I bought an expensive shoes that looked worn , I showed it to an employee, ( should've trust my eyes) she said "it's because many people try them on, that's why it looks worn, so I bought it , tried them at home , and decided to return, because they were not comfortable, but Racks cashier called the manager, manager said I cannot return, because they are worn, he wouldn't except my explanations , made me look like a fool, but lucky me , I found the same employee, who I asked about the shoes earlier, and she told the true story to that idiot manager , so I won and got my refund . Manager said that they don't sell worn shoes, but half of the shoes in that store are worn, so before buying anything , people should take a picture and video, otherwise they will make you swallow their damaged merchandise read more

Very rude manager. Bought $250 worth of clothing from the Palm desert location on 5/28/26. Printed on my receipt that I have till 7/27/26 to return any item. Today 6/20/26 found one of the item was further discounted on line. I called customer SVC they confirmed I can have a price adjustment at the store. Apparently not at this location. I was informed by the Mgr in a rude way that 15 days is their policy for any exchange, credit and refund. Then the cashier suggested I could take back my transaction to Palm desert 2 1/2 hrs away. I had no intention to return the item only a price adjustment. I offered to repurchase the item back at which she refunded me the amount I paid and come back to repurchase it. I've been running into the same issue lately with the Hispanic male with loss prevention. From the moment I walk in until I leave I can feel him already stalking me in the isles. The man is practically breathing down my neck as he follows me. Reaching into the same parts of the isle pretending to shop while he is practically brushing up on me is ridiculous. He follows me through isles and even at a distance his eyes pierce me. I've never felt so targeted and unwelcome in a store before. I understand loss prevention is everywhere but the way your employee handles it constitutes harassment. This is not ok! Terrible. Do not recommend going into this store. I went in to purchase some flats and it had two different tags, how convenient that the higher price was the one that was correct. Requested to speak with the manager. A women was called by the cashier and she did not even introduce herself or asked me anything. She spoke with the cashier and I had to address her and tell her what was happening, her response employees make mistakes. Apparently so did management when putting her as manager. The robe I had picked up at the Palm Desert Rack needed to be returned: I had been dropped like an electric eel the week before Christmas by its intended recipient. ( lucky for him Yelp doesn't allow reviews of people). The Glendale Fashion Center Rack is closest to me and very convenient. There was not only no traffic that morning but the shopping center and store were deserted. I walked in, waited maybe 2 minutes, and was assisted. It helps i had my receipt, the box, the packing slip and a good attitude. The associate was friendly and efficient. The credit back to my card took all of 30 seconds and I was out the door: on to return more intended gifts...to other stores. Thank you Nordstrom. read more

I am leaving a review even though I did not buy anything, however, Alina had some of the best customer service I have seen an a very long time. You can tell she cares about the customers needs, and she is dedicated to making you comfortable. Comfort, in my opinion, factors in a lot. She doesn't pressure you into buying anything you don't want. She showed us different selections, talked us through the fabrics and materials, showed us things within our price range, and went above and beyond to meet our needs. Personality goes a long way, and she was courteous, charismatic, and generous. I was sold based on customer service alone. I will be going back before I leave the states. Might even get me a suit! Once in line, it took 25 minutes just to get to the register. 20 people in line with 2 cashiers. 2 additional staff in the area but hanging clothes back. Avoid if you can. read more

This location is much smaller than any other Nordstrom Rack that I've been to. It's located on the second level in the shopping plaza so you'll need to take either an elevator or escalator to get into the store. The store itself is organized well but there's not much of a selection. read more

Came here on a Thursday evening 20 minutes before closing to do a quick return. They have a separate line for returns and order pickups, however it was quite slow. I'm not sure if it was the quantity of items that people were returning or the efficiency of the return process (likely a combo of both), but I worried I would not get my return done before the store closed. I was able to make my return a couple of minutes before closing, but I don't see myself returning to this Nordstrom Rack location anytime soon. read more

