Our last visit to the Long Beach Peninsula on the WA Coast was back in 2013. I booked lodging here back in July 2024 for our week long stay during June 2025. We arrived shortly before check-in time at 4pm. We were provided with site information, parking permit, and wristbands/room cards. Somehow I ended up with a major room upgrade, which was greatly appreciated. I also appreciated the welcoming and congratulatory items: tote bag full of snacks, fresh baked cookies, wine, cider, jam, and various local business discounts. The overall site was large with onsite communal areas. We did not use any of them, but nice to know of its availability, such as: library, DVDs, onsite cafe & mini market, gaming area, workout room, pool and hot tub. Our home away from home for a week had two twin beds, a double Murphy bed, and a king bed, two bathrooms with amenities like extra towels, blowdryer, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash. There was also a washer/dryer, fully equipped kitchen, living room, and dining table & counter seating. There was also a patio with grill, 3 flatscreens, DVD player, fireplace, and overhead fans. Despite the WiFi availability, using our phone service as a hot spot proved to be faster and better connectivity. We felt the property was relatively safe and secure, had proximity to retail, activity venues (movie theater, horse corral, go-karts, kite store, bike rental, and mini golf) & dining sites, and great public beach access. Overall onsite staff were welcoming and professional. So why just three versus five stars? As a long time owner (well before WorldMark, Wyndham, and Travel & Leisure), there were things that weren't quite up to expectations. Dated interiors like faded or chipped trim and sills, visible debris on the window sills (dead fly), carpet (paint chips, bobby pin), dingy towels, sand in the washer, and dirty glassware/flatware. Let's just say we kept our socks on and that also demonstrated that the carpets weren't quite as clean or thoroughly vacuumed. Under the living room sofa cushions, more visible debris. I used Clorox wipes from home on lots of surfaces. I swept floors, put towels in piles by each tub, bagged up our collective trash, and even took our compostable/recyclables back home. We did our best to make it easier on Housekeeping to turn over our room. We even checked out an hour early, 9am instead of 10am. We also waited patiently earlier during our stay to deal with scheduled unit sprinkler system inspection. A few minutes stated on the phone ended up being 90 minutes. Other guests were loud or heavy footed, even after so-called quiet hours. I get it that it's a resort getaway, not a library. Lots of unattended kids on the elevator, running in the hallways. Entire groups taking up communal areas for hours on end. Enough said. Despite attending an owner's meeting last summer at another location, I had to attend yet another one here. Informative, but yet again, I left feeling not quite so VIP because I stood firm to not purchase additional credits and upgrades. Costly enough with owner dues and fees as is. Would I stay here again? Probably not. Other WorldMark properties along the WA & OR coasts have better upkeep. I've stayed at many WM sites in Canada, Washington, Oregon, and Hawaii. This was the first time so many anomalies stood out. Good to get away from it all to decompress and explore, but definitely glad to return home. read more

There are enough things to do in the Recreation Room during your stay. Billiards, Connect Four, Ping Pong, and Foosball.... as well as some other stuff. It did rain, but that was in the forecast. I walked around in the town during the rain.... I wore a jacket. There's some smaller stores. Many were closed because of the rain probably. The staff is courteous and helpful. There were problems with both my husband's wrist fob and mine which we got fixed at the front desk. There is now a little market inside this Worldmark Resort, and a smaller Crepe kiosk. I haven't tried the vending machines yet. read more

Nice location with direct beach access. This resort has updated condos with a nice sized hot tub and heated pool. The gym area is roomy and has a side room for children. Along with outdoor grills at every condo they have gas grills in the common area near the pool. If you've stayed at Worldmark you know these are apartment style condos and very spacious. The only thing that can spoil a worldmark stay is attending an "owner update" sales presentation so to enjoy your stay avoid all offers no matter how enticing the offer as it's not worth any amount they could pay. read more

