts a long time and doesn't chip. With the exception of being away on travel, this is the only place I come to to pretty up my nails. I'll occasionally get my eyebrows threaded here as well. I highly recommend this place!

Toward the end, she was clearly rushing to take another customer, and I felt like she just wanted to finish with me as quickly as possible. The very next day, I also developed irritated, dry skin on my finger, which had never happened to me before. Very disappointing quality and customer service. I would not recommend this place.

The place is like any other nail salon but very spacious with high ceiling and big windows. 2nd visit: I came back for a pedicure with Rose recently, also very detailed and thorough. Had a great experience with her. Maybe the blue color I chose was still good but my sister, who got the classic white pedicure, said her paint already chipped by the she got home from work that night. The top coat wasn't holding up well. There was a new employee that day so I give them grace but she was not professional and need to be trained with the same TikTok lounge skills & manners! Overall still a good nail salon to go to.

This was the worst nail shop I ever been to in my life. The service was poor, unprofessional, overpriced, and the experience overall seemed borderline racist. Me and my friend came here as a second choice because our first pick was overbooked. We came in on a Saturday afternoon and there was only one nail tech and one customer. We seen this as a red flag but we though we give them a chance anyways. The owner had to call for a second nail tech to come to the shop and assist us. I got acrylic nails and a gel pedicure, which is only $45. They claimed they could not do my first design for my acrylic nails because they did not have the glitter that I wanted, so I had to improvise as we went along. The nail tech was extremely rude to me and made quite a few offensive comments as I was being serviced. It was written on her face before she started on my nails that she did not want to take me. She assumed I didn't have enough money to pay for my nails and told me to ask my boyfriend for more money, she was pressed for time because she had a sick child at home. She kept telling me she doesn't have all day to work on my nails but we waited 45 minutes to an hour for her to arrive. She did not fix my nail when I asked her to reshape it, she made my nails way too thick, and clumpy, and the glitter Ombre looks awful. My nail began to chip the next day. One nail broke after 72 hours. I was extremely disappointed and I'm embarrassed to say I ended up paying $155 for nails I do not like and to be talked down to for no reason as I was getting them done. I will never come here again.

When I first went here, my nails were hideous. When the pandemic happened, the place I used to go to in San Jose closed, so I stopped getting my nails done. After about two years, I started to get them done again. I tried three different shops however had no luck with the gel polish. It would not last a week, and one of the shops cut the side of the toenail, which hurt my toe for weeks until it grew out. (Update) I'm so sad, I just found out Tammy is no longer at Bliss Beauty and Spa, I will need to find a new nail tech/shop) I've been to Bliss Nail Spa three times and now get polish over my natural nails. The last two times got my nails done by Tammy. Tammy does a fantastic job. She cleans up the cuticles very nicely. The shape Tammy created for my nails is square with rounded corners, which I love. When she massages your feet and hands, she's got a firm grip. It feels so good, as if you were going to one of those massage places. She does a great job on the mani-pedi; it lasts a month. I only have to get them redone because my nails have both grown out of the polish. I'm very impressed with her work. Typically, I always have my nails short; however, they have grown since I've been getting them done with Tammy. I think I will let them grow long now because they look so pretty. I'm attaching pictures of what they look like after growing out. I got them done on September 17th, and today is October 15th, and they still look great, aside from growing out. I know I shouldn't wait this long, but the polish lasts so long. I will post better picture the next time I get them done. I found my new mail location and manicurists. Thanks Tammy! read more

Michelle is my # 1 go-to lady! I always go to her for facials, waxing, lash lift and mani& pedi. Yes, I have tried other ladies/salons but she is so far the best! FACIAL: an amazing job! She gives great relaxing facial massage with her super soft hands. My skin always feels clean, smooth, radiant and importantly no red after! WAXING: I have sensitive skin which can be easily burnt but no problem when she does it! It's not even red after. She's very careful! LASH LIFT: THE BEST I have had so far! I can choose different styles of lash lift which I didn't get from other ladies/salons. My lashes look amazingly great no matter what style I choose! It lasts about 11-12 weeks! I would strongly recommend her MANI/ Pedi: I get my gel mani/regular pedi every 4 weeks! I could go 5 weeks without nail polish chipping/ lifting! I used to get fancy nail designs from her but she doesn't do it anymore because she's so busy :( If you need these services, call and make an appointment with her! Mary and Sunny were absolutely amazing! They did a fantastic job on my sisters' and my nails, and the whole experience was so enjoyable. They were both incredibly nice, talkative, and made us feel so comfortable. It felt more like chatting with friends than just getting our nails done! Cindy is the best!!! I have been going to her for over 10 years. I drive all the way from Palo Alto and it's worth every mile. She does my nails as if they are her own. Hannah was ready to do my nails immediately when I'm done with the haircut. She was able to get to all the edge and crevices. Very professional. I clean my cuticles and file my own nails almost everyday and she was still able to get a bunch of dead skin off of me. The gel manicure costed $30 which is very reasonable. My mom also got a pedicure from Hannah with regular nail polish for $27. The service was quite speedy even though their chairs were almost full. We will be coming back to Hannah whenever we are in the area. Highly recommended.
