#39: combo vermicelli: shrimp, egg roll + pork = $15.95
    Trung N.

Blooming offers a great variety of Vietnamese dishes on its menu and that is how I found myself dining here. I ordered the #31: filet mignon fried rice ($18.95). This dish was absolute fire. The steak was so tender and flavorful - perfectly cubed into bite sized pieces. The red bell peppers added a subtle sweetness. Delish. I've never eaten bò lúc lắc with fried rice before and I'm afraid I've been missing out. The fried rice here is simple - a little buttery with an egg. It soaked up the lúc lắc sauce and added a little more decadence than your regular ole fried rice. Is it needed? No, but I sure welcomed it. Food aside, they have many (2) aquariums with stingrays and turtles if you're into aquatic creatures. Fun!

Blooming is a spot worth checking out. Tucked into a convenient plaza with ample parking, this place delivers great value, solid portions, and fresh Vietnamese fare in a relaxed setting. For the food, you can never go wrong with their pho. I usually get the combination pho. The broth is consistently clean and flavorful, and the bowl is packed with a generous amount of meat toppings. With the portion size, a large is enough to be shared between two. The popcorn chicken was another standout: crispy and juicy. You can also customize the level of spice (we always get the medium). The spring rolls is another must have- fresh and well-balanced, and the rice combo with beef and pork, served alongside a veggie salad and egg roll, which offered a satisfying, well-rounded meal. For drinks, my fave is the avocado smoothie. It is made with real avocado, not the powdered kind. This drink is rich, creamy, and refreshing. The restaurant itself is bright and welcoming, with floor-to-ceiling windows that let in lots of natural light. It's clean and modern, and the service was impressively fast, making it a great spot for a casual lunch or dinner. They also have the cute robotic server which is very entertaining to watch!

Blooming Vietnamese Cuisine This is a review for my dining experience at Blooming Restaurant. PARKING/LOCATION The restaurant is located in a huge plaza where there are several other small shops and restaurants nearby. There is a lot of open space so parking was easy. RESTAURANT/SERVICE I loved the aesthetics of the restaurant. It was very clean and inviting. The chairs were comfortable and the table top was spacious so we had elbow room to put all of our dishes on. We were seated right away. Our server was very kind and attentive. She refilled our water cups and made sure we had everything we needed. FOOD Everything came out fresh and delicious. Our appetizers were excellent and the portion sizes were very generous. *Calamari *Popcorn chicken (mild) *Eggrolls My favorites were the eggrolls and popcorn chicken. I loved the flavor of the egg rolls paired with the lettuce and cilantro. The dipping sauce was salty, tangy, and sweet. Great combination! The popcorn chicken was equally delicious with the right amount of mild spice! Our entrees included: Pho #9 Pho Dac Biet I ordered their signature pho dish. I liked the taste of the broth and the protein from the beef brisket, tripe, and tendon. The flavors were yummy together! #45 Egg Noodle Soup Rice Combo Pork and Eggrolls All in all my family and I enjoyed eating at Blooming Restaurant! Thank you for the exquisite dishes! We loved the presentations of the plates and appreciated the hospitality. We can't wait to dine with you again!

So delicious! I've driven past or have been in the plaza so many times but kind of just overlooked it. So glad I tried it. The food was delicious as was the ube coffee I got. I highly recommend!

Been coming for years. We have tried other places in OC and LA county and this makes top 3 easily. The food quality amazing, every single time. The family always enjoys a variety of dishes. The service is great, very polite and professional. The servers remember you and friendly. The manager/owner is always hustling. The restaurant is clean, music playing and they always have sports game on! Don't take my word for it come check it out and order different dishes when you visit.

    Nem nuong

We had dinner here on a Monday night. From 5 to 7 it's pretty quiet and then around 7 it started to get busier. We ordered Pho Tai (brisket pho), nem nuong (summer rolls) and the shaken beef style dish. The pho and rolls were good but the diced beef was not very good. The meat had a bad smell. The rice it came with was good though. I'll definitely be back for the pho and the summer rolls. I'm glad Cerritos has a place where the serve decent nem nuong. I usually drive to Brodard for it so I'm happy I found a local place... prices are also pretty decent.

pho here is always good, service is great, and it's never too crowded which I like. It makes the environment a lot more chill. The broth here is not oily at all which is great.

Came here on Valentine's Day, it wasn't pack let's say we came to eat Dinner super early. Our little date with our new born. As we walked in the Hostess/ Server welcomed us and sat is down in a perfect location to put our little one in safely. I would believe this restaurant is a family owned restaurant, the owner is always there present. Very welcoming and attentive. I would usually come to these restaurants for Pho but today was the day I wanted to join my husband and try something different. So we got a Chicken Chow Mein and Sauté Rice Combo. It's was really tasty and delicious. It had been years I haven't come here and here we were and not disappointed. Would like to Thank them for the good time we spent at their restaurant.

I love coming here during lunch. This shopping center has so many things to choose from but I end up here. My go-to is the Tom yum seafood, with a soup full of flavor, spice and plenty of seafood fish. It's at a great price that leaves you full. The employees are always quick and they even have a robot that brings you your drink, so fun! The restaurant is always busy but there's always room to be sat. The ambience is alive! Would highly recommend this place!

Filet Mignon Garlic Noodles, Popcorn Chicken, and Summer Rolls
    Pamela R.

