Super cute carry out coffee stand in Mt. Pleasant. Ordered a salted caramel and vanilla iced latte and it was perfect for the long drive back to the Grand Strand. They have a nice selection of syrup flavors with a few sugar free flavors. Service was good and quick but imagine there is some times a wait during their peak hours. Overall enjoyed my latte and will definitely be back next time we are in town. read more

Brown Fox coffee is my favorite local spot for so many reasons. The coffee spot itself is adorable and they always have it decorated nicely for the time of year it is. The good reviews confused me. I was so excited for this only to be served a mid latte missing the toppings that the menu said it comes with. There were 2 girls at the walk up window and neither were friendly or welcoming. They just sat the latte in the window and didn't call out a name or anything. The latte just tastes more milky than anything. Also for anyone needing decaf, note they do not have any. Would not come back and would not recommend. Only positive was it was pretty quick. Too bad it wasn't very good. read more

I've been wanting to try this place forever and finally did on the first pretty day of spring. I ran the bridge and then treated myself with a DELICIOUS iced foxy chai latte. It's different than any other chai I've ever had and in the best way. It's got a little extra something in the flavoring and I cannot get enough! The hot drip coffee was also great. The outdoor seating area is cute and perfect for after a walk or hanging out with your dog. There is no inside or indoor seating area. I wish they were open on Sunday because I always try to go but I know everyone needs a day off. I already can't wait to go back!! read more

Brown Fox is my favorite coffee in Charleston area. Located in Mount Pleasant, just a walk up window to order! The best coffee year round, my favorite non-seasonal is The Mexican Chai Latte, my favorite fall favorite is the Autumn Spiced Tea. Recently upgraded their outdoor patio and furniture! You'll likely always see a line but there's a reason for that. It's my favorite Saturday stop. All the staff are so nice and attentive! Was looking for a coffee shop to do some work at, and Brown Fox had the best reviews! There was a crowd of people ordering and waiting for their drinks, which was a good sign. The line went by pretty quick, and I got the Mexican Fox Mocha, which was pretty good! It was definitely a bit of a wait for the drink, but thats ok, I don't mind. I wish there was a tad more seating, but luckily a seat opened up while I was waiting so I could enjoy the weather while knocking out some emails. Definitely would recommend this place! read more

I've been to Brown Fox coffee a couple times. It's just a cute little local spot only outdoor seating. It's a nice place to just grab a coffee and go, but I highly recommend seasonal flavors. I went there during their fall seasonal flavors and got a pecan pie iced coffee I believe, it was so good. I really wanted like a Christmas flavor that day, but they were like no this one would be really good and I wish it was always on the menu. Honestly parking wasn't too terrible. They have a parking lot right next-door and people kind of just leave quickly so there's always gonna be a spot. Also it's just nice to walk there if you're in that area. I would just be careful during the morning school hours because that area can get a little congested with the school next-door but other than that it's pretty easy to get to. You can always go on a walk-through old village if you wanna make a little morning out of it, but I would highly recommend trying one of their seasonal flavors. I can't wait to go back and try their winter flavors. also the day that I went, they had a little pop-up right next-door and I think it was like biscuits or like cookies or something that was really cute. read more

Overall: Dang good coffee, we'll be back for sure! The good: The coffee is really tasty and the price is justified as a result. Some of the best coffee I've had locally. Essentially no lines when we got there around 9AM on a weekday, and service was fast and friendly. Free (strong) WiFi and a decent amount of outdoor seating. Pastries were also great, my wife and I split a blueberry scone (actualy blueberries) and bacon/egg/cheese biscuit. Both were fresh and tasted delicious, and weren't dried out at all. The not-so-good: Chairs aren't padded, so they got uncomfiortable after awhile. Food/drink: 9.5/10 Atmosphere: 9/10 Service: 10/10 read more

This is a cute specialty coffee spot. It is right by Shem Creek and some other restaurants. Employees are always super nice. Bring your own cup and they will use it so you don't have to create waste. They have about picnic tables outside the coffee shop, but there is no indoor seating. I'll stop here and then walk to nearby restaurants for breakfast or brunch. read more

