Chill ice cream vibes in Pasadena. Went for a late after dinner dessert. Plenty of parking in the lot and on the street. Was not busy when we arrived. They offer 3 samples - so choose wisely. Ended up getting a split scoop of their Almond Brittle & Mackinac Island Fudge and the Mint Chocolate & Oreo. Both flavors were very good - lots of chocolate bits, which what i was looking for. Would come back!

Background On Visit: This shop was on my route to spread news about Masters Of Taste. Background On Owners: Bijan & Leila Sadeghi. We can't remember a time when ice cream hasn't been a part of our lives. We were born and raised in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan where our parents have been in the ice cream industry for over 40 years. Upon moving to Los Angeles in 2010, we sought out a place to get the traditional feel-good ice cream that we grew up eating in the Midwest. When we couldn't find what we were looking for we decided to start a business of our own. We set out to create a product that would satisfy our desire for that creamy delicious ice cream of our youth and offer it to everyone. (Off their website: https://www.bloomfieldcreamery.com/#About-Us ) Background On Establishment: We don't rely on gimmicks to impress our customers; instead we let our products speak for themselves. All of our small-batch, super-premium ice cream is made in-house using all natural and scratch-made ingredients. With a mix of both traditional and unique flavors we strive to satisfy every customer who walks through our doors; kids, adults, and grandparents alike! Mission Statement: At Bloomfield Creamery our mission is to offer feel-good ice cream that the entire family can enjoy! We work to deliver the highest quality ice cream and customer experience at a family-friendly price. We hope our family's love for ice cream can bring joy to yours! Credit Cards: They're accepted Restrooms: There's a unisex restroom available Location/Parking: Located E. Washington Blvd between Sinaloa Ave and N Dominion Ave.. Parking can be found along Washington Blvd.. There's also parking available in the back. Ambiance/Decor: Neat ambiance with a long bar table to sit on. There's also a patio up front to enjoy your ice cream. Entertainment: They have quite a few board games to past by time. Service: Service was great. The assistant store manager was friendly, attentive, knowledgeable about the shop, and offered great ice cream and cookie dough suggestions. Ice Cream Of Choice: Just make a mental note, that you can only try 3 samples. I tried the ube coconut, peanut butter cup, and maple glazed butter pecan. They were all good, but I decided on the ube coconut for the base of the 50/50. For the cookie dough, I chose the oreo flavor. The ice cream was creamy and paired nicely with the cookie dough. was quite delightful to eat. Bloomfield Creamery: I would love to come back and try other flavors and perhaps try out their froyo.

Great vegan ice cream! They had four legit vegan flavors that weren't sorbet or something basic like that. And they also had classic Dole Whip. The edible cookie dough is a great concept. Staff were friendly and the shop is cute with decent parking and seating outside. Will be back.

Ordered Doordash and it was so delicious! Got the Pint of Ube & Coconut for $9.95. it was pretty creamy and not too sweet. Wish the taste of ube was richer in flavor since it tasted pretty subtle so this was 7/10 The 50/50 ($7.95) consisted of half ice cream and cookie dough! YUM! Got the chocolate chip cookie dough and cookies n' cream ice cream. The cookie dough was a bit too sweet but it was not too bad. There was a lot of chocolate chips and lots of pieces of cookie dough! The cookies n cream ice cream was very good! There were bits of Oreo pieces and it was so delicious! Definitely recommend this flavor so this was 9/10 The chocolate cookie was so amazing! It was so fresh, soft and yummy! Definitely a MUST! This was 9/10. Would definitely recommend and return/reorder!

This ice cream is really really good and it tastes very different from your run of the mill cold stone or Rite Aid , my flavors are the pistachio rosewater saffron, and the coconut ube . The ice cream flavors are simultaneously rich and refreshing, which not many places can pull off. Especially the coconut Ube. The service was pretty quick and the ambience is like an ice cream shop

Visited on a really hot day and there was a long line but only one girl working. The girl was working the register, giving out samples, and scooping ice cream. Also, even though the frozen yogurt is self serve, they check out at the same register as the ice cream line so there was a line forming on the other side of the register too. Other than the long wait, the ice cream here was delicious. I liked how they let you sample flavors. I ended up ordering a double scoop of the salted caramel and coffee flavors. The ice cream was so creamy, rich and really satisfying especially in this hot weather.

Bloomfield Creamery has delicious ice cream and froyo to boot. They let you sample flavors before ordering and if you end up getting ice cream, you absolutely have to get a waffle cone! They serve the best waffle cone in town and it's the perfect vessel for a double scoop. I'm partial to their Salted Caramel and Almond Brittle Mackinac Island Fudge flavors. Literally the best combo.

superman icecream here is the best. i once had superman icecream as a child somewhere else and i never forgot about it. its a mix of marshmallow, cherry, and vanilla with fruity pebbles. absolutely sensational. they do it so well here, get it with the waffle cone. u won't regret it. on another note, this place is known for their edible cookie dough add ins for the icecream. i don't personally get that but one day when the sweet tooth really calls i will...