Pleasantly surprised at how delicious the food here was! Located in a strip mall, there's plenty of parking. I came before dinner so there was no wait. They even had robots to deliver your food! I got the summer rolls which had a nice peanut sauce, popcorn chicken medium which I wish was spicier, and filet mignon garlic noodles which had a nice umami flavor.

Friends and I grew an appetite while hanging out at Sharetea, we saw that this was open pretty late so we gave it a try. Restaurant has plenty of seating indoor and there's a few spots outdoor. We ordered a little bit of everything. The food could use some flavor, the popcorn chicken was my fave. Love the service robot and was convenient. Would be nice to speak to a server at times.

    Beef Fried Rice

The food was good but I don't know if the table we sat at was near a gnat's nest or something, we kept getting swarmed by them as we ate and one fell into our soup. Had to stop eating after that.

We were craving some warm pho on a cold night, and Soup Shop sounded like the perfect spot. The plaza Soup Shop is located in is usually super crowded, but if you go after 9pm when most of the other restaurants and shops are closed, you'll find plenty of parking. Write your name down on the waiting list at the front podium and then wait for your name to be called. They have a few seats to wait right outside the door. Once we were seated, we were given menus. I really like that their menu has a lot of large photos of the dishes, so you know what you're getting! Once we ordered, the food came out pretty quickly despite being busy. For appetizers, we ordered the Crunchy Pork "Bao" since it sounded unique. Inside the bao is pork shoulder, mushroom, Vietnamese sausage, and quail egg. The outside has a thin, perfectly crispy layer that gives a nice little crunch when you bite into it. Really enjoyed these and would recommend! We also got the Crusted Parmesan Cauliflower. Not sure what's in the sauce, but it's sweet, tangy, and delicious! It's also topped with fried onion, cilantro, cucumber, and parmesan cheese. Also a winner! For entrees, we got the Chicken Pho and the Pho Ribeye. For the chicken Pho, you can get it with thigh or breast meat. I got it with breast meat, and they gave a good amount of meat! A little dry, but I appreciated that it was nice and lean. The flavor of the soup is really good. Pho Ribeye was also tasty! Hit the spot.

June 2026 Updated review:…read more Bowls have been dumbed down by 40%. Less meat, more noodles, less broth and less veggie amenities. Truly disappointing since they upped the prices as well. So you're paying more for less good food. I would hope they read my reviews and go back to how they served big bowls of yummy pho with great ingredients. I know food is expensive but they've already increased their prices to offshoot current inflation. SO GO BACK TO HOW YOU USED TO SERVE PHO.

I absolutely loved the crispy bottom layer because it added such a satisfying crunch to every bite. The inside stayed really juicy and flavorful with a good balance of pork, shrimp, and chives. The Juicy Pork Dumplings had soup inside, which was rich and savory. I've had soup dumplings before where the wrapper breaks apart too easily, but these held together nicely while still staying soft and delicate. The Wonton in Spicy Sauce was my personal favorite from the entire meal. The spicy sauce flavor was savory with a little sweetness. I'm typically not good with spice, so this is at a spice level that should be very manageable for everyone. I absolutely loved the spicy sauce, so I started putting it on everything. Definitely put the sauce on the chicken fried rice! The Chicken Fried Rice was a great dish to pair with everything else that we ordered. With several orders of entrees, a solid rice dish is a must order for any Chinese meal. The rice had a nice savory flavor that I enjoyed, and there was a generous amount of chicken mixed throughout the dish. I even asked the waitress if they do anything special with the fried rice because it tasted better than many other restaurants. It felt comforting and balanced compared to some of the heavier dishes. The Dry Fried String Beans were cooked perfectly with a slight crispness while still being tender. The garlic and seasoning gave them so much flavor that it honestly didn't even feel like I was eating vegetables. I do have to note that these were very much on the salty side, so if you don't like foods that are too salty, I would choose a different dish. The Orange Chicken was really crispy and juicy, which I appreciated because soggy orange chicken is always disappointing to me. The sauce had a nice citrus flavor while still keeping that classic sweet savory taste. The Spring Rolls were simple with vegetable filling on the inside with a crispy outside. I would try a different appetizer next time. The Kung Pao Shrimp was packed with flavor and had a really satisfying combination of textures. The shrimp were tender, and the peanuts added a great crunch to the dish. I thought the sauce had a really nice balance of spice and savoriness without becoming overwhelming. Another dish I really enjoyed was the Beef Roll Pancake. The pancake itself was nice and chewy throughout each bite. The sliced beef with green onions and sauce all wrapped together made every bite really flavorful and satisfying. For drinks, I ordered the Jasmine Milk Tea with Boba. I really liked that the jasmine tea flavor was noticeable instead of being overly sweet like some milk teas can be. The boba had a soft chewy texture, and the drink itself paired perfectly with the spicy and savory dishes from the meal. Staff: All of the staff members were quick and friendly Ambiance: Indoor seating only. A good amount of parking in the parking lot that is shared with other shops in the plaza.

Both the Signature Potstickers and Signature Dumplings have the same filling so I'm assuming it's the same if you were to order the Kimchi version. The Corn Chowder was okay, it had corn and pork in it. It was simple so there wasn't anything bad or good about it. The employees are very kind and helpful! I asked the employee in the front if he preferred the Signature or Kimchi, and he told me he recommended the Signature first to try it out. I am now interested in trying out the Kimchi version too.
