We were honestly on a mission to go grocery shopping next door... but then we spotted the giant GARLIC sign with three Michelin stars underneath it. Well, that was the end of our grocery plans! I mean, why cook when Michelin-recognized chefs can do it for you? Immediate detour!Artesia is already packed with amazing restaurants, but if I see Michelin stars, I'm pulling over every single time. Garlic & Chives did not disappoint. We ordered the garlic green beans, the beef salad, and the fried tofu . Everything was absolutely delicious. The beef salad was so fresh, light, and refreshing, and the garlic green beans were packed with flavor. Even the tofu spring rolls were perfectly prepared. The atmosphere was just as memorable as the food. Walking inside felt like stepping into an enchanted garden. It reminded me of a Hobby Lobby flower department--in the best possible way! Everywhere you look there are beautiful floral touches, giving the restaurant a whimsical, fairy-tale vibe. I kept thinking, "A fairy definitely decorated this place." It made the whole dining experience feel warm, magical, and unique. The food was outstanding, the ambiance was charming, and now I'm way too full to finish my grocery shopping. I'll definitely be coming back. If you're in Artesia and appreciate beautiful restaurants with fresh, flavorful food, Garlic & Chives is absolutely worth the stop.

I only ordered a couple items for the NFL DRAFT but very flavorful food. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and the gal who helped me was super nice. There's also a pretty decent bar there. I just wanted something to gnaw on with my beer chaser. The Crispy Chicken wings were delicious and super crispy. I also had to get the Garlic Noodles with SHRIMP. They were huge. I am looking forward to my next visit there so I can sample more of the menu.

Spacious restaurant with pretty easy eats. Went for a workday lunch. There's plenty of parking in the plaza and we were the first ones in the restaurant (came around when it opened). There's quite a few things on the menu, including some all-day specials. However, heard the better dishes are not from that menu, so opted for some appetizers and an entree. Ordered the salmon belly spring rolls and pork spring rolls. We also ordered the pork clay pot. Spring rolls came first - they were both well made and tasty. The sauces match great with them. I preferred the salmon belly spring roll but that's all relative - both were good. The clay pot dish came shortly afterwards. The rice was nice and crispy from the rice pot and went well with the pork belly pieces in the other pot. The sauce was on point - was worried it would be salty, but wasn't. Price point was decent. Would come back and try out a few other dishes next time around.

This Garlic and Chives is so much better than the one in Garden Grove and has many more decorations upon entering. We tried their special garlic crab, which is seasonally priced, along with shaken beef, egg rolls, spring rolls, garlic noodles with prawns and drinks. A word of advice is to get to know your server, as there is really not enough staff when it's busy. I'm glad I made it out here to try some delicious Vietnamese foods and nice environment.

We've been coming here regularly for 6-7 years now. Every single time we are here, service is so warm & spot on, & the food is all FANTASTIC. Today we came for lunch to celebrate a birthday. The size of this location is so great for groups! I will always appreciate the easy parking too. We all LOVED everything we ordered: Pork & shrimp dumplings w/crispy skirt - made fresh, chewy, meaty, yum! Salmon belly fresh rolls w/tamarind sauce - we always have to get at least 2 orders bc these are so good! Pomelo salad - the freshness of this light salad is amazing. Pomelo chunks, shrimp, red onion, crispy shallots, mint, carrot, bean sprouts, lettuce, a light dressing & crispy shrimp chips makes this one of the most perfect dishes! Garlic noodles w/shrimp - another one of the best dishes on the menu - fat shrimp, garlicky umami-rich noodles. So good! Shrimp skewers - head & tail on, super garlicky, super fresh shrimp! Sizzling filet mignon - the most tender chunks of beef, in a delicious sauce with bell peppers, onions, tomato & cucumber. Served with steamed rice & a dipping sauce that I wanted to pour on the rice & just eat that alone. Just writing this makes me wish I had leftovers to snack on right about now. But everything was so good, we ate it all. No leftovers for me, so I'll be back again very soon!

Great Vietnamese food and excellent service! Everything we ordered was delicious and full of flavor. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. They also have a Lunar special menu, which is a nice touch with seasonal dishes you don't usually see. Definitely a great spot to enjoy authentic Vietnamese food. Highly recommend!

The food was good overall, but it didn't quite live up to the hype for us. That said, I think part of it was because we didn't order any of the restaurant's recommended or signature dishes. Everything we had was enjoyable, just not especially memorable. The service and atmosphere were nice, though, and I'd be willing to give it another try. Next time, I'll definitely order the dishes they're known for. I have a feeling that would make for a much better experience.

Located by a shopping center. This restaurant is able to accommodate large groups for any occasion. The food is so delicious. Each plate is very pleasing to the eye. They were short staffed, but once the order was placed, each dish came timely for us to enjoy each dish. The staff came to check if our order was complete and how everything was going. The crab was so well seasoned with garlic flavor. The garlic noodle was so well accompanied by the garlic flavored tiger shrimp were my highlights for the meal. Definitely will come back to try their other dishes on the menu.

