Dr Juan Torres Is the Best Chiropractor I've had And I've had many also love the percussion therapy

I can't recommend Dr Bloch and Dr Neally enough! My high school athlete daughter had been undiagnosed for close to 10 months and she continued to suffer from dibilitating lower back pain. After several specialists, MRI's and Xrays we still didn't have an answer. A friend recommended we see Dr Neally for possible pain relief. Within 5 days of seeing Dr Neally we not only had a diagnosis but we were scheduled to see a neurosurgeon (Dr Bloch went out of her way to contact him and present our case). We are finally scheduled to have the necessary surgery and are looking forward to healing my daughters injury so that she can go back to a normal life. Thank you to Dr Neally and Dr Bloch! HUGE thanks to Dr. Marco Ruvalcaba!!!! For as long as I can remember, I Had zero mobility in my hips. Always thought that I just wasn't flexible. My wife has been trying to get me to go to the chiro. I always shut it down. Even with no mobility and my back always hurting, I just didn't think it would help as much as she said. Was I wrong!!! Besides my hip and my back.... I have vericose veins on my left left leg and really bad swelling and bruising on my left inner ankle. Again, all things I thought I just had to live with. Marco took a look at all my problems and right away knew i was in bad shape. He explained everything in detail to me as to why I was this way and explained it in a way I could understand. After 45 mins of stretching and working out my hip flexors I felt a lot better..... but with In the next week, it was crazy!!! My bruised ankles we practically gone!!! My vericose veins were still there but no where near as visible as before and my hip mobility was 10x better. I went back a month later to check in, get some more stretching in and even Marco couldn't believe how well my body reacted to the stretching. I started therapy almost a year ago and it's been a long road but because of him and Dr. Bloch seeing the issue, sending me to the right doctor, and the dedicated therapy I was able to play water polo and bike like I used to. Our daughter is a competitive gymnast and is a patient of Dr. Bloch and her team. Our daughter has done chiropractic, percussion, magnetic and hyperbaric therapies at the practice. During recovery and rehab from an injury, Dr. Bloch went above and beyond by communicating and coordinating with medical specialists that were providing care to our gymnast. I began having pain in my left knee about 4 years ago. I am a lifelong athlete and I believe that I may have simply worn it out. When I went to my then-orthopedic doctor, he told me that I would soon need a knee replacement. As soon as he said that, the inner voice in my head said, "Oh heck no!" so I began the journey of looking for alternative treatments to extend the life of my knee. I tried several treatments and then my new orthopedic doctor recommended that I seek out Active Release Therapy from a certified doctor. I did my research and found Dr. Bloch. From the first time I saw her I felt immediately comfortable with her and with her entire staff. Everyone was friendly, personable, and professional. Dr. Bloch did an evaluation of my knee and I began regular treatments with her. After just a couple of visits with her I noticed a huge improvement! Then she recommended Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy. I believe that when we go to a doctor whom we trust, and the doctor recommends other strategies or therapies, then it's important to try whatever the doctor recommends. Between the Hyperbaric Chamber and Dr. Bloch working on my knee, I've experienced amazing progress to the point where I now have almost full range of motion of my knee and my pain is virtually non-existent. Before going to Bloch Chiropractic I was very weary of chiropractors in general. I had been doing a lot of driving and my lower back as screaming at me. My Dad recommended the practice and I got an appointment with Dr. Neally. She was amazing! I explained to her my pain and my past history of lower back injuries. I want to begin by saying that I've had lower back pain for years and years. When I finally couldn't endure the pain any longer and my full marathon training in jeopardy, my wife insisted that I go see Dr. Bloch. She was recently referred to Dr. Bloch from a friend and couldn't stop singing her praises. So, I reluctantly set up a first meet. I had to get x-rays taken first, at Dr. Bloch's insistence. When I finally did, Dr. Bloch understood immediately why I was in such pain. Dr. Bloch had to attend a medical conference, but she was adamant that I address my pain and see Dr. Neally. The questions that Dr. Neally asked during our initial examination, and the length she went to try and understand my problem were something I hadn't experienced with a Dr. before. They actually care about their patients' well being and want to get to the root of the problem. I walked out of my first visit feeling like a new man! Years and years of pain, I found relief in one session! For someone who resisted seeing a chiropractor, I am now a believer. I love this place!! Michelle Lynch has been my personal trainer for several years. She is always upbeat, professional and very motivating. I'm not always a fan of working out but she always makes it more fun. Recently I was having problems with my leg and Advil and ice didn't help at all. Michelle suggested I try percussion. I've had back issues for the better part of my life and hadn't seen a chiropractor for quite some time. The chiropractor I used to see retired and I haven't felt comfortable with anyone else since. The staff is also very professional and courteous. Dr. Torres was very pleasant, professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Where do I start.... I've been seeing Dr. Bloch and her colleagues for about 4 years now, for a variety of issues I've had. I've never been disappointed. Consistently, after my treatments, I've felt like they have addressed the cause of my issues. This wellness center really is the best! They are very hands on for all situations (basic to complex) and use a variety of techniques to help patients. I have been a patient for 2+ years. Most recently beginning in January 2017 when I injured my knee skiing. I knew if anyone could help me recover without surgery it would be Dr. Karen Bloch. Turns out, my knee injury was severe and even Dr. Bloch couldn't help me avoid surgery. But she referred me to Dr. Michael Pahl at Long Beach Memorial Orthopedic Group for reconstructive surgery, who I also recommend. Both before the surgery and now afterwards, I have gone to Bloch Chiropractic for cryosauna treatements to help reduce swelling and inflamation, soft tissue massage, percussion and cupping to help release muscles and scar tissue, muscle activation technique to wake up muscles from inactivity of crutches, hyperbaric chamber for enhanced healing and PT to regain mobility and strength. Dr. Bloch has assembled a great team of doctors that are focused on helping patients recover, not just achieve temporary relief. Staff and interns are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful! I have seen nearly all the doctors during my recovery and am happy to recommend all of them! Today was my first visit to Bloch Chiropractic and it was awesome!! As a professional track and field athlete just transitioning out of college, I am used to being surrounded by a particular environment. Out of college, it is toooottally different. Visiting Bloch Chiropractic was like a breath of fresh air. Everyone is extremely experienced and knowledgeable. They explain the techniques to you, why they do it, and what results you will experience. They each have a unique background, such as Erika who played Water Polo collegiately and internationally with the US team. Dr. Bloch has worked with several track and field Olympians and was on staff at the 2008 and 2012 Olympics. Their experience and passion truly shines through. I also worked with Diane who did MAT for the first time on me and while the process is subtle, the results definitely are not. Great experience and I'm excited to go back to try out the Chryo machine! Also, the environment is extremely comfortable and welcoming.
