If I could give a negative number I would. They claimed they take service animals but apparently discriminate what kind of animals, which is only dog service animals they allow. They wanted to charge me $1,000 for my two service cats that they previously agreed too a week before the stay. They also wanted to charge me $500 for damage fees for a rug and chair that were ruined before we even got there. AVPID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS. read more

Currently staying at my third Bloomberg managed place in the last year. All three have been different and all three have been great. Some are older than others, some have better water pressure than others and all of them have great locations and great amenities. Looking into booking my fourth stay soon. read more

Bloomer Estates Vacation Rentals - View from deck - Vacation Rentals Near Me - Seaview, Washington

We rented the Knole House from Blomer. The property is in a great location and is large enough for bigger families. The beds were comfy, plenty of bath linen was provided and the large kitchen was stocked with almost anything you might need. The pictures Bloomer Estates uses to advertise the property are deceiving however. The home was clearly great at one time as the pictures show but has fallen into a state of disrepair. Dog hair covered the sofa and area rug Unusable foosball, air hockey, basketball arcade game (scratched, rusted flat balls) Game tables all unlevel, some with pieces of paper to balance them Moldy showers Floors were filthy and bathroom amenities rusted to the tile Jacuzzi had no chlorine. When management company was told about it they didn't fix it,  just refunded money. Fireplace in upstairs room was intentionally disabled so a full size baby crib could be placed in front of it. Broken window shades There is just allot of unorganized "stuff" in this house. High chairs, nursing chairs, dog crate, kites and items other guests have left behind, kids toys- all items that our family didn't require but did require us to organize and move so games were accessible. On the outside the deck is dirty w/moss & mold under a variety of more "stuff" and the lattice skirt around the deck is falling off. Upon renting you will receive so, so many emails with rules, notices as well as some helpful info tucked in for good measure. Bloomer Estates asks upon check out that you bring any concerns to them directly before posting a review so they can look into or rectify things but when we did the email we got back from the owner was "What exactly are you asking for?". Nothing more than an apology really. A thank you for the time I spent using my tools to get the Foosball and air hockey table working but no,  instead we got an email saying that we were being charged $260 for the vomit in the hot tub. Sorry, no vomit happened anywhere, ever. The owner just seemed to be angry, offended and vindictive by hearing the truth. There is an outside working camera system and we suggested they go through the footage to verify. It was a sad end to a good 5 days with family. read more

Up-on arrival for our 4pm check in at Surfview 3, the house code that we were given was not working at all. Called the office and 24 hour emergency number numerous times leaving increasingly urgent messages to call back and no one ever did on the numbers provided to us. Finally got a different ph number and raised the cleaner who was just finishing up a house and said she would be there in 10 minutes. That turned into 20 which now put us entering our house 45 minutes after the check in time - they charge for early arrivals and late check outs but do you think they would respond to keeping us waiting to get in by offering a discount - Heck no! On to cleanliness - the floors had sand all over them and were dirty as witnessed by the filthy bottoms of our socks. We were told to remove our shoes and so did but after seeing what that was doing to our socks, put them back on. The grill outside was filthy and full of grease in the trap along with the entire stand splattered with grease which our dogs found, of course, one tank of fuel completely empty and the other with a whiff of gas so BBQ'ing was not going to happen. Also the BBQ unit they have in Surfview 3 does not have a lid so outdoor cooking was indeed challenging with the wind that is always present at the beach. They automatically charge a hot tub cleaning fee which we asked to have removed as we had no intention of using it but were shut down. My daughter decided on the last night to go ahead and use it since we had been charged but the hot tub was full of sand in the bottom so clearly the cleaning does not happen between guests even though they charge dearly for it. On a good note, the place is well stocked in the kitchen, plenty of towels and even fold up beach chairs. Pretty good location, it is a definite walk to the beach though so elderly people beware We were asked to go to the management company before posting with any complaints or problems but the email back was very nasty and asked us to find a different place to stay in the future throwing out buzz words like extortion, bullying and threats when asked to refund part of the cleaning fees at the very least. This was a really important weekend for my family and had we let it, it could have ruined the vibe for the entire time. read more

Definitely give this rental a try, we stayed here this November with friends and we had a great time. It's a big house with a big yard, private trail to the beach, hot tub, games, full kitchen with everything but the food, wood burning fireplace which makes it a great option for November beach trips. The deck lights were out and we called and they came out right away to fix them. Which was great because it gets really dark here. They were prompt and friendly. The house is warmly decorated. There were just a few things that impacted my decision to give 4 instead of 5 stars. * Directions to the cottage say look for 219th Street, 219th Street doesn't exist, we ended up driving down the three driveways we thought it could be while looking at the website picture to match it with the house we were looking at. It was dark so that was an inconvenience for sure. Just say look for the 21905 sign at the entrance of the drive way. * There is a burrowing critter that is TEARING UP the back yard (see pics) my husband and son tried to play tether ball and the mounds are ankle twisting land mines. We had a good time and I would stay again I just think it's important to give an honest review. read more