BEWARE !! BOOK AT YOUR OWN RISK !! We booked a kitchenette one bedroom six months in advance so we can go to the super popular local kite festival that sells out all the hotels in the area every year. My 7 yr old son was STOKED. Then THE DAY BEFORE check in, we got a call from the hotel saying they had canceled my reservation because they had overbooked the room. Luckily, we booked through Expedia and they were able to find us someplace else to stay, but it is 40 minutes away because ALL the other hotels were booked for the festival. The hotel tried to blame Expedia for the overbooking, but when I called later, a Hotel staff member said that the owner of this room regularly rents on Expedia and then cancels last minute to be able to rent it at a higher rate. Considering how Expedia reacted and called the hotel to try to convince them to give us a room, I totally believe this is what happened. What if we were flying in?? It's not like you can just change your flight 24 hours in advance. And ALLLL the hotels within 30 mins of this tiny beach town are all sold out except for two extremely sketchy looking places that I MIGHT consider staying at if I didn't have a 7 year old special needs kid. I will NEVER trust WorldMark again and post this warning on all my social media accounts so parents can be warned. read more

We stayed in the Presidential Suite and it was very nice. The five of us were very comfortable as it basically was a 3 bedroom apartment. The staff was amazingly friendly and attentive. I haven't used the hot tub yet, but the view is amazing! Looking out onto the ocean when you wake up. It's amazing. And before you assume I'm some rich dude who has the ability to afford such nice digs, I don't. It's my girlfriend's mom's ability to allow us to stay at Worldmark properties. read more

Yup, then they leave you during a very busy kite festival with no room! Driving 5 hours with 2 young kids to tell you "I have some bad news"! This property did not try securing a room for us! They bumped our reservation and told us we could book somewhere else. They called us 2 hours before we were going to check in to tell us our room (a reservation that was made 6 months in advance) was not available. They put us up in a ghetto hotel in a dog friendly room. We couldn't even change rooms because the new hotel was booked also. Do not book here. These are amazing rentals, the seminar was worth sitting through! We spent the weekend in a 2 bedroom suite complete with kitchen and living room( which even had a gas fireplace) the glass patio door opened up to a private BBQ and direct access the the pool. They have a game room with ping pong tables and movies you can check out at the front desk. They recommended some local attractions, we took them up on the horseback beach tour. Definitely recommend this place. It's a time share hotel so unless you get invited to attend a seminar, you'll have to buy into the program to stay. We are considering this as a retirement investment since once you buy in you can stay in any of there location for one convenient fee. read more

Do not take the risk of booking this condo resort. There is a high chance that when you try to check in ,they will sent you away. Here is my story and according to a front desk rep. at a nearby hotel, this happens a lot to people who have a paid reservation at the Worldmark Long Beach. I booked and paid for a 2 night stay for July about 6 months in advance. I even called them the morning that we started our stay to let them know we would be there at 130 pm. They said '"see you then".When we arrived we were told that they were "OVERBOOKED" and sent us away. They told us that our paid reservation was CANCELLED when we walked up to the front desk. Apparently every person who was going to check in that day was cancelled because of some bullshit excuse. No early warning , nothing . Do not take the chance . Book somewhere else. We were relocated by Expedia, but that property was so sub standard , dirty and old that we did not accepted the relocation and drove home. My son had flown in from California and we had booked 2 condos as a mini family reunion, only to be sent away. Remember we had paid for this 6 months before. The desk employees are just the messengers but to any management of the Worldmark Long Beach, a sincere "Fuck You" to you and yours. Learn how to run a business or get out . read more

Horrible experience with this facility. We made a reservation 2 months ago (thru 3rd party booking site, ie: Expedia, booking, hotels.com etc). I received a follow up email 2 days before our stay, welcoming us etc. Then as we were driving up there I received a text saying the hotel was overbooked and our reservation was cancelled! This was less than 4 hours from check in... mind you this ended up being a weekend that all hotels were booked due to the unexpected hot weather. When I called them they told me we were booted due to an owner deciding they wanted to use it (??!!) I would STRONGLY recommend against staying here if that is how they treat people. This was one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. read more

Not our first stay at a Worldmark by Wyndham. We are owners at another resort and traded a week to stay here. Yes, you have to pay for wifi-- but this is common among the Worldmark resorts. If you don't wish to pay for wifi there's a business center downstairs for you to use free of charge. We lucked out and had a partial view from the 4th floor adjacent to the adrift hotel and the pickled fish restaurant. Overall not a bad place but just a few minor things here and there. First of all our door that led to the balcony stuck. You had to use quite a bit of force to get it open (kick it with your foot pretty hard). The bedroom window doesn't open how you would typically think and not very far. Additionally, the bathroom, while quite spacious, was lacking a garbage can and the kitchen had no recycle bin but we had the bag for it...? The kitchen was stocked with a few disposable spices but not many. There are plenty of saucepans but not any sizeable sauté pans. There is one or two and they're small and terribly abused-- luckily we have brought our own. The gas grill on the balcony could be replaced as it shows age and abuse from weather including rust on the grill. This appears to be a work in progress as other units have new grills. Stacked washer/dryer combo in the room is nice. One elevator by the parking lot for ingress and egress makes things take some time but we're not in a hurry. Pop machine was out of order on the first floor and we couldn't find another so we ran to a corner store to get drinks. read more

