    Absolutely awful experience. I was a returning customer in to see Rachel. I have very long thick hair (see before pic to reference) and always just get a trim/cut with some thinning. I got a complete hack job. The underneath was shredded with thinning shears. Left with inability to wear my hair up at all due to the thinned pieces poking out. More than 70% of my hair was thinned out and now I'm left with unmanageable hair, a year or more of growth to even wear my hair up in a messy bun, or just chopping it off incredibly short. Beyond pissed! I did not get a refund or my tip back! I didn't realize the damage done until I left the salon because the top layer of hair covered the underneath. When I called, incredibly upset, all that was offered was a consultation to help style or products. Still sick to my stomach about the entire ordeal. Pictures don't even show the extent of damage.

    3 days after having my hair done.

    Pretty disappointed. I asked for a cool tone balayage with dimension. Ended up with gold highlights and an inch of roots. The stylist was very nice, but I wish she would have told me she didn't know how to do a balayage.....

    Literally the worst hair dye job I've ever seen. Left blue all over me and charged me $70 for it. He was obviously rushing and did the sloppiest job. So ridiculous.

    Ember did a fantastic job! She listened to exactly what I had in mind, and exceeded my expectations. Love love love my new cut and color!! Salon did a great job as well with cleanliness in the covid era. Booked and found on Yelp, so thankful to find Ember and the salon, will be back!!

    I could go on for hours on how amazing this salon and my stylist Tena are! Every time I come in I look and feel a million times better. Everyone is so nice and friendly and it's a great atmosphere. And Tena is probably the only person who will be allowed to touch my hair again. I wish I could give Bloom a ten star rating

    Wish I could give it a zero! I had the worst experience ever, I went in with about 2-3 in of regrowth wanting bleach and toner for an icy blonde. My app was 10am and I left there around 5pm with super damaged hair because they didn't know what they were doing didn't apply foils and rinsed me after about 40 minutes leaving my hair orange and just trying to tone it over and over to accomplish my kind of blonde I wanted. Ended up getting bleached again and still my hair was yellowish so the best solution after that was to apply dark ashy color so at least it wouldn't look so bad. Yes my hair is naturally black but it was all natural no reason why it shouldn't have lifted to the level I needed for my icy blonde if she would have applied the bleach correctly from the beginning.

    Madyson has been working on my hair for a year or so, she does a fabulous job. It's so hard to find a salon that I'm comfortable at and I love BLOOM. Guys they do men's haircuts too! Brian is awesome! Check out their website. I prefer the 67th ave location Very cute atmosphere!

    Veronica did an amazing job on my hair! I came in to get a pixie cut but wasn't really sure on the details I wanted (such as how long I wanted the back or how short I wanted the haircut to be in general.) We looked through photos I liked together and she kept checking in with me through the whole haircut to make sure it would be something I'd like. I had a great experience. Thanks Veronica!

    As a manager myself in a difficult business, I have never ever seen worse customer service in my life. This last weekend I received a haircut which turned out good except for when I went to pay is where the issue arrises. I had a Groupon to use for my haircut and the Salon refused to take it. They stated that it was to be used for my first time. (This was my second time at the salon). I explained to the front desk gal that I had the Groupon the first time I came but I felt bad paying with the Groupon because I didn't have Cash to tip the person, so instead I paid for the haircut full price and was able to tip on my credit card. I asked to speak to the manager who was no help AT ALL. He told me the same thing he would take take the Groupon Nor give me any type of credit. As a manager myself I know that it is I that can make any kind of "Computer Overrides" that would need to be done to satisfy the customer. However this "Manager" Refused to make any kind accommodations. The only advise for me he had was to contact Groupon myself and ask for my money back. Even after I told the "Manager" I am sick and pregnant I don't have the time to sit and argue with you nor do I have the time to argue with Groupon for my silly $15 back! Needless to say I paid for the full haircut price and walked out. Today I called to talk to the store owner, and guess what?!? I was baffled that the "Manager" I spoke with the day of my haircut was the STORE OWNER, who is also a hair dresser at the salon. Owning a small business I would never want a customer leaving my office with an ill taste in my mouth. Groupon not being applicable on any haircuts except first appointment or not the manager should have given me the $15 credit towards the $40 hair cut I received!