On National Ice Cream Day, my lady and I had to go to Bloomfield Creamery! It's the place I sing about in my new Country Rock Song, "Eaton Canyon Falls"!!! This place is number one in our top five favorite ice cream shops in Los Angeles. As I sing in my song, we always get a triple scoop. Today, I tried a new trendy flavor called Dubai Chocolate along with my usual salted caramel and butter pecan. I also love to get a chocolate chip cookie heated up to dip it in my triple scoop as I'm eating it. Absolutely delish!!! I played a little bit of my music video for Kate, who served us and she and her colleague were surprised to hear the name of their creamery in my song. I told her that Bloomfield Creamey is our favorite ice cream place and IT IS! Sooooo good.

    Is the ice cream pasteurized?

    Hi! Yes it is!

When will you bring back the vegan ube ice cream flavor?

Do they have any flavors that are both gluten free and vegan, aside from vanilla? I see they have some flavors that are GF or vegan. Thank you :)

Hi Christene! Yes, our Dole pineapple whip sorbet is both gluten free, and vegan.

They are located in Mills Alley in Pasadena just look for the bright red sign and signage promoting some flavors. We came by after having dinner. The staff greeted us as we walked in. It was empty when we initially arrived then more customers filtered in shortly after. Staff allowed to sample their unique flavor options. **To note, they offer a few vegan flavors for those with dietary restrictions**. Always a huge plus and positive! The flavors are middle eastern inspired and the details are all listed. My wife and I sampled 2 flavors and we both enjoyed our selections. The flavors are memorable. We happily decided on the Sesame Halve (vegan) & Pistachio Konafa with Chocolate Shell (+$1.00) for myself. The presentation is one of a kind! The topping with the tiny little rose is a nice aesthetic and definitely their trademark. The location offers retro and colorful style seating for 10+ customers if I had to guess . Patio seats are also offered outside. Also, OG Pac-Man arcades are available inside. My wife loved her Sesame Halva and my Pistachio Konafa with Chocolate Shell totally reminded me of a Dubai Chocolate type of vibe with each bite! The whole first time visit was positive and would make me want to come by again to try something else! Presentation on point! Flavors on point! Vibes good! Tummies happy! Come by and just try! When we arrived, we were the only two there for a few minutes until more people came. We were greeted right away. We walked down a ramp that led us to their selections. It's been a few days since then and we can't stop thinking about coming back. They serve unique Middle-Eastern flavored ice cream. I ordered the Sesame Halva which is their vegan ice cream made of Halva ice cream with sesame & coconut. OMG, I've never tasted anything like this before. I love anything that has a sesame profile. If you like that nutty, sweet, and earthy flavor this one is for you. I could taste the coconut, but it wasn't overpowering. There were also little chunks of halva in there that added a slight bit of sweetness. The texture was similar to cookie dough, but softer. Aside from the taste, I loved the simple presentation of the small rose on top of the scoop. It made it look elegant. As you can tell, I am definitely coming back and highly recommend stopping by.

