The salon is modern and clean and I love the massage chairs; they even offer refreshments. They have a pretty wide selection of colors, especially if you prefer pinks/nude colors. Just wanted to share an update I'm obsessed with my nails The color and shape are flawless. When I first came in from a previous nail salon, my nails were in really bad shape. Ever since I started coming here, my natural nails have grown so long, healthy, and strong. The difference is unbelievable. I came in for a full set and was immediately impressed by how clean and nice the salon was. Check in was done through a touchscreen where you select the service and nail style you want. A receipt prints out, and you hold onto it until it's time to pay. I was seen right away, which I appreciated. I showed the nail tech a photo of the look I wanted, a milky nude to white ombré. She came close, though I wish the white had been a bit clearer. Still, she did a decent job overall, and it's rare to find someone who can truly match your vision. My receipt listed $60 for the ombré overlay, but when it was time to pay, I was told there was an additional $15 charge for the ombré. That was confusing since I had selected everything correctly during check in. The place is definitely on the pricier side. While it was a nice experience to try once, the inconsistent pricing is a dealbreaker for me. I'll be going elsewhere next time. read more

I was nervous to try out The Nail House after the closure of Pink n Nails, but i'm so glad I took the chance. Their customer service, interior decor, and ambiance is great. I booked an online appt via the link in their instagram bio which made the process super convenient. I went in for a fill with Brian who was very nice and thorough with his work. He checked in with me throughout the appt to ensure I liked the shape, length, color & design of each nail before completing the set. I paid $110 including tip which wasn't bad given the amount of time and effort that went into each nail. Overall, I def recommend! read more

Came in last Saturday. My daughter got a full set of gelx nails. He was pushy on the gelx; I honestly didn't ask if it was more expensive than acrylic. It was her birthday gift, so I was ok with splurging. They told us they have a guarantee if anything happens to the nails. We went in today because one chipped and one fell off. There was miscommunication and the female employee who was assigned to my daughter became frustrated with her and passed her off to the male technician after a frustrated "ugh!" And no explanation as to why she would no longer help her. Then the male technician was explaining to his client what was happening with my daughter and my daughter felt like they were trying to make her look like a Karen. The client he was helping even said "did she leave yet?" Thinking my daughter had left after they moved her seat. My daughter just wanted to walk out of there. All because.... 1. When she sat down we all understood that they would fix the missing and broken nail. 2. Then, My daughter asked if they could shorten her nails. The lady agrees and after making one shorter then tells her well I can only shorten the ones without the gems. If I shorten the one with gems I'd have to take it off and put a new nail because you can't file gems down and I'm going to charge you 30-40. I wasn't will to pay that to replace 2 nails, so I told my daughter to keep the length. The thing is, this could've all been prevented if the first nail tech would've explained that from the beginning; not after the fact. I already had to go out of my way to take her back for a missing nail and cracked nail that were put on 7 days ago; only to make us feel like Karens. read more

I came into The Nail House as a walk in for a mani pedi and was seated in about 15 minutes which was super quick. Although I was lucky, I'd definitely recommend making an appointment since it gets busy and they do prioritize those with reservations. Brian did my manicure and Cici did my pedicure and both were amazing. I got Gel X for my mani and Brian gave me a bunch of suggestions on what would look best for the wedding I'm going to. I'm a classic person so I usually stick to a simple French design, but I noticed they had so many other designs and options to choose from if you like to be creative with your nails. Brian also coordinated the timing with Cici so I wouldn't have to wait around between services which I really appreciated. Cici was quick with her hands but still so detail oriented. She did my French pedi and made sure the lines were even, and I loved that she didn't hesitate to redo anything she wasn't happy with. You can tell she takes pride in her work and it showed. On top of that, the staff here is extremely friendly and the service is really thoughtful. They asked what temperature I wanted the water for my foot soak and even checked if I needed water while I was getting everything done. It made the whole experience relaxing and enjoyable. This location used to be Pink N Nails, where I went for many years. The new ownership remodeled, but kept the basis the same. I like the new space and they always have so many nail technicians available. It's still one of the most convenient nails salons in the area for me. It's large and accommodating. It took me a few visits before I decided on one or two nail techs that I like, which is always hard when getting nails down anywhere. When you find someone who can do your nails well, you stick with them for as long as you can! Pricing is always good, but I've only ever gotten an acrylic fill here; very standard and not overpriced like other places. They offer water and soft drinks which has always been a nice touch. Check them out if you ever need to get your nails done. They're very modern, especially with their online booking that makes things so much easier than having to call and ask for prices over the phone. 10/10 service and quality. read more

