It's next to a nice restaurant, by the water and a bike path and is just a great location. It's run by a wonderful family and you can tell that a lot of love and pride go into it. She stocks all things you can't really get at the supermarket... dried fruits, gourmet chips, various sparkling drinks, high end tea and coffee, quality chocolate... you get the idea. I'm not sure how she does it because the prices are reasonable for what you get. The locals tell me that New Bedford has needed a place like this downtown for a while.
