Sarah is amazing! I got married in July, and had gotten a "townhog" coupon thingy for Bloom Bridal for eyelash extensions. I figured they would be an awesome look for the wedding pictures and they so were! Now before having them done, I probably would never even think about paying over $100 for an initial set of lashes, after having had them done and seeing how amazing they look when Sarah is done I would not hesitate to get them done (especially if I end up letting my lashes take a break) To refill the lashes its only $50 every 2-3 weeks depending on how fast your natural lashes shed out (or if you rub them really hard due to allergies and are a spaz and make some come out) Not that you need it but they sell mascara that is eyelash extension safe there, so if you do have a big event coming up and want to make your eyes even more dramatic you can :) Sarah is one of the sweetest women I have met in the beauty industry. She truly cares about her work and her clients and wants to make sure they are happy with their services. That being sad, if you ever aren't just tell her because she would totally fix it if possible! Once I asked for a few more lashes on the inner eye ( when I take my contacts out sometimes I snag a lash with them so I wanted a few extra) and she had me back in the chair with the lashes placed in no time! She is really accommodating. I've recommended her to some friends already since I have had so many compliments on my lashes in the last month and half. Cant wait to keep them up! read more

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE going to Bloom, as soon as you walk through the door you get greeted with a smile, the girls who work there are all so sweet and helpful. I been going to Alyse for lash lifts or last extensions, & I must say I am BEYOND happy with her work, she is very precise and passionate about her work. She works very efficiently and makes sure you're always happy. Any of the times I've gone to her i can go from having a full on conversation to being so relaxed and end up falling asleep. I've had my lashes done in other places and lost them after a week (even taking proper care of them) but any time Alyse has done my lashes they last so long ! This review should have been written a few months ago. I bought the Groupon and of course was worried bcuz of the scary stories. The shop is cute and pleasant. My lashes looked great but seemed to twist in which they say I need to go a tad shorter. I've went back for a quick visit in which Sarah added some more and fixed. The first set takes some getting used too and to also take care of but simple just ask questions. I just went for my fill today and LOVE them! Sarah is great and so are the other aesthetician's. I no longer get eyelash extensions, but have moved on to getting lash lifts. My lashes are long and straight and when I curl them they like to fall out (or I pull them out somehow) so I don't bother. The lift curls them back without issue, plus the SPM makes it costly, but acts like long lasting mascara. I even put on extra mascara when I do my makeup. This is way more low maintenance and this suits me better then the extensions. It last as long as 3-4 weeks for me. FYI parking is in the back. read more

Had a very average experience here. The full mink set I got was completely fallen out at about 4 weeks. I've had much more durable lashes at other salons, especially since I make sure to do my part and avoid getting them wet or getting makeup on them. I also didn't like that many of my lashes were hanging down and out of place to the point I had to either cut them off because they would hang right into my eye or just have a messy look to them that would not straighten out with brushing. Also I lost way more of my natural lashes from coming here too :/ read more

if you are a mother, working, have tight schedule or student, don't go there . I made an appointment for the first time then I drove from my work in Sunnyvale and asked my friend to pick up my kid from school to arrive and the front disk told me that I don't have an appointment . I did asked them to take my credit info when I made my appointment just to confirm but they refused. I my work and didn't even pick up my kid from school to arrive to a place where they don't respect people time and have no good management. I did tried after a week to call and made another appointment which was around 5 pm to arrive again and to inform me that they don't have my name in their system......I asked to call the person who answered my call, then I asked to reach the manager (owner) who didn't even care and respond to her employee calls or txt...... it's so sad how people careless and have weak business management. till today from last Friday, almost 10 days and i'm waiting for the manager to call me ...... the worse place ever read more

