This is the only my place I would take my precious eye brows to get cleaned up. TJ has shaped my eye brows just they I want it and perfectly shaped for many many years. She's very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. Even though I've moved to Hilo, I will still come and see TJ when I need my eyebrows done. Followed TJ here from the waxing co for my brow threading and she is the best. Friendly, competent and listens to what you want before starting. Never pushes you and always checking in to see if you are satisfied with her work. Which I always am! Always did my own brows in the past but now I trust her to make sure I'm not permanently looking skeptical with one eyebrow raised bc I messed up overplucking. Her new place is lovely and modern inside and she makes booking and rescheduling appts super easy online. If you've been wondering where TJ from The Waxing Co. has been, look no further! It turns out that our lovely esthetician has been hard at work opening up her own beauty salon: Beauty Logic. As the company name implies, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to know when someone is a natural in their craft. TJ is one of those lucky individuals and better yet, she is knowledgeable and professional but always takes into consideration the needs and wishes of her clients. She always ensures that you have all of your questions answered, are comfortable, and is always a step ahead of you when it comes to your beauty goals. And while this is only my second time seeing TJ, I know that when it comes to all things brows and waxing, she will always be the first person I call. Unlike The Waxing Co. where you only got a sense of TJ when you were at your appointment with her, Beauty Logic perfectly encompasses what TJ is all about in terms of business and personality. The interior has a very homey aesthetic with pastel colors, minimalist designs and furniture, and an open space that allows for clients to get settled in before their appointment. They also have water and tea on the side for guests as well as a wide variety of reading material. Overall, even if you've never had your brows or any services done by TJ, I highly recommend her because she succinctly fuses professionalism, charm, and a fresh perspective on all things beauty. Lash lift review - first time coming here, by a referral from a friend. TJ and her staff have to be some of the sweetest in the beauty world, very down to earth which made for a pleasant experience overall. I've had a lash lift once before elsewhere, which didn't turn out to be the best experience - there was an optional photo waiver (allowing photos to be taken) which I opted out of then was told I had to sign it for 'insurance purposes'. She took 15,000 pics then of course my lashes ended up turning out weird and crimped 15 mins after I left, on the drive home. When I asked about it the business owner sent me pics she took showing she did the process correctly, and said she had "never experienced this issue". Ugh. Anyway, @ Beauty Logic pictures weren't even mentioned (!!) which I felt showed a lot about the integrity of the business and their practices. Brows need love too. I sought out TJ at Beauty Logic when I saw the incredible transformations on her Insta feed. I went in for a microblading consultation. As someone who doesn't like to spend a lot of time getting ready, I am always looking for ways to tighten up my beauty routine. Brows seem to be taking the longest these days, and I am totally down for something that will save me time while looking as natural as possible. If you're like me you've probably seen a lot of the old school permanent brows around, which are just too artificial looking for my taste. Microblading is a newer and more aesthetically pleasing alternative which uses fine strokes to deposit pigment under the skin, mimicking brow-like hairs for a more natural result. TJ was very clear about what microblading entails, and explained that it will require some post-procedure down time and care for a few weeks. I decided to wait until I have a good chunk of time to devote to this but meanwhile, opted for a temporary solution with brow tinting using Henna. TJ explained that it is a newer option that she began offering recently, and that results vary with each client. For instance, those with oilier complexions may not have as good a result because the Henna may not adhere to the skin for as long a period. I decided to try it out anyway, being that my skin is not very oily in my forehead area. The process took just 30 minutes. May I say that upon initial viewing, I was a bit shocked, but after a day or two I was very pleased with the results. I would say the Henna lasted for almost 2 weeks of brow bliss! I didn't have to fill in my brows and shaved off about 5 minutes of glam up time. I was sold. Since then, I've been back twice for retouches and will continue to until I'm in a good place to have the microblading done. I noticed that lash lifts are another service that TJ provides, and the results on her Insta feed were pretty incredible. I am not a fan of lash extensions, and while I can certainly appreciate and understand their convenience, I don't like their artificial appearance, especially when they're grown out and make the eyes look droopy, and the risk of infection (I'm a stickler for proper eye hygiene and would just die if I can't wash my eyes every day) gives me creepy chills. TJ looked at my lashes and said I have enough length that it shouldn't be a problem (not to fear, even people with shorter lashes can benefit from lash lifts under TJ's expert care!), so I made an appointment. The process takes just about 1.5 hours, most of which is spent arranging the lashes on a small rod to ensure evenness and just the right amount of lift. I was a little apprehensive about the solution causing me issues, but it was so gentle and didn't bother me one bit. Wow. Even after seeing all the before and after photos, I was so stunned when TJ handed me the mirror and I saw what magic she had done! My lashes looked so long and felt so natural. They were expertly spaced and really opened up my eyes. I was ah-mazed! My sister noticed right off the bat when she saw me and couldn't believe they were my real lashes. I was so pleased with the results that, of course, I will go back once my lift needs to be refreshed. (the lift typically lasts between 4-6 weeks). Shave another few minutes off getting face-ready, check! TJ is friendly, gentle, knowledgeable, always ensures my comfort, and explains everything thoroughly. Her treatment room is cheery, very clean, and comfortable. Aside from brow and lash services, she offers a wide variety of waxing services for almost every body part. My first time being here and I loved it! I found her through yelp and decided to give it a shot since the person who normally did my eyebrows was totally MIA. As soon as you book an appointment online(super convenient!) , TJ sends a confirmation text then very detailed directions on how to get to her place and where to park. Also if you needed to ask questions then you could just shoot her a text or call. When you enter her place it gives off a very calming home feel. It's very clean & you can tell she takes care her place. TJ was very nice and professional! She would ask about how I liked my eyebrows shaped & went through every step that she was going to do then would make sure that I was doing okay & if I needed a break it'd be totally cool. She also takes the time to make conversation & plays music in the background so it doesn't feel so awkward in silence. $25 which is including tax for eyebrow threading is very reasonable &!I loved my experience here with my eyebrow threading and definitely going to be coming back :) read more

I am big on quality of service and have had my share of regrets from other providers but TJ is definitely the best I have ever encountered. I've known TJ for several years when she started off at the Wax Company and had the awesome idea to open Beauty Logic!! I know expertise when I see and experience it...which is way TJ has a patron for life! Although it is a drive for me...I'd rather go the extra miles (literally) for the services TJ provides than to settle for less with any other provider who I have done in the past and was left disappointed of outcome.