The upstairs was nice, clean. The beach was - THE BEACH, yay!! That's the good stuff there. Besides being nearly inaccessible, the downstairs smelled like urine and cigarettes. Upon arrival, the outdoor furniture was turned upside down and scattered around. There was an enormous amount of junk piled around the property. I booked the reservation for 3 adults & 2 small dogs. My guests couldn't make it, so I arrived with just the doggies. Right away, I called to tell the property manager that the downstairs door wouldn't open. She said they knew it didn't work and there was nothing they could do about it; they needed to order a new door. No apology. I used WD40 to get the lock open, but couldn't stay in that part of the house due to the horrible smell. Then, when the keypad for entry upstairs stopped working, I called the office again and asked them to reset the code. That's when the staff told me THEY DON'T KNOW HOW BECAUSE THEY NEVER RESET THE CODES - NOT EVEN IN-BETWEEN GUESTS. Right after saying that - she said "I don't think I'm supposed to talk about that." What. So anyone that's ever stayed there can return at anytime and enter using the same code that was given during the stay. Obviously a very unsafe practice. On the last day, the water stopped working. I called the office - who were very annoyed with me by now - and they said that there was nothing they could do, again, but they'd send over the manager. I asked that they please not send her, as our conversations hadn't gone well. I was pretty upset about things so far. I had used some expletives...couldn't believe I'd landed in the Twilight Zone... I was so in shock at her attitude about the door lock, the smell, the keypad, etc., I figured I'd rather deal with 'no water' than be face-to-face with whatever human matched the voice on the end of the line. Within minutes she was /banging/ on the front door. I didn't answer. My dogs barked while she was knocking. About 5 minutes later, I got a text from her saying that I hadn't disclosed I had dogs - which I ABSOLUTELY did. (With cameras everywhere, do people actually try to hide dogs?) She texted that she called the owner, Robbie and he had instructed her to charge my card for an additional fee, which she did within a few minutes. This alerted me to the fact that THEIR SECURITY CAMERAS DON'T WORK. If they had, they'd have seen me and my dogs running around outside for the last two days. I called the office one other time to ask if I could use the hot tub that was on the deck of the big house since the house was vacant. "Absolutely not." That was the reply. I mean, if I were the owner and all those things had gone wrong for one of my guests and they're still willing to call and ask - of course they could use it. I paid for late check out - 1:00 rather than 11:00. Due to the water not working, it looked like I wasn't going to be able to do the few dishes left in the sink. Then, just as I was packing up the last things, the water started to work. I took a few minutes to do the dishes. Check out was at 1:00. At 1:09 the property manager arrived. She said she was CALLING THE POLICE because I wasn't out on time. Nine minutes. NINE. She stood outside, leaning on her car, glaring at me, smoking a cigarette. She said she showed up so the cleaning lady wouldn't have to deal with me (!) I have a fairly grotesque photo that I've decided not to post... At one point during all of the above, I asked to speak to the actual owner. Their response was, "And bother him on HIS VACATION...?" Unreal!! Is this a joke? These people don't care about your safety or your experience. The photos show a nice, clean property - which is not true. I've traveled a lot. I'm a considerate, clean guest. I cleaned up the outside, leaving it better than when I arrived. The inside was spotless. One nice interaction though, was with the two maintenance guys that came out to help me with the door. They were friendly, polite and funny and seemed sympathetic to my frustrations with all the issues. That's really all I wanted from the office. A simple acknowledgement that I wasn't getting what I'd paid for. Although they didn't say anything, they didn't seem surprised when I shared my experience with them about calling the office for help. The guests checking out of the big house on the property mentioned on their way out, that their keypad didn't work and they'd had a tough time with the manager, too. When I was leaving the property, I stopped at the garage at the edge of the driveway and tucked a thank you note under a ladder hoping the guys would find it. The property manager came running at me yelling, "What did you just dooooooo?" I told her I left a note for the guys. It most likely didn't get delivered... I paid them over $1500, left the place cleaner than when I arrived and the property manager literally chased me down the driveway. Nice. Never been treated worse.... :(( read more

Beware of Bloomer Estates. Our rental wasn't clean when we got there. The place smelled. Sand in beds. Dirty floors. They are now blaming us. Saying we brought a dog (I don't own any pets) and made phony charges and hit your credit card after you follow all their detailed checkout rules. It should be criminal.
