I enjoyed the friendly attentive staff and Ashley's professionism and cuts (obviously as I returned several times). Hearing that Ashley had transfered to Bee Cave/Lakeway I went ahead and made an appointment there yesterday (Wednesday April 30 at 10am). I was told Ashley had upped her price by $10 in an advanced email prior to my appointment. The email also stated that any NO SHOW of my appointment would result in a 50% charge on my credit card on file. The total drive from my home to Wild Orchid was over 45 minutes. Upon arriving a few minutes before my appointment time, I was greeted by at least 3 people offering me something to drink, which was greatly appreciated for the customer service. But after waiting for nearly 10 minutes for Ashley to show, I left because Ashley didn't call, text or notify anyone anything about her NO SHOW. And still today, I have yet to hear of any apology or excuse as to why she didn't show or call. Not a word from management either. I should expect a 50% refund from my last appointment. Neither was I offered a included hair wash with any of my previous appointments that I was unaware it came with the cost of the cut. I thought I'd found the one stylist I could depend on to do my hair the way I wanted and was willing to travel over an hour and 15 minutes round trip to get. But I will NOT be going back to Ashley nor Wild Orchid for anything UNLESS they make this right. So far, I've heard nothing.

I have used Taylor as my personal hairstylist and recommended her to my friends for about two years. On July 10, I came to her to do a copper hair color. In photo one, you will see that I left her salon looking like an actual show clown. My hair was giving Haley Williams early 2010's -- when that only looks good on her. I told her how I felt and she said she would redo it. Once redone, the color was perfect!!! Until I washed it. All of the color fell out, and I was left with splotchy misshapen hair (photo two). She apologized and said she would fix it again. So I came back yesterday. I followed up 8/25 to ensure no damage would be done to my hair for getting three rounds of color in 2 months. She assured me nothing would go wrong. But after I left her for the third time, there were 6 colors in my hair and my hair was breaking off/felt like straw. I have seen 5 stylists in person to get opinions on my hair and they all have assumed I did it myself in my home. I paid a PREMIUM PRICE $600+!!!!!!!!! To have mismatched discolored hair breaking off my head. I requested a refund (and would have accepted 50%) to which she responded offering me $100 (not even 1/6 of what I paid). This is literally a slap in the face. After going back and forth for a few hours, she blocked me on everything and never refunded me. I would not recommend this stylist to my worst enemy. She is disrespectful, unprofessional and lacks the level of skill she charges for.

I went to the most expensive salons thinking they could cut, color and style my hair better than other salons. Nope! I am so glad I found Taylor six years ago! She works weekends and will even make special arrangements on Sunday for existing clients. I'm high maintenance and she goes out of her way to make sure every detail is done such as protecting my hairline using lash brushes and skin protection at all my appointments. She managed and taught other hair stylists at another salon before starting her own company. All of her former employee stylists consulted with her on color and she was the go to stylist to fix someone's hair from another salon. Over the years, I've seen her work on thick coarse hair like mine to platinum blondes. I highly recommend Taylor for any color, cut, blow outs and more.