This is the second time i come here, the first time i feel like i got a good price, there was no wait and the aesthetic was nice. I did my eyebrows and French tip gel manicure all for $90. Those nails lasted me the whole month! That's how good they worked on them, that's why i felt like the price was good. This time around, i only got a French tip gel manicure which cost $60 + any added tip. The lady was nice so i gave her $15 tip after she was done. However, my nails didn't even last 1 day and the paint on one of the nails chipped! I got them done on Wednesday cus I needed them for the weekend and had no time to back to get it fixed cus the holidays came in fast. The weekend comes and the other nails chipped! This has never happened to me with gel nails! At least not the first two weeks. Needless to say, i don't think i can go back after this incident. The price isn't worth it to me nor the quality. Added note, my nails were pretty long and she filed them pretty short, something else i didn't like, and all my nails were abt the same length. I also took my grandma to get her pedicure done and when they were done they didn't tell her she was good to go or if she needed anything else; they didn't even offer her anything to drink. Idk, i felt like it was just terrible service. I've taken my grandma to other spots and all the other spots have always been very friendly and helpful to her, i didn't feel that here. read more

I love how modern this establishment looks compared to some of the other nail spas here in Milpitas! The nail techs and the owners here are also sweet, accommodating, and welcoming. honestly, my experience was okay overall as I chose to get both gel manicure/gel pedicure per usual. Three stars: The only thing I'd suggest for the massage during the pedi is to make sure you're paying attention to the customer during this time - the massage is a substantial part of relaxation aside from getting it cleaned up. Basically, my nail tech did massage me but she would stop, slow down, then stop again to look around or to talk to the other nail tech who was doing my nails. However, my toes looked great but I would've enjoyed it more if she thoroughly massaged me too. The other nail tech who did my nails did a good job with shaping but she didn't ask me what color I wanted for my nails and randomly chose a color for me. She also tried doing a French tip - that's obviously when I stopped her because I never asked for this. She didn't remove the pink color tone she initially applied first either but did apply the sheer tone polish (what I chose) over it. Luckily, I ended up liking how the colors looked together anyway but it wasn't smooth looking. Another thing too is that, my previous gel polish wasn't completely removed as I could still see some of the residue under the new nail color. *Unfortunately, I didn't notice this until I got home* The owner did ask me at the end of my services if everything was okay and truthfully, yes the experience was just okay until I started looking at my nails thoroughly later on during the day. read more

Horrible!! The nail tech cut off the entire nail on my little toe. She didn't apologize-just pressed on my toe to try to stop the bleeding. Didn't bother to alert the manager either. So I'm guessing this must be a regular thing. When I told the manager his first response was very disheartening. He bent down to inspect my toe and then asked i had artificial nails on my toes. Wow!! My toe was still bleeding, and that was the best he could come up with. He called the nail tech over and they talked between themselves. Since I could not understand what they were saying it was probably about me since they didn't include me in the conversation. Afterwards he offered a trite apology and a $15 discount. Really!!?? That's the discount for a mutilated toe?! I, on the other hand had to spend over $30 on Betodine, Neosporin and bandages. Whatever you have to do... drive a little further... spend a little more... pick another day... just don't risk your safety at this place. I will NEVER-EVER come here or recommend this place to anyone. read more

I've been here twice so far and have had my nails done by both Brian and Cici. Both sets came out so pretty and I've received so many compliments so far. I appreciated both of their attention to detail. During my first visit in June, my nails were sensitive and fragile, but Cici had recommend the builder gel as it is less harmful to the nails in comparison to acrylic. For my second visit, I had scheduled an appointment for builder gel as well but Brian was persistent of me doing gel x. After overhearing his conversation with another nail tech, it seemed as though he was more comfortable with gel x instead of builder gel. I came to this salon since it was close by and the reviews were mostly positive. Booking an appointment online was easy, and I liked they had a lot of color options. There is ample parking and the space looks pretty nice. However, they lose 3 stars because of the wait time and manicure quality. I needed a gel manicure and I was able to book the appointment easily online on their website. However, when I got there, I had to wait an extra 40 minutes before someone was available. And the place wasn't even super busy. I wouldn't have minded the wait, but they didn't offer me any beverages to make up for keeping me waiting. So that's one star deducted there. During the manicure, the lady nicked my fingers twice while working on my cuticles. I was bleeding even after I left the salon. She tried to stop the bleeding, but she didn't apologize and it was really painful! It's been over a day later and the cuts still hurt. I've never been cut to the point of bleeding when getting a manicure before, so this was just frustrating. I doubt I'll be coming back in the future. read more