    If you are looking at getting extensions even at a 25% discount beware! I initially went in for two consultations and asked numerous questions and thought I was choosing a reputable company and stylist that was experienced and knew what they were doing. My experience was far from that. From the ordering of my hair, which I ordered the most expensive best kind ( ordered in a bleach blonde not matching at all) to the toning which still didn't flow/match with my natural hair whatsoever, to the install which was extremely poor, to the stylist chopping off and completely wrecking the expensive extensions that I paid for. I proceeded to make three different trips back to the salon to try and get it fixed and not having the experience clearly that couldn't be done. Instead my extensions were falling out 2 1/2 weeks after they were installed. Not to add an owner whom should be completely ashamed of himself for not listening to a client and trying to make things right but rather telling me that if I came back again they were just gonna take the extensions out and I would be out the money. I wouldn't step foot in the salon again! I they don't even use the correct beads when installing these extensions which should be silicone-based. So extremely sad!

    As we all know now, being on lockdown can make you a little stir crazy and wanting to make changes, even to your hair! I was wanting to do something fun and completely out of the box for me, and Aundi, once again did an amazing job changing my hair color!! She was excited to do something different as well since she colors blondes all the time (which she's a chemical genius!) Once the color was on my hair I got a little scared but after the blow dry and a few curls... OMG!!! I LOVED IT!!! It's so beautiful and soft to the touch too!! When I got home, my husband got a huge smile on his face and was amazed how beautiful it came out! I sent a couple of photos to friends and I asked for their HONEST opinion, and they all loved it! Aundi, you're incredible with colors!!! And if anyone out there is wanting to change it up during this crazy time, go see Aundi at Bloom!!! She'll rock your hair!!!

The store was clean and decorated beautifully Upon entering the store all the employees were very friendly and welcoming I was at the Ulta to return some packages that I had ordered online. I was very sick that day and not able to stand at the counter for a long period of time to have the packages scanned and processed for return/refunds. I was greeted by Stacy. Stacy was courteous polite professional and went above and beyond to help me. I told her I could not stand long at the counter and was ill. She allowed me to go to the other side of of the counter and sit on the benches while she walked to that side and scanned and processed all my 9 packages. Stacy was amazing. So helpful kind and caring. I was so appreciative of all her help. It was not just great customer service but genuine caring. I made sure to let the manager know how Stacy went above and beyond to assist me. And how grateful Stacy made me feel. Stacy truly made an ordinary day at Ulta a blessing. I wanted to find another foundation, but didn't know where to begin as the department stores didn't carry clean brands, and how many would I have to by from other stores trying to find the right color? I waited over 7 years. I found a NYX concealer stick I was using, but they too joined the butylene glycol band wagon. I was so happy visiting Sephora. The Arrowhead location offers more than their Kohl's locations. They will even color match you. They have devices that can look up the ingredients for you. A sweet gal color matched me, and I double-checked the ingredients before my purchase. Then she turned me onto another brand, Haus. I was sold. Loved it. Then I drove home and started feeling ill from the color matching application. The next day, I returned it luckily still unopened. Either way, they have a great return policy with a receipt. I couldn't get any assistance during my second visit as they were too busy. I came back the other day when it was quiet. They save your information with color match in their system. It made it so easy to pick up where we left off. I was able to take home a sample of the product. I wish I knew this service was available sooner. I was able to get color matched and sample the product. Just like back in the day. That sold me, and I was able to fulfill my goal of over 7 years to find a new go-to clean foundation. Yeah!!! That simple little service didn't take much time, made a sale, and a new regular customer.

She first tells me that a specific color would not look good, because she does not like it, that should have been my red flag, then she failed to blend my highlights and claims that the blonder you go the more "streakier" highlights tend to look. Clearly there was some communication, but I am not sure why being in 2026 balayage/baby lights have to be communicated, so that might have been my fault, but I did not have highlights near my roots to begin with, all I wanted was for to make my highlights brighter. She also made my bangs look super choppy, and having to deal with this for my out of state conference left me feeling very insecure. You should feel prettier walking out of a salon, not uglier.. Sorry Ulta, but I will no longer be needing your services and you should probably make sure that if people are having personal issues they should not bring those into work (not my business to dish out her personal issues) but it seems that she had some personal stuff going on that she clearly brought into work especially since her hands were shaking the entire time she was bleaching my hair.