Expressing my disappointment of today's encounter. Wouldn't recommend this store with the "manager" Eric running this store. Apparently his co workers say he has another manager looking over him but, if this guy "Eric" is the manager... he cannot multi-task. Actions spoke louder when more than 3 employees had to find the manager, no response through the communication of walkie talkie devices, to get an item in the front that was suppose to be in the check out counter right after an earlier discussion of purchasing the item with the manager. They finally reopen! So glad that after almost 3 months this branch accepts in-person visit once again. They are prepared with safety measures like masks & sanitizers. They also refrain from using the fitting rooms to avoid any contacts. At that time, they offered huge discounts but final sale. They also accept shoppers at limited numbers & limited schedule per day. They're able to control the place with good organization for items with accessibility & fast checkouts. I used to be a regular at this store but as I went again I remembered why I stopped going! Selections for clothing are not too good. I spent over an hour looking for some clothes and so I had about 3 shirts and a sweater. Then I decided to leave my cart at customer service so I could go to the bathroom. The guy who worked there said he'd watch my cart. I was gone about 5 minutes. Then when I returned my cart was gone! I was so upset because all of the time and energy that went into shopping and it was all gone! Also, can someone take the time to clean the restroom?? It was gross with toilet paper everywhere and floors where wet! read more

The men's section has shrunk by at least half in the past two years with the brand offerings becoming more and more low-rent. To top it off, the store usually smells like sewage and is in good need of a deep cleaning. Like most huge corporations, they're greatly understaffed which only makes the experience worse. They're only getting two stats because they had a pair of sunglasses that looked similar to a pair I lost over the summer. Otherwise, it's typically a total miss. read more

I came here to return some stuff I purchased online. The plaza itself has a Ross, tj max, petco and some other retailers. I can foresee the parking lot getting very packed! Anyway, so the Nordstrom's rack is on the 2nd floor. There wasn't a line for the return and wasn't a line for my purchase either. (I did get here pretty early on Sunday though). When I made my purchase, I completely forgot to give the cashier my Nordstrom's reward number and the cashier quickly got on the phone with customer service and took care of that for me. Typically this Rack is pretty good . They are always busy .The reason I gave it a low rating is the changing rooms which are now unisex. Men get one side and ladies get the other.There are very few places women go where we feel safe and can unwind and be women . I don't want to share bathrooms let alone changing rooms with men . It takes away the joy of retail therapy and makes me feel self conscious.please bring back separate dressing rooms. read more

This isn't hot topic... this is Glendale's Nordstrom rack. This is where my closest family and friends bought dresses for weddings and my grandmother comes for cozy sweaters. I'm not sure what's going on with the management or people managing the staff but where's the professionalism? I went to the store today with a girl working there with bright orange hair and goth nails.. I've worked retail for years while I was in college and every retail store had codes. A dress and hair code and definitely a professional code. Keep your weekend halloween looks for another town and your private events. I don't usually shop here. The only reason why I do come in here is because my kids make me. They seem to really like this shop. They do have good buys if you take the time to look. This time I did take time to look for flip flops, but I didn't find anything I liked. The few I did find, the price was ridiculous. Nordstrom Rack is another one of my favorite stores and a must stop whenever I'm in the area of any of their locations. Fortunatly for me, in CA alone there are more locations than anywhere else in the US. I have found countless designer duds on clearance, not quite as cheap as at TJ Maxx Runways or Loehmanns but better designers for a bit more money so it balances out, also the shape and quality is better than at other discounters, no flaws just discounted Couture, I love it! read more

