i really do like the service and Alma who did it before did an awesome job which kept me coming. I found out she no longer works there and well...it went down hill from here. Now, Fatima(?) is a whole different story.. i think i stopped coming here after she kept going thinner and thinner on my brows. my friend (a guy) wanted to get a quick clean up and she gave him a high arch on one side..and went normal on the other (I laughed every time i saw him) sorry :( my eye brows were never clean and neatly trimmed like i had them before with alma, who did my first service.. this one left strays very thin eye brows uneven arches..and more strays.. i had asked her to clean them and my eye brows just got thinner -_-;; and the strays were still there.. after 2x more i figured i should stop before my eyebrows become something that looks like it can be drawn with a sharpie... The final time she was just pinching at the skin over and over and over....not the hair but the skin..and still left the strays -_- (sigh) even after asking her to remove them... (maybe its a language barrier).. i feel a bit ripped out she didnt even bother to put the cooling lotion or aloe on them and just had me pay right after..thank you for the burning sensation in my brows :) i regret tipping yah. i now avoid the place when i know shes working there.. read more

I came here to do my eyebrows at this location for the first time because it's only two blocks from my house. I told her I wanted to keep my eyebrows as thick as they were, just cleaned up with the same arch shape I already had, she literally finished in a minute and I looked at my eyebrows and they were incredibly thin and the shape had been changed, she saw how unhappy I was and still rushed me out when another customer came in. I shouldn't have paid or should've been offered some type of discount or something because I truly wasn't happy now I'm waiting for my eyebrows to grow back to how they were before, never again. Should have found out how to spell her name, but Khusie was great. Love my brows, easy parking (in LA?!) in a lot out front, and way more painless than Threadbar on the Westside. I did find a couple of red spots under my eyebrow once I left (like pulled hairs that bled?)... I don't think I've ever had that happen from threading, but it went away in a few days. I've been getting threaded here for a few months and overall really enjoy this business. The technicians are always polite, efficient, and meticulous. The price is great for the area and they have a loyalty card as well. My only criticism is that they don't hold true to hours, often closing early which is incredibly frustrating when I am trying to get there after work. This is my go to threading salon but the owner seriously needs to get her act together. I am sitting outside at 11.10am - 3rd time I have showed up and they don't show up! Horrible inconvenience and service. Some of the staff are great...but terrible management and customer service (oh did I mention the phone doesn't work most of the time? Yep). Overall they do a really good job at this place. Khushi does an amazing job with my eyebrows and she's fixed my shape perfectly! I give 4 stars only because for a while there was another lady that worked here (I don't remember her name) and she messed up my left brow and the shape was off. I went back another day and Khushi was back and she fixed my brows now they both look the same and have a great arch as I wanted :) Besides that the place is really clean and you can ask for a stamp card so the 10th (I think) eyebrow threading is free. The threading service is reasonable cost and def cheaper than some of the other threading places in the area. This is def my go to eyebrow threading place! read more

I'm torn about this place! After (mostly) good reviews I decided to give it a go, since it's on my home home from work. I saw they closed at 6 and got there around 5:20. I was happy when I saw they had a lot and found a spot right away. As soon as I walked in the woman working told me to sit in the second chair. I told her that I just wanted my brows touched up, no shaping. She said ok and got to work. She threaded super fast and harsh. The lady I usually go to is very gentle and takes her time so I wasn't used to this type of threading. She also kept having me hold my eye up which I dont have to do the whole time at other places. She literally finished in three minutes, so I was worried they didn't look good. I asked if she had something to remove the powder/gel in my brows so I could see what they truly looked like. She gave me some toner and i did it myself but the toner didn't take everything off so I didn't see what my brows looked like until I got home. They're not terrible but I would just appreciate if the woman would have taken her time and made me feel welcome. The whole thing felt rushed. For $10 it's an alright option but I'll probably look for another place. read more

This is the first time I am writing a review I visited this place last week to get my eyebrows done. It is a walking distance away from my house so I thought I'd try it out after reading the reviews and seeing that it had 4.5/5 stars. I was very disappointed with my visit. As soon as I got there, the technician (don't know her name) seated me without greeting me. All she did was direct me to the chair. It seemed like she was in a bad mood or maybe she doesn't smile in general (bitter). Anyways, right after being seated she started threading my eyebrows. She did it in such a rush, it felt more like she wanted to do it as quick as possible to get it out of the way. She even left several (tiny) cuts underneath my eyebrow- no wonder it was so PAINFUL! I had involuntary tears running down my cheeks! I'm not saying that getting your eyebrows done should be painless BUT I've had my eyebrows done at several other places and this place by far was the most painful! ON TOP OF THAT she managed to thread a chunk of my eyebrow off, leaving a small but noticeable "hole" on the side of my eyebrow! I usually leave tip but I was so disappointed with the service and result that I paid the $10 and almost left running! Sadly, I will NOT be returning here ever again. Not sure if the rest of these reviews are fake but I definitely did not have a great experience and did not get a good impression :( the reviews did not match my expectations However, the place is in a good area and looks clean! Giving an extra star only because she did an "okay" job on shaping my eyebrows. Overall, I wouldn't recommend it. There are plenty of better places in LA.