Service should be above and beyond and not to have a bad experience feeling. I would like to say we couldn't even stay at this Worldmark Resort because there was a miscommunication about the resort booking. I would like to say that we had the worst experience in the Timeshare experience. I was NOT happy with the service with the Guest Service Management NICK. He was not trying to help us at all to accommodate our family who just drove 3.5 hours from near Seattle. I understand that there were some changes and NICK (supposedly a Manager) didn't even understand that we were tired and needed assist but couldn't help us at all and it was ONLY FOR 1 DAY. After us being seen by the WORLDMARK timeshare presenter help desk (JAN TURKMEN / BECKY - WorldMark by Wyndham) being treated unfair, we didn't know what we would do but excepted to drive another 3.5 hours back home. JAN TURKMEN came up to us to see if we are staying at their Resort and we told them that we were just kicked out because we don't have the right accommodation. JAN was really helpful and was able to search a nearby location that could get us a new location at the last minute call for a 2 bedroom condo about 20 minutes away from the original location. I give these employees 5 STARS for being there to help us locate a new place and was able to accommodate our stay for JUST 1 NIGHT. If JAN wasn't there at the time we needed help, we wouldn't had a great experience staying in LONG BEACH, WASHINGTON. I would ONLY recommend JAN TURKMEN / BECKY - WorldMark by Wyndham for people that would need assistance with this place. He has a great customer assistant experience and will take care of your needs. read more

Went to info meeting January 2020 to get updates in a group setting. After info meeting had to meet with a sales rep one on one -lasted way more than 60 " !!. Gave info on passport program. Was told that just take passport to the resorts listed in passport and will receive Wyndham reward points.( which can use to offset our maintenance fees.) NEVER said had to sit thru ANOTHER 60 " sales meeting at EACH resort !!! Just went to Portland Worldmark and would not stamp passport unless attended ANOTHER 60 " sales meeting !! I would not book this hotel and if you do.....Double and triple check your reservation. I would give this a -1 review if I could because we didn't even get to stay. This is a time share resort and that detail isn't mentioned anywhere in booking process, and they often over book. My mom and I were supposed to check in on October 13-15, 2023, I happened to be reading through the reviews on Hotels.com (we booked through them) and noticed there were several people that said they had gone to check in and were told the hotel was over booked and they did not have a room. I decided to cover my bases and call and confirm our reservation and sure enough I was told the hotel was over booked even after the room was already paid for. If we hadn't called, we would have shown up and been without a room. There wasn't a cancelation notice sent or anything. I made reservations in January of this year to spend a few days in Long Beach and saw this place on Hotels.com so I took advantage of the early booking discount. The DAY and only a few hours before check in they called to tell me that there wasn't a room for me and they would work to find somewhere else for me hopefully in the same town. They ended up booking me at a sister hotel 25 miles outside of town. That is absurd to me, why would I want to be that far out of town? When I questioned how this could happen the guy on the phone said you are aware that this is a timeshare right? Not sure why that matters and how that makes it ok to think they can just cancel someone's reservations the same day as check in. I was able to be moved to the Adrift only by the help of the call center, not by the actual hotel itself and was happy that it worked out but it took my anxiety to the next level. I don't appreciate not knowing that I would be booked at a hotel with out a kitchen so we ended up having to eat out instead of eating the food I brought to make breakfast and lunches with. I would never recommend this place to anyone. I'm sure it's nice, that is why I originally booked it but for them to do this so last minute is uncalled for. read more

