We booked via Airbnb based on pictures, what we got was a totally different room! Their care and concern was nil! Was absolutely filthy with someone else's toenails on the floor, due to not given the room in picture baby had to sleep in the hallway as pack and play wouldn't fit in room!

I had to dig this out with my fingers after smelling "hot".

The lint that I DUG out of the dryer vent after smelling something extremely hot. This place also woke us up scraping black mold off the ceiling next door during their own quiet hours, and then their manager stole my husband's cell phone. We realized we left it and called to confirm they had it. We were instructed to email a prepaid UPS label which I did, however it was never printed and the manager told me she "took it to the post office herself" but refuses to share a tracking number she claims she got. the post office also states they would never accept and scan a UPS package (and give tracking) as she states. that was how 3 weeks ago, still no return emails, phone calls, or phone.... Stay somewhere else!!!!

I honestly wish I could give more stars!!! My husband wanted to surprise me for Mother's Day and take our family to the beach for a little R&R and family time. He was hinting at something but wouldn't tell me what. Since he is horrible at keeping secrets, I got him to cave and tell me he booked all of us a room... I was super bummed to tell him that he had to cancel because I have to be at work on Saturday. Super bummer because he went so out of his way to plan a surprise and let me tell you, he's not a planner! When he called to cancel the room, he was told that we would charged due to a late notice of cancellation because we were within 3 days of check in... COMPLETELY understandable as I plan events for a living and HELLO! Room at the beach, specially on Mother's Day weekend... prime real estate! He explained to Cecilia that we weren't planning to completely cancel but that we needed to just move weekends. She said she would contact her manager and see what she could do for him. She ended up calling him back within 10 minutes to let him know that they are completely booked the following weekend (Memorial Day weekend) but they had availability the weekend after. WE'LL TAKE IT! Instead of giving us very little to work with, Cecilia saved our family beach weekend!! My husband was so impressed with how she handled the situation that he had to call back to ask for her name so he can hopefully thank her when we visit! As I go to Yelp for basically everything, I knew I needed to write a glowing review of not only this establishment, but the employees they have! Great employees make a business! We will be sure to tell everyone we know about this cute little place as well as how amazing Cecilia is to work with! Best part, we haven't even stayed here yet! Had to post an update... The customer service was AMAZING here... the room, not so much! We ended up saying "oh well" and booked at another place.

Ummm...maybe replace the old, worn out furniture?

This is a funny little place and deserves more of a 3 and a half star review. Pros- clean room, evening staff was friendly, selection of board games to take out for free, beds were comfortable, exterior is clean and well-maintained. Cons- interior furniture was ripped, morning desk staff is NOT friendly, free breakfast is very minimal and doesn't have any GF options, coffee is terrible. All in all it's an okay place to stay especially considering that it is a popular resort town with a lot of over-priced accommodations.

We stayed a few months ago and were in a Queen room first night which was fine, but the staff let us upgrade to one of the king suites last two nights. Housekeeping even moved our things over and put our foods in the fridge for us while we were our touring! The suite was perfect! Sparkly clean and quiet! Great for a couple , or family! Visiting again in a few weeks and can't wait!

We stayed here on March 13, 2015. Some friends and I had a couple of days off and decided to check out long beach but after a 4 hour drive, we ended up arriving there way too late. This was the cheapest place opened for booking late at night so we didnt expect much. To our surprise, the staff at the front desk was extremely friendly. Maria, our housekeeper, did a great job of making sure everything was comfy and clean! We stayed in the cutest little yet spacious room that included a king sized bed, a queen and a hide-a-bed couch. The atmosphere was very homey. Good choice of complimentary shower stuff! The facial soap made my skin extra soft and smelled great! The room had a heater/air conditioner so its extremely cozy for any weather. The office had some free DVDs to rent, so we stayed in and watched a couple of movies. They had bikes and beach towels for rent as well! Our mini vacation couldn't have ended any better without the complimentary fresh homemade waffles for breakfast! We will definitely be staying here on our next visit!