We went on a Sunday at 1:30 and was seated right away. We were actually the only ones there and they gave us their full attention. Love the ambiance and lovely details of the decors and they also have a private room nicely decorated with a chandelier for special occasions. I inquired and they had a $600 consumable for 2 hours to reserve and it fits like 20 on this gorgeous long wooden table but they said the room can accomodate more. Food was really good and our fave was the mango pomelo salad. I also love the crispy noodles ghat came with yummy sauce and lots of veggies and meat on it. Actually everything was good. We also ordered the fried salmon (not in picture) and it was not fishy at all and very crispy. Servers were very attentive and nice! Loved our experience and definetly coming back.

I was a bit hangry and chose this restaurant for so home cook Vietnamese food. I ordered the caramelized salmon with rice and it absolutely hit the spot. Salmon was not too salty and complimented white rice well. They offer a nice menu of Vietnamese classic and fusion offerings. Casual. Good service. Good parking. Please come and create your own adventure.

Just held my son's graduation party here for 60 people and the ambiance, the service, and mainly, the food, omg, my guests have not stopped talking about the food served! Every dish was cooked to perfection from the appetizers buffet (mini beef Wellington to avocados stuffed with ribeye to egg rolls) to sit down dinner service! It was wow after wow moments all dinner long!

I've been here before and have not really been wowed by the food. I came back to see if anything might have changed for the better. There were only two tables occupied when our family & I arrived for 7 pm dinner, but no one was out front to welcome us at all. It seemed like that was a harbinger of how the rest of the evening's dinner was going to be. We got several dishes , although mostly they were just shy of being mediocre to forgettable. They have a lot of dishes on the regular menu plus an all day specials menu. We got dishes from both menus. Chicken pho was so salty, and the chicken thigh slices were not tender. Braised vegetables was the usual mix of cauliflower, broccoli , carrots and some bokchoy. Fried crispy tofu was crispy but bland , even with the garlic and chives sprinkled over it and the sweet chili dipping sauce. Whole fried flounder with mango strips was smaller than I've had elsewhere. The sauce was exactly the same as the tofu except with shredded mango added. Grilled spareribs in lemongrass marinade did not really taste like it. Although it was tender. Rice was included and served in a hot metal pot that gave it a crispy crust, I prefer my rice to be soft. The decorative motif is also bordering on overly floral that it's almost tacky. These are my own personal impressions. Most unlikely that we'll be back.

Great service and delicious food! The decor is very pretty. Perfect for a celebration. Also found out they're Michelin recipients. We ordered the ahi tuna rolls. So bomb! My hubby ordered the spicy tofu and he inhaled it. The staff is very friendly and attentive. They want to make sure your experience and meal is great. We loved it so much we returned a few days later with my brothers.

Hi there! I'm looking to reserve a larger space for a group of 10-13 adults and a few kids. Looks like the private messages aren't activated for this restaurant on yelp so wondering if you can message me your email address to discuss? Thanks!

Yes. Very spacious. I think when I went last, we had 11 people in our group and it was spacious.

Interested in your menu for banquets. Is it posted online or would be able to send an email with more info? Thanks

Feel free to private message us!!

Looking at reviews, I saw a photo of a jalapeño bomb but I didn't see it on the menu online , and the photo didn't have a description. I arrived in the drive thru ( YES THEY HAVE ONE!!! ) and asked if they had jalapeño bombs and they said yes! They call it jalapeño bom. I will say, even though THE jalopeno is larger, I've never had an order that only contained one jalapeño, split in half... these are my go to and they have a minimum of 4 halves, which is 2 jalapeños filled. This only has one jalapeño, split in half filled, for 6.99 which I feel is more on the steep side for just one. They have fusion tacos, which I decided to try because I love signature items. I chose the beef, and they have chicken also or you can do half and half. Cucumbers, onion, and cilantro, teriyaki sauce and hot sauce, 4 to an order for 12.99. They are definitely worth it. But they didn't have the sesame seed garnish topping like I saw on prior photos. The drinks aren't on the menu but you can ask what they have. Customer service was great and food was fresh. We ended up getting Mango Grahams, Pancit, Siomai and Popcorn Chicken. Before we placed the order, it was communicated clearly from the staff that there would be a wait (there were 3 parties ahead of us, and one of them was huge, so we kinda expected a wait anyways.) We also weren't in a rush and were willing to wait regardless, so that didn't really bother us. The Mango Grahams were exactly and more than we expected; definitely satiated my cravings. The food was also good and arrived in a reasonable manner. Again, we only wanted to check this place out because of the Mango Grahams, but we were surprised at how many other options they had for desserts, appetizers, food, and drinks. It's a bit of a drive for me, but I wouldn't mind the distance knowing the quality and options they have. Also, I briefly looked into this place before driving here, and I was expecting like a quick "boba store" environment, but it also has a sit down ambiance. Great for quick hang outs with friends or sit down meals with your family. Also, I'm specifically writing this review because of the staff. Given how busy they were, I want to recognize how friendly and welcoming they were.