The Bronte Sisters. The Jacksons... You win free ice cream on me if you recognize the pattern. Yes, that's right: these are all siblings who have seamlessly worked together in their respective fields. I raise the list to include Mia and Mark Pedersen - the brother and sister team behind the ice creamery Moo Moo Mia with locations in both Montrose and Monrovia. You won't find Mia and Mark bickering or partaking in sibling rivalry; but you WILL find them creating quality, home made ice cream for Angelinos. Mark and Mia made their way from Denmark to Los Angeles in 2009 initially working in a Danish franchise despite both having a background in ice cream-making. When Covid hit in 2020 with its path of destruction to so many businesses; Mark and Mia decided they should cut their losses and create their own company that they can rely on their decision-making and thus Moo Moo Mia was born. Moo Moo Mia strives to produce Grade-A ice cream using crème de la crème ingredients such as milk from Scott Brother Dairy cows (another sibling company where cows roam free on 900 acres and are hormone free producing sensational milk) and offer unique flavor combinations. After a recent poor gelato experience at another LA business; my boyfriend and I decided to reward ourselves with ice cream from Moo Moo Mia on Honolulu in Montrose (this was our second time at this location). Nestled in the charming central Montrose corridor; Moo Moo Mia welcomes with a pastel color wheel façade/signage and a small square footage ice cream shop. When I say 'small'; I genuinely mean small as Moo Moo Mia is tiny with a display case/order counter and a claustrophobic standing room space with a few loose tables outside. This is definitely an "order and get out" establishment. Due to this congestion, Moo Moo Mia felt a bit hectic on both of our visits which always makes one feel guilty to ask for samples in order to not hold up the line. The flavor options at Moo Moo Mia aren't super extensive (there isn't that much to choose from) BUT there do have those unique combinations Mia and Mark boast of with pride. I have sampled a few flavors at Moo Moo Mia such as Honey Lavender (Sweet cream ice cream layered with delicate ribbons of lavender and finished with a touch of raw organic honey - so good with perfect lavender notes!), March flavor of ice cream with Luck Charms marshmallows and Sweet Taro. On our second visit, my boyfriend kept it simple with a single cone ($5.50) of Madagascar Vanilla Bean (Made with imported ground Madagascar vanilla beans) and a kid's cup ($4.25) of March's monthly flavor Coconut Ube for me. Mark and Mia aren't exaggerating about Moo Moo Mia's ice cream as it truly is quite good: creamy, thick and not overly sweet; the texture is perfection. The Honey Lavender holds my heart but the Coconut Ube was also delicious although it tasted of 95% ube with a small 5% after taste of coconut water. Good thing I like Ube! My boyfriend's vanilla was, in his words, "The best vanilla!" and I agree that Moo Moo Mia truly elevates a basic flavor making it extra special. The consensus is that the ice cream is wonderful, no doubt. The customer service at Moo Moo Mia leaves a lot to be desired, however. During both visits the associates were very dry, somewhat curt - although not rude, per se - and are literally only there to get the job done and that's it. Even though this isn't too terrible; it prevents Moo Moo Mia from being a perfect experience. Moo Moo Mia is a delicious and quality option for an ice cream treat that you can truly taste but the lack of numerous flavor options, the teen-tiny shop and the customer service are flaws that keep it from being exceptional. Despite this, Moo Moo Mia is recommended for all ice cream lovers - whether you have a sibling or not!

However, when I spotted this store as I was walking around the area, I had to go. Inside, there were two employees, and fortunately, it was not crowded on a Monday afternoon, so I was helped immediately. I sampled three flavors: Hong Kong Milk Tea with Toasted White Chocolate, Jasmine Milk Tea Almond Stracciatella, and Honey Lavender. Hong Kong Milk Tea with Toasted White Chocolate: This was a special flavor. I LOVE Hong Kong Milk Tea, so I was really excited to try this one. However, I thought the tea flavor was way too strong, and I usually love a strong tea flavor. I really loved the textural element of the toasted white chocolate though. Jasmine Milk Tea Almond Stracciatella: Another special flavor. I also love Jasmine Milk Tea, LOL, so I had to try this as well. Honestly... this had the opposite problem of the Hong Kong Milk Tea ice cream: I could barely taste the jasmine tea flavor! Maybe the almond stracciatella masked the jasmine flavor? In my opinion, jasmine + chocolate don't go well together. Honey Lavender: This is one of their classic flavors, and it was easily the best flavor out of all of them. Incredible balance of honey and lavender!! Loved how floral the lavender flavor was, as if there is too much lavender, it can taste soapy. Luckily, that was not the case. It was so good as the flavors were on-point, it was creamy, and had a perfect amount of sweetness. It's a classic for a reason! I ended up getting a single scoop of the Honey Lavender which came out to $6.95. Honestly, pricey for a single scoop, but the flavor made up for it at least. Still, I don't think I'd go out of my way to go to Salt & Straw because it is pricey. If I am ever nearby, though, I'd probably visit again. They have really unique flavors during their monthly special, but I just hope that they execute them well the next time I visit. If not, the classics are there for a reason, and I'd be interested in trying them as well.

My first time was at their Rancho Cucamonga location. Nick, the staff member who helped me, was very nice and helpful. I asked for recommendations on their best flavors. He graciously offered them. Thank you Nick! I got to sample a handful of flavors... Boston Cream Pie, Sea Salt Caramel, Death By Chocolate, Caramel Macchiato, and Cinnamon. Thanks for the samples! All the flavors were very good except for the Cinnamon which I thought was very light in taste. Since I was driving, I chose an ice cream shake instead of a cup or cone. Caramel Macchiato was my pick! It had a really nice caramel flavor with coffee bean bits. I was slightly disappointed that they didn't pile up the ice cream to the top of the lid. It stopped at the top of the cup. I felt I was shorted some ice cream unfortunately. Hence, 4 stars! Nevertheless, Nick was amazing. His service was fantastic. Wonderful conversation and experience. Ice cream shake was yummy. It was finished before I arrived home. YES, I will come back to try their other unique flavors! Thank you Bruster's!