You're close to the ocean, surrounded by trees, and there's this constant sense of spaciousness that lets your mind open up. It creates the perfect conditions for artists to think, feel, and make work. What makes Arts Week truly special, though, is the people. The group of artists is diverse, thoughtful, and deeply engaged. You're in conversation all day long, whether that's over shared meals, spontaneous collaborations, or late night talks that somehow become the most meaningful part of the experience. It's rare to find a space where people show up this open and this willing to connect. The programming strikes a great balance. There's structure when you want it, like readings, performances, and workshops, but also plenty of unstructured time to follow your own creative instincts. There's also a real sense of care built into the week. The staff and organizers are thoughtful and attentive, and you can feel that they want everyone there to succeed!

We thought it looked like a fun place to stay considering we love all things vintage and staying in a vintage RV sounded like the kind of nostalgia we would appreciate. A few months pass and we decided to book a 3 night trip for our 12th wedding anniversary. We arrived on Saturday afternoon right at check in and we found the staff friendly and attentive. After check in we drove down to our camp site. They leave the doors unlocked after check out/"cleaning" so the key was sitting in the unit. This also means anyone can come into your unit before you even check in. The outside of the RV was, as expected, worn down but that's a part of the charm. Upon entering, we were hit with the smell of mildew/mold and a extremely warm trailer due to the heater being left on and it being late June. We turned off the heater and attempted to open up the windows, but alas they were'nt all fuctioning. Our 3 dogs couldnt even be in the unit without over heating so we set up their playpen outside. Half the flooring was either peeling up or gone all together. The walls had'nt been cleaned and had a film on them. The seating area did'nt fold down into additional bedding (another broken item), the toilet was dirty and still had urine on it and the bathroon walls were peeling. We weren't looking for a 5 star hotel but for the price we were paying per night we expected more. We settled in for the evening and tried to make the most of it and chalk it up to a new experience. The next day, after waking up and taking the dogs for a walk to the beach we decided to relax at the campsite and decided we could set up out tent (other camp sites had tents on them) to add additional living space. As we were lying out the tent in our area a woman approached us. She didn't introduce herself just started making comments about the tent, and the dogs, and the playpen. Again, no introduction, no pleasantries, just came in HOT. My husband tried to deescalate the conversation however the woman kept interrupting him and talking over him. He reached out his hand to introduce himself and thats when she finally paused and offered her name, Mary. She let us know if we wanted to put up a tent we would need to pay an additional $35.00. We explained to her we weren't expecting additional guests and that the tent was meerely for additional outdoor space. Again, she was coming in hot like we were trying to pull a fast one over on her. I explained that no where was I told tents were additional. I was not paying them any additional money due to the price we already paid and the comfort of the unit. Mary contiously spoke to my husband ignoring me all together. She was telling him what to do and how to do it and she came off extremely aggressive. We said we would speak to management and that's when Mary let us know she was the manager but was off duty so we could take it up with another manager. My husband is a POC and Mary presented as white and while the lodging advertised itself as diverse and inclusive we did not have that experience with Mary. My husband asked Mary for some space and it took asking several repeated times for her to finally leave. After she left, we decided this was not a place for us to stay. My husband started packing and I went to let reception know what had happened and that we were checking out. The staff at reception was very accommodating. I told them what had happened and they were confused as to why a tent would be such an issue with Mary. They tried offering additional things for us to stay and I refused. They asked if I wanted to speak to Mary again, and I said no. I did not want to speak to her ever again. The staff said they would talk it over with a manager but I let them know we were definitely leaving. We drove the 2 hours home. On our anniversary with cancelled dinner reservations and hurt in our hearts. Do better. Understand how you come across as a person of privilege when speaking down to a POC. I hope this is a learning experience for Mary. I checked my email today and she refunded our entire amount.

The stained glass, antique furniture and fixtures were fascinating to look at. The grounds were very pretty, lots of beautiful plants in bloom. There was booklet in the room speaking of the history being it's the oldest consistantly running hotel in Washington state. It even went in depth about spirits that have some presence but sadly I did not see one. The bed was comfortable, the towels were soft and fresh and parking was a breeze. The reason I am giving 4/5 stars is because the lighting, although pretty..I just couldn't see! Putting my makeup on in the morning was a challenge. The walls are very thin which I understand, it's old! They provided ear plugs on the bedside tables but I can't sleep with those in my ears. Lastly, it took awhile to get used to the smell. Again it's old, it smelled old. But it doesn't have to? There are some sleek antique looking air fresheners out there in the world that could really help out a lot.
