I was there last Saturday with a wedding group of about 9. All of us had make up and hair done. One stylist did a fabulous job on two of our party. The ladies looked great and their hair stayed in as long as they wanted to leave it up. Another lady in our group liked her hair initially, but a few hours later it started to fall, and it ultimately just sagged lower and lower until she had to take it out. Luckily it lasted through the wedding and most of the reception. Another lady had to ask her stylist to do her hair over because the first time it was put up it just looked terrible. The second time was much better and it stayed in. The other ladies were happy with theirs. Then it was my turn. My make up turned out well. I had a glass of wine, was relaxed, and anticipated a good turn out. WRONG. My hair is pretty short to be put up, but the stylist tried anyway. She made an absolute mess of my hair. I was so upset. I should not have paid for it, because, it was really that bad. I ended up taking my hair out, washing and blow drying it myself in a friend's sink before we went to the wedding. Moral of the story: this is not a place to wing it. If you are brave enough to try them, don't do it for the first time before an important event. And give yourself extra time. If you get one of the stylists we had, you might have to have it redone, or redo it yourself. UGH! read more

The Best Color Correction Experience EVER! If you are looking for a hair miracle, look no further than Blondie's in Plano! I cannot recommend this salon and specifically my stylist, Julia highly enough!!!! I came to Julia with a "horrible" hair history. I'd had bad color for several years and was desperate to get back to my signature bleach blonde, but I was incredibly nervous and hesitant. I knew it was going to be a difficult process, and honestly, I was a bit of a neurotic mess about it! Julia was a total professional and, more importantly, a saint. We started with a thorough consultation, followed by a test patch to make sure my hair could handle the lift. This helped ease my anxiety so much. By the time we got to the final appointment, I knew I was in good hands, but the results still blew me away. I went to Blondie's salon for highlights. They were really nice to accommodate me as i missed their appointment last time. They were also very kind to not charge me 25$ cancellation fee for missing an appointment. The lady at the counter attended me and showed me the way to my stylist - Tarra. I got my highlights done, but in the end i was not HAPPY. UNHAPPY And SAD.... I gave her clear directions that i wanted highlights but i want my roots to be black... just partial highlights, but she didnt listen and highlighted my half head light brown. TOTALLY HORRIBLE !!!After highlights you are suppose to look nice and young. I Look 10 years older after my highlights and she charged me 165 for those highlights( WHO DOES THAT). IT WAS A RIP OFF. I think she include the late fee of 25 in my bill as well. This place is totally expensive and they charge you so much for color, highlights etc. i will never ever go there. Its been like few days and i already hate my hair. Half my hair is brown and half is black... seems like the stylist knew what she was doing ... but she didnt knew if that style is gonna look good on me or not. Rebecca is absolutely wonderful! I can't wait to see her again in 6 weeks. She's incredibly honest and very savvy at her craft. I have been a blonde most of my life and recently decided I want to be a stawberry blonde. She suggested a very natural transition-- to slowly add strawberry blonde highlights to my hair until it is my desired color. I'm extremely happy with the first round of highlights and can't wait for the next round. Rebecca also gave me a little blowout and curl at the end of my appointment. Usually my waves/curls fall out in an hour or so (I didn't win the hair gene lotto) however her style lasted through the day and I still have the volume the next day. I'm so impressed. Tara and the rest of the girls came out to Ft. Worth (4/21/17) to do our hair for my best friends' wedding and did a FANTASTIC job! This is the second wedding I've been the maid of honor for in which both brides used Blondie's Salon and for good reason! Tara had done the bride's extensions weeks prior too. I would totally recommend Blondie's salon for anything regardless if you're having them come out to you or going into the salon that has an amazing atmosphere and is well ventilated. So glad I found Blondie's salon on Yelp. Really cute, hip, and comfortable atmosphere. I made an appointment with Valerie for highlights and a haircut. She asked me what I was looking for and my hair came out perfect! I love the color and the cut was very well done. Some stylists have a problem with wavy/curly hair, but she knew just what to do. Found a great salon recommended by a friend. This is a great little place, super clean and friendly, not pretentious like most salons. I am not a fan of the individual little salon spaces and this is a regular salon. I started going to Tierra and she is a doll. Super sweet, listened to exactly what I wanted which was get the brassiness out of my hair. LOVE MY HAIR. Great salon, super friendly receptionist as well as all of the stylists. Love this salon! Recommended by my daughters friend and found Tierra. She is amazing with color correction. I needed a good stylist to cover the gray and get rid of the brassiness from old color. She did just that got rid of the bad color and made my hair beautiful again. The receptionist is super friendly offers a beverage when you walk in.
