Flavor Pho is hands down the best pho I've ever had. I'm not even looking for another pho spot at this point. I've probably been here 15-20 times, and they've consistently kept me coming back. My go-to is definitely the beef pho. The broth and flavor just hit every time. The shrimp pho is really good too, and honestly, I've tried some of their other plates and haven't really been disappointed. They have plenty of options besides pho, and pretty much everything I've had has been good. The service is excellent, but what really makes this place stand out is the atmosphere. It doesn't feel like some big restaurant--it has more of that family-run, home-style feeling where you feel comfortable coming back again and again. Pretty solid vietnamese spot in a busy Cerritos plaza. Located next to Class302 and Creamistry, parking can be quite tough. Regardless, if you're craving Vietnamese food that feels homemade, this is the spot for you. The interior feels dated and yet homey at the same time. I tried their vermicelli with beef and eggroll and their shaken beef rice plate. The vermicelli bowl was delicious and all of the toppings and fish sauce made it a very filling bowl. On a Wednesday night around 8, we (2) were able to be seated right away. The staff were kind, helpful and attentive. I got the veggie + tofu pho with the veggie broth. You do have the choice of beef broth. It came out quickly! It was a pretty standard bowl for $14. Portion size was in the middle too. Been looking for a place nearby for pho with good broth and this is the place! I am super picky when it comes to broth. I'm not a fan of that super strong clove/star anise flavor and most of the other places we've tried all taste like that. Flavor Pho's broth is on point. I came in on a Saturday to have a much needed bowl of pho. Flavor Pho has plenty of private parking. I didn't look at the been as I knew exactly what I wanted: small bowl of pho with rare beef, tendon and tripe. The man who took my order was very friendly, After I sat down, 4 groups of 2-4 also arrived. After about 8 minutes, my pho arrived. The broth is hot, had great aroma, full of ingredients and a side of veggies (basil, lemon wedge and bean sprouts). My only issue is that the broth is salty. There were meat parts that we werent able to chew...We are pho lovers and we are going pho places so often and we never faced such an experience. I asked for a new one (no tray of utensils on the table) and gave me another dirty spoon, I really gave them the benefit of the doubt by thinking it's like a patina but I was able to scratch it off with my finger nail, you can see the scratches I made.
