    Received Shoes with Visible Wear & Tear  2nd Order - They send a pair of returned or floor sample merchandise.

    Horrible Service!!! I ordered a pair of shoes for my wife, first order came in and they were used. The box had the receipt of the original purchase still in the box (see attached picture), they were returned in Atlanta GA and resend to California for resale. The shoes were extremely dirty and beat up. We went back to the store to refunded them and they reordered them for us, second pair arrived... worse than the first pair!!! These were also used and worn, the inside of the shoe was dirty and the bottom had some wear and tear. I called customer service to file a complaint and they reordered but promised that these would come straight from the warehouse and would be NEW, we shall see! They did tell me I had to go back to the store to refunded the second pair, waste of time and gas. What is going on with Bloomingdales??? This is not the first time I experience this issue, I hate having to order from Bloomingdales because it's always a risk that you will receive returned or floor sample merchandise. Definitely not worth the money and time wasted.

    We came to Bloomingdale's because of my 17yr olds exhaustive search for "the perfect" prom dress. We (seemingly) visited every mall and boutique (in Ventura county) and decided to try something different. My daughter did find a dress "that would work" in a boutique in this mall but to be through we decided to go to Bloomingdale's. I knew right away experience was going to be different as she immediately picked out over 5 dresses to try in her size and in style she liked. Much different than our experiences at other department stores and boutiques. Finally, she found the perfect dress and it was on sale! While it was expensive the "damage " could have been worse, lol. So in-terms of inventory/selection/size/style Bloomingdale's gets the highest rating possible...next time we'll start here! My biggest complaint about this location is the poor and seemingly indifferent service. I asked an attendent for access to a dressing room and while she said, "I'll be there" she never came back to us. We stood around until some other attendant asked "do you need a fitting room?"...my wife, my daughter and me all holding dresses. Lastly, after we purchased the dress...and got home. My daughter discovered the security ink pod was still attached to the dress. Had to drive back from Ventura county to Glendale to have the security thing removed. I blame myself for not double checking but still isn't the removal of this thing part of the check out process ? If you can forgive bad service or at least be prepared for it...Bloomingdale's has an awesome inventory (for prom dresses for sure).

    These ladies were very helpful to show my daughter the handbags she wanted to try on. They don't have the color she wanted on display but the team member check in stock for us and found the bag she wanted. They were efficient with our time, courteous and kind. She loves her new bag! I do too!

    Very rude and no type of customer service only a guy from women's shoe department attend us and asked if we need help .

    I recently visited this Target to purchase a controller and was assisted by an employee named…read moreTommy. I don't know whether he is new or still in training, but the transaction took much longer than expected. I paid with cash, and it took approximately 10 to 15 minutes for the money to be counted. After the transaction appeared to be complete, Tommy recounted the cash several more times and eventually realized he had made an error, which further delayed the process. What made the situation more frustrating was that there were multiple customers waiting for assistance, and Tommy appeared to be the only employee available on the sales floor. At one point, another customer even asked if there was anyone else available to help because of how long the wait was, but their question was not acknowledged. I understand that mistakes can happen, especially when handling cash, and if Tommy is new, I can understand being extra careful. However, the lack of efficiency and communication created a poor customer experience for both myself and the customers waiting behind me. I hope additional training and support can be provided to help improve customer service and reduce wait times in the future.

    I had a very disappointing customer service experience at Marshalls on June 9, 2026…read more I purchased an item on May 9, 2026, and returned it today, exactly 30 days later. During the return process, the cashier, Margaret, informed me that my refund could only be issued on a gift card rather than being returned to my original payment method. When I asked why, her response was, "I don't know, it didn't give me an option to return it to your card," while turning the screen toward me. She then suggested that "maybe it's because you bought it from Pasadena." Excuse me--what? As someone who worked in retail for over 12 years, I have never heard of a policy where an item purchased at another store location automatically prevents a refund from being returned to the original payment method. The explanation made no sense and felt like she was simply making up reasons rather than providing an accurate answer. I then asked whether a manager could override the transaction. Margaret told me there was no option to do so. However, when I requested to speak with a manager, she contacted someone over the walkie-talkie, provided my receipt information, and suddenly my refund was able to be processed back to my original payment method. How convenient. What made this experience particularly frustrating was not the initial issue itself, but the inconsistent information and lack of transparency. If there was a legitimate reason for the problem, I would have understood. Instead, I was given multiple explanations that appeared inaccurate, followed by a quick resolution once management became involved. I also noticed that Margaret seemed extremely stressed and preoccupied with break or clock-out timing. I understand retail can be demanding, and I generally give retail employees the benefit of the doubt because I've spent many years working in customer service myself. However, customers should not be given misleading information simply because a situation is inconvenient or because an employee is trying to end a transaction quickly. I rarely submit complaints because I know how challenging retail work can be. However, this interaction was unnecessarily frustrating and could have been avoided with honest communication and better customer service.