It was pretty when I went around 10 am on a Thursday. I did not wait long to get my coffee however. The service was fast and they staffed enough people to deal with the rush of people. There were a lot of flavors to choose from so I asked what the specials were. They still had fall flavors so I went with the gingerbread latte. I like that they offered Oatmilk. This place is fantastic! The coffee was incredible and they had such a different type of menu in the best way possible! They had a bunch of fall flavored drinks and a couple caught my eye. A maple americano? I have never seen a flavored americano. Let me tell you they did this to perfect. The ratio of flavor was absolutely perfect it was not too sweet and it just meshed perfectly together. There is no inside but it has a very cute outside and great place to sit and relax. The line was huge but we got our coffee in a short amount of time. They are just doing things right here. Parking can be hard to find sometimes but nothing to complain about! read more

I wanted to like this place and even went there three times during my vacation to Charleston, but it just didn't work for me. My biggest issue is that the wait times are insane. One time I ordered a vanilla latte it took a real 30 minutes to get my coffee. It can get very busy during prime coffee drinking hours and it seemed they only had one person making the coffees. The lattes I got (caramel and vanilla) were just not that good either. I liked how many speciality syrups they had and the fact that they had oat and coconut milk but the end result is just disappointing. The third time I went I got a medium roast drip coffee and there was no wait time and it tasted pretty darn good. So go with the drip option if you go. read more

Lovely outdoor coffee shop to go to on a nice, breezy summer day! To start off, there are only outdoor seating at the moment. Not quite sure if/when they will have indoor seating available. Luckily, the weather deemed perfect to have a nice cup of iced coffee to drink outdoors! Plenty of seats with tables, chairs, and umbrellas. I ordered their specialty drink: The Biz. It's an Americano with hazelnut syrup, 5 shots of espresso, and cream. Although I typically like my Americano unsweetened, this had the right amount of sweetness for myself. I absolutely loved this place it had some seriously good coffee that was hot and it barely took any time to come out in the first place! The workers here were nice to us and were smiling the whole time, you could tell that they enjoyed their job and their customers. Brown Fox, you have my heart. I love the taste of their coffee/espresso! I was a barista in college which started my coffee addiction, but it also made me extremely particular about the taste and ratio of my lattes. I got to say, Brown Fox might be my favorite in Charleston. My favorite drink is The Biz! It is strong and tasty! I also like the vibe on a nice day. We began building the Brown Fox Coffee truck knowing that we wanted a mobile shop that could got to events around the Charleston area but also, that could stay put during the week and serve "regulars" day in and day out. We wanted the coffee shop feel however on a small scale, mobile scale that would add to the excitement of our business!

Everyone at our table loved their meals -- burgers, fries, and sandwiches all around with rave reviews. I ordered "The Bird," and it was absolutely delicious: perfectly cornmeal-breaded with a crispy fried crunch on the outside while staying incredibly moist and flavorful inside. Instead of cake, our group brought blueberry pies and vanilla ice cream, and the staff graciously took everything to the kitchen, sliced and plated the pie, added generous scoops of ice cream, and even placed birthday candles on each slice. Such a thoughtful touch that made the celebration extra special. The atmosphere along the water made it even better. Watching kayaks, paddle boards, and boats pass along Shem Creek while enjoying lunch was the perfect backdrop for a celebration. This has definitely become a new favorite spot for our group! It's definitely one of my rotating places for coffee and a work day.

I was excited to see a chocolate chip bagel as my husband has good childhood memories of these from a spot close to his home in California. He has not been able to find one since so when I saw this bagel I had to get it. It was a sweet little treat and I'm so excited ruby's has it on their menu! We will definitely be back!

That may be a preference thing and I have high expectations for breakfast skillets. The blueberry jam was heaven and I'd eat it by the gallon if I could. I think next time I would try something else, like the Benedict. This is clearly a well loved and popular spot for breakfast. I wouldn't get my dish again, but it seems there are plenty of wonderful options on the menu.

We enjoyed an order of wings first, the dry rub bbq was so good. The wings were crispy and seasoned perfectly. Then the smash burgers arrived and OMG, they were amazing! The buns soft, the burgers crispy, with onions, cheese, and a delicious sauce. While Swig & Swine is known for some of the best BBQ, their burgers deliver great taste too. We have enjoyed Swig & Swine multiple times since they opened, and keep coming back.