I made an appointment with Alyse and I am very impressed! I normally get volume lashes and that's what I asked for but by the time she finished she let me know that I didn't need volume lashes and she was able to get the look I wanted without that. I got a classic set done on 5/10/22. It took over 2 hours which is a little lengthy compared to what I'm used to. I asked for 12 to be the longest length but they seem longer than what I've gotten previously by different artists. Carley who did my lashes started talking to her coworker that is new. The conversation between them went on and on about what they do outside of doing lashes and the coworker was standing next to/over me which felt weird. I was about to ask them if they could continue this conversation a different time, maybe not when I'm getting my lashes done. It felt like Carley was multitasking and had to take little pauses so she could talk to the girl. It felt uncomfortable, rude, and unprofessional. Service has gone down but prices have gone up. I used to get my lashes done by Sarah and they were beautiful and lasted for over 4 weeks. Now they have so many new people doing it which is great and all but the quality isn't there. I've had my fill done by 3 different people and there's about 15 lashes on each side that last about a week. Bloom was my go to but now it's not worth the headache of having your appointment changed around without your consent only to get mediocre service for that price. read more

My first experience at bloom was really great. I needed my lash extensions removed and they were able to fit me in same day. I had gotten my lashes done elsewhere. Since I had a good experience I decided to book a new lash extension appointment. I was scheduled for a new set with a "senior" staff member and I was told she was amazing. Boy was I lied to. One single lash was glued to chunks of my natural lashes, the lashes were painful. I've never experienced this. She didn't even give me a full set, it was just a few lash extensions. It took her barely 30 minutes to complete my service. I went to a different location 2 weeks after this and I was told it was the worst las extension work they had ever seen. They were difficult to remove because of how the "senior" staff member had glued them onto my natural lashes. It took the other place I went to an hour to fully remove them. I'm extremely disappointed by the service I received and debated whether or not to leave this review. I didn't contact the senior staff member at blue on because I knew she was out of the country and I couldn't take having the lashes on any longer. read more

Lets start from the beginning. I attempted to be 15 minutes early (although only 5-10 are requested) but im glad I did because parking was horrible. Check in was quick and easy with a very friendly staff. Now my tech was very sweet and kind but she coughed a lot. I didnt mind too much as she used sanitizer before returning to my lashes but it made her hands smell and because they were so close to my face, it was heavier than a woft. Almost smelled like smoke but other than that it was great. I love my lashes but would have liked them to look a bit more even. When I try something, I am usually one to go with the techs recommendations. When i return ill ask for the natural but for the lashes to be evenly spread out instead of heavy in the middle. Prepare yourself for the 2 hour sit. Bring a neck pillow too, it really helps! read more

I'm bummed to share this review! I really wanted to love this place. I have had eyelash extensions several times in the past, but I am new to San Jose and was looking for a new spot. I made an appointment and got a full set applied. The studio was cute like the photos. I arrived on time for my appointment, and was greeted promptly. The appointment went as expected- however, after my appointment I made sure my lashes stayed dry, and followed the aftercare- 3 days later ALL of the lashes had fallen off. Half of them had shed within 24 hours even with proper care. I have no lashes left and it hasn't even been a week. I've had extensions before, and this is NOT standard. I've called twice, left messages and a voicemail asking for a refund or to have things made right-but I haven't heard anything back. Pretty disappointing, and an expensive mistake :( read more

I am so in love with my lashes! I was with Yuridia, an experienced and patient lash technician who displayed to be very experienced and knowledgeable when it came to my lashes. She was very likable and funny, making my hour and a half full set of lashes appointment zip on by. It was very comfortable and I can't wait to come back for a refill. Janel, the receptionist, was also a delight to talk to! She scheduled me quickly, answered any questions she even called me before to remind me of my appointment (I had honestly forgotten up until that point, lol!). Janel walked me through before and aftercare and also showed to be very knowledgeable about the session. Came here for my first, and last ever, lash lift. My lashes were so tightly curled that they went into the crease of my eyelids. This looked awful, felt awkard, and the entire experience was a major disappointment. As luck would have it, the service was done right before a special event and I still cringe when seeing my lashes in the photos. I called to ask for a refund and after some delay my request was countered with an offer for "lash botox" to relax the curl.