Absolutely beautiful resort. I was gifted a week long stay at WorldMark Long Beach and I have to say, it was one of the best vacations I've ever had. Check in was quick and straight forward and despite the fact that I accidentally checked in a day late, the staff made us feel super welcome. The staff actually made a very lasting impression, every single employee we came across over the week greeted us with a genuine smile and were all so helpful. The rooms here are undergoing remodeling, so I can't speak for the condition of every room, but the one we stayed in was clean and furnished with (just about) everything we needed. For extended stays I'd recommend bringing a sharp knife, but that's about all that was missing for us. The best feature of this WorldMark was THE BEACH though!! It's LITERALLY right out your door. It allows you to get the perfect blend of beach, relaxation, and the luxuries of town. Everything you could possibly want to eat or do is a very short walk from the resort itself. Great for kids, groups, couples, or a solo trip. Overall 10/10. If you're looking for a nice place to stay on the southern Washington coast, absolutely check this place out, you won't be disappointed. read more

My husband and I took our nieces and nephews to Long Beach for MLK Jr. weekend as a belated Christmas gift. We got a two-bedroom facing the pool on the second floor. We got into town around 3PM and tried to check in, but rooms weren't ready. We were able to check in at 4PM, which is the normal check-in time (though I've never had difficulty checking into a room a lot earlier than the normal check-in time). The resort desk didn't have any Welcome packets for us and told us that some would be sent up (weren't sent up that day and when we checked in the next day, still didn't have any). The room itself was great - loved the kitchen amenities, fireplace, and BBQ grill on the patio. We got the master bedroom with the restroom inside (partial beach view). The only small complaint I have is that not everything was spotless, like it had been at the other Worldmark properties we've stayed in. The resort is 14 months old and is right by the beach and just a couple of blocks from being in the heart of town - excellent location! Next time, I'd love a room facing the ocean (with beach access)! read more

I was a guest of a time-share holder here. My review is based on only this experience as I have never been at another Worldmark Resort before. Sadly, I was not impressed and my experience did nothing to persuade me that a time share with this company was a wise choice. From the exterior, the Worldmark by Wyndham at Long Beach appears quite nice and well kept. Parking, though, is only semi-adequate. We entered the resort through the door closest to the parking lot. Immediately I see a problem. Over and over and over again there were traffic jams due to a poor layout. The elevator was a couple feet from this main entrance door. I call it a main door because it is the only door on the parking lot side of the building for people to go in and out of. For that reason, the hall and the door should have been made double as wide. People would be coming in and going out with luggage, bags, tons of people, all trying to shimmy and squeeze through other people coming in the door, going out the door, coming out of the elevator, going on the elevator, or heading towards the game room just adjacent this entrance. What a mess. The rooms looked nice. The furniture, however, was plain, extremely firm, and cheap. The dining table and chairs were fine, but the beds and couches were not comfortable at all! The beds felt like rocks with sheets on them. The mattresses kept falling off the box spring on the twin beds. Nothing would hold them in place. The pillows were thin and there were not enough of them. My night of sleep was no better than sleeping on the ground in sleeping bag. The dishes seemed very adequate. There was a dish washer, electric fireplace and fans to help bring up the comfort level, but even still, I can't imagine paying for a time share with this place. Seems to me like the owners are getting ripped off? Where is their money going? Not on decent mattresses, I can tell you that much. For a resort this large I was surprised that they only had one pool table and one ping pong table. While we were there a line developed, all waiting for a turn on the tables. Not fair. The TV/ lounge area was seriously under decorated and not comfy. The pool seemed quite nice, and I hear it is heated...a necessity at this coastal location! The location on the beach is perfect; right next to the long board walk and seashore below. The town is a bit blah, but cute and quaint in its own way. A nicety is the ability to drive on the beach and have a campfire on the beach. That was enjoyable. Don't plan on taking a dip in the ocean because signs everywhere tell you not to...it's too dangerous with the crazy currents and tides! Overall, if you are already an owner in this resort, I'd recommend trying to stay at Seaside, OR 30 minutes south first, But if that is full, this is an okay runner-up and within driving distance of better places to visit. However, if you are looking to buy into the Worldmark by Wyndham, I would recommend shopping around more. I wouldn't waste my money on such a crummy night of sleep. I've been to Motel 6's with more comfortable beds. read more