Love this store for its organization, great selection in clothing, shoes and makeup, and customer service. I'm happy with the way they set up the returns and exchanges to be in a separate line from the main one. It's located in a great plaza surrounded by other fun shops. I'm almost always walking out of the store with something new, as much as I try to promise myself that I won't spend any more money...the Rack always convinces me that I'll need it! The most horrible experience! I got the dress online, paid for it to come to the store (Glendale) and to hear that it was already sold! The web site told me that the dress will be arrive on September 12, so today is September 18 and it's gone. Are you kidding me? I got it for my friends wedding. Wedding is on the next week and I don't have that dress. Worst experience, worst customer service. It took me 30 minutes to figure out that the dress was gone. Nobody didn't even return my money yet. So imagine, I paid for the dress, shipping and they just sold it. MY DRESS! Why I should spend my time to deal with them?? I'm a client, I paid for the stuff and they just sold it without even a notice. Horrible customer service! I have been your loyal client for 3 years but never again. Lost time and my nerves. It's not worth it. UPDATE: Update: I spent almost 2 hours yesterday trying to get any assistance. It's not about the dress, it's about how you treat your customers. I have been living here for 3 years and it's the first time when I'm dealing with that unprofessional and care-less approach to the client. Though i haven't shopped the Nordstrom Rack for several years i decided to check it out today as i had a hankering for some bargains. i knew that in the past i had found a Cashmere Argyle black, grey. white zipper shirt/sweater for a ridiculous price and a pair of Ferragamo tie shoes for something under 100 bucks. (they regularly sell for over 400 in the Nordy stores). I have no idea how they can offer these kinds of products for so low a price but so be it. It is what it is and i planned to check it out. They have all manner of Nordstrom products here from bed linens, shoes both mens and womens. This store sits on the second floor of a center which sits above a Ralphs Market. They feature an odd assortment of stores from a Bundt cake joint as well as a Hamburger Habit, Staples, Rubio's and a Pet store. So in essence you could buy a dog, eat a burger and fries, shop for grocery essentials and specialty stuff at World Market and buy a pack of pencils at Staples. Lots of Glendalians come here and years ago they had huge book store with a Starbucks inside that moved to the Americana on Brand farther south. Ok so back to this N Rack. It is basically a self service place so don't expect the patented Nordstrom style super service. You're on your own when looking around. But bargains abound for anyone looking carefully. Over the years i have found a lot of good stuff: shoes, sweaters, dress shirts, linens for heart stopping low prices. The service is non existent and most of the help must be trained to reply: "all we have is there. there is nothing in the back." So you are on your own. Generally speaking the store is well laid out and neat and clean but when it is prime time or just before Christmas or Easter expect to wade through piles of clothes and long lines at the check out. When and if you find something to buy you must stand in a line to pay but depending on who is running the register your wait varies. But it is worth it when you can save 100's under Nordy's store prices for high quality goods. I've actually witnessed Pasadena doyennes stepping into their chauffeur driven cars with bags of goods mostly linens and such. From wherever we come, we all recognize a bargain when we see it. Today i wasn't lucky enough to find anything and that is ok because i know that next week is probably going to be a wholly different situation. The best deals and the best goods are products that did not sell for whatever reason in their regular stores and are sent to the Rack for final sale. The not so good deals are those downscale goods that the Rack stocks to fill the shelves. The Nordstrom Rack is like an upscale swap meet: some days you will find something you want and some days you will not. read more

Shopping is an addiction that sometimes gets you in the mood to shop all day for hours on end! This is the place you should end up going to and you might find some great deals! Yes I know people need self control and I should start trying to handle that but at the moment I couldn't help myself. I needed a new "it" thing that I can use and abuse. I got what I wanted and it was from Nordstrom Rack. This place is located in Glendale next to many other popular stores such as TjMaxx, Ross, World Market and much more. The store is located on the second floor where you can take some escalators up to the store. I gladly glided up those escalators and reached my destination. When a girl is on a mission she needs a plan and my plan was simple...get something that will make me happy and I did! I got these slippers for walking long distances so my feet won't feel the pain! woohoo and it was at a greatly marked down price. I love it all. They also have a section filled with beauty products such as lotions, toners, perfume, make up and everything you can think of with many different brands. Nordstrom Rack doesn't carry all the brands but they do have a wide selection of them. :) If you haven't stepped foot, you need to!! read more
