Not the best pho but still good for a rainy day. There was about a 5min wait time. Service was nice and friendly no complaints there. I didn't look at the been as I knew exactly what I wanted: small bowl of pho with rare beef, tendon and tripe. The man who took my order was very friendly, After I sat down, 4 groups of 2-4 also arrived. After about 8 minutes, my pho arrived. The broth is hot, had great aroma, full of ingredients and a side of veggies (basil, lemon wedge and bean sprouts). My only issue is that the broth is salty. Taking 2 stars off for the awful spoons , like what's the deal?!?! I asked for a new one (no tray of utensils on the table) and gave me another dirty spoon, I really gave them the benefit of the doubt by thinking it's like a patina but I was able to scratch it off with my finger nail, you can see the scratches I made. My favorite spot. I've been to pho in Westminster, Cerritos, Long Beach, and plenty of other cities but the broth here is great. I like getting the brisket with egg noodle instead. It's been so hot lately that I wanted a salad. Instead, I was talked into getting vermicelli since its a cold dish with veggies. I'm glad I did. I got the spicy lemongrass bún. That dish was super yummy and made my tummy feel satisfied. I'm gonna order this dish again this time with beef or pork. The eggroll bún was good too. I went on a Sunday night so it was definitely packed as many had the same idea as I did, but they called people quick. If you get there while it is packed just a heads up that parking is hard to find because there is a bunch of restaurants in the plaza so you're competing with them for some parking spots. Service was good and quick, but it was so quick that our drinks were forgotten about. When I informed them, the server was super quick on bringing them out. The spring rolls were delicious especially with the peanut sauce. The pho was the star of the show. The price is also good for what you get.