Easy access to restaurants, the beach, horse back riding, scooter rentals, etc. Our room was beautiful (a two bedroom suite) and had a gorgeous view. They have very comfy beds and THE BEST pillows. I literally had to look up the pillow place and order some for our home. The front desk folks were really nice too. Being the guest of a Worldmark owner - but also a former Wyndham employee - I am really impressed by the Worldmark/Wyndham in Long Beach. Traveling with my children, I was happy to see the numerous families staying there. It makes me less worried about my children's loud and rambunctious behavior. The hotel is clean, well maintained, and in my opinion very well furnished for a timeshare. (updated flat screens, blu-ray, stereo, lots of cooking utensils, BBQ) The staff is very friendly - I can totally see the "Wyndham Way" training in all of the resort's staff. The hotel is right next to the beach and boardwalk and a short walk to downtown. My family and I have had a great time and because of our stay, we plan to become owners ourselves in the near future. read more

We are Worldmark owners with 8 years of ownership, and we have been visiting Worldmark units for 12 years. This was the loudest unit we have ever stayed in! We were in a 2 BR twin, on the second floor. We booked our reservation 12 months ago... We had such loud guests above us and we called multiple times to report it. The maintenance worker confirmed that they were being very loud. The front desk called the room multiple times to request them to quiet down after 10 PM. We are parents of 4 children. We understand noise, but it was unacceptable! It was so loud that we couldn't watch a movie or eat meals - let a lone take a much needed nap after going to bed a 1 AM when they finally quieted down. Each day we requested to move to another quieter unit, but they were "fully booked". It was frustrating to take time off work and to deal with this for a 'vacation'. After 2 nights they finally checked out and we later learned from maintenance and from the assistant general manager that those guests caused damage to the unit... (broken ceiling fan and TV) Gee, what a surprise... It is frustrating that as an owner - who pays maintenance fees/dues and who books 12 months in advance to get this kind of treatment. I recommend looking elsewhere if you are looking for a great place to STAY and play. If you just want to play and go out and enjoy the outdoors go for it, but be warned - get a top floor end unit. The Asst GM also acknowledged that they need much better insulation... It is such a beautiful facility, nice employees, and a fun town to visit... But... Sadly, we will not be back unless we can get a quiet end unit or a top floor unit. All that said, I know the staff - tried to seem like they cared and tried to help... But, I had to ask for credit for the first two nights from the loud guests above us. I am a owner, however this was a terrible experience. When I first joined Worldmark, it was wonderful. However since Wyndham has taken over, it has taken over. I have been on a waiting list for Long Beach on 4th of July for 2 years. I was finally able to book it on Bonus time. It was listed as Top Floor, which we took as a great thing. When we arrived our room wasn't ready for an hour after check in time. We were booked in room 1403, it faced the parking lot. When we walked out onto the deck, there were chairs around the table (they are normally stacked), there were creamer packets strewn over the deck. We felt someone had been there before us. Next to us was the roof ledge, we saw fake owls rest on the edge. We soon found out why, a large flock of birds would swoop in and roost on the roof. My sister in law is afraid of birds. She wouldn't even step foot onto the deck. The metal awning above the deck door frame fell on my sister in law, causing a bump on her head. I called down and spoke to front desk but they told me that there was nothing they could do that night. They told me to call at 9:30am sharp the next day and speak to Richard. Richard was the manager of the resort. At 9:30am the next morning I called and spoke to the housekeeping manager who told me she would email Richard. I was told that Richard was the only person who could help me. Throughout the day I continued to call the office staff only to be told Richard would be coming in the afternoon. They seemed as frustrated as I was. I asked was there someone that was in charge when Richard was absent. I was told no. Kelsey told me she had continued trying to call him but he wasn't picking up his phone. I spent a entire day, waiting for a phone call from Richard. When we started making our 4th of July BBQ, the back burners didn't work. So we had to cook in stages. When we went out to swim, the pool was cloudy and cold. I pay $106,00, 4 times a year for 5,000 points. I used over 5,000 points to stay 2 nights at Worldmark Long Beach. It cost me over $400.00 for 2 nights. Ocean views indoor swimming pool and usually very easy to get into not like depot bay. I also love the fact that you can drive on the beach or walk to town. The staff here was very helpful with all of our requests. I had an electric vehicle that needed charging and they were able to find an outlet that I used for several nights during our stay. The hotel is nice and beautifully situated on a gorgeous beach. Unfortunately, we were there in mid-March and it rained about an inch a day for a solid week. WorldMark resorts should be the industry standard to follow. Full-sized condominiums with an ocean view. Easy access to the beach and excellent location overall. The Presidential suite is truly phenomenal. read more
