This Tiffany store provides exceptional customer service. They truly went above and beyond for my husband when he purchased my anniversary gift--a beautiful Tiffany 1837 necklace. Unfortunately, we can't remember the name of the gentleman who initially helped him, but he made the entire experience memorable. My husband was treated with genuine kindness and professionalism, and he left extremely happy with both his purchase and the outstanding service. I later returned to have the necklace resized, and Parsa assisted me. He was incredibly kind, friendly, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to talk to. I wish I could give 0 stars. We went in to buy a necklace and immediately noticed the one on display was heavily scratched on both the front and back. We didn't want a damaged floor piece, so we ordered a brand-new one to pick up in store. A week went by with no update. We called, and they claimed the necklace had arrived and that they had emailed us. There was absolutely no email... When we came in, the sales associate brought out this "new" necklace. It was scratched all over again. We asked to see the original floor model, and she then brought out a truly new, flawless one from the back. At that point it was obvious they were trying to resell the defective floor piece again as a new one. The whole experience was incredibly disappointing and felt dishonest. The one star goes only to the manager, who at least listened and apologized. But after this, I would not trust this store again with any purchase. read more

This was, hands down, one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had--and the fact that it happened at a Tiffany & Co. location is honestly embarrassing for the brand. From the moment we stepped inside, we were completely ignored. There were several employees standing around with absolutely nothing to do--just talking amongst themselves or pretending to be busy--yet no one greeted us, acknowledged us, or asked if we needed help. Not even a smile. We browsed the displays for a while, and still, no one made any effort to assist us. Eventually, I approached an employee directly and politely asked if I could see a bracelet. She wouldn't even make eye contact with me the entire time. She mumbled through her response like I didn't deserve her full attention, and it honestly felt like she hated her job lol I kept thinking, is this really happening? The energy was beyond rude. I even asked if there was a waitlist and her answer was a dismissive, "I don't know, I have to ask my manager." Like--what?! So then I go to the manager, thinking I'll finally be treated with some professionalism, and he tells me there's no waitlist and offers to help. I ask to see the bracelet again, and instead of just showing it to me, he corrects me in a very weird and unnecessary tone. I brushed it off, still being respectful, and he told me to look around while he went to get it. But when he came back--with the bracelet box in hand--he didn't bring it to me. He walked right over to another woman and just started chatting her up like nothing happened. Not even a "one moment please" or "I'll be right with you"--just full-on ignored me and stood talking to her for what felt like forever. honestly, I was already done emotionally. After everything, --we're left the store & him. I left feeling completely degraded, disrespected, and honestly humiliated. No one should ever feel that way inside a store, especially one that claims to represent elegance, beauty, and timeless luxury. What I experienced was the exact opposite. I didn't feel welcomed. I didn't feel valued. I felt judged, dismissed, and invisible. The ONLY person who treated us like actual human beings was the door greeter--he was kind and professional, and I genuinely appreciated him. This experience should not be happening--period. I don't care how luxury a store is supposed to be--basic decency and customer respect should be non-negotiable. People don't walk into Tiffany's for fast fashion. We walk in for memories, meaningful gifts, etc. To be treated like I didn't belong was not only upsetting but truly shameful on their part. What an amazing experience from start to finish! I had made an appointment initially to come to this Tiffany's to shop for an engagement ring. I had provided the ring style I was looking for, my budget range, and the approximate carat weight that I wanted, and a prompt follow-up email and text was provided shortly afterwards, assigning Michael as my rep. On the day of my appointment, Michael was there to greet me when I arrived, and I was led to a private room in the back, where he had two different rings prepared for me to look at. I initially chose one of the two rings, and had him hold onto it for me while I went home to decide. A few days later while browsing Tiffany's website, I noticed another ring of specifications more closely aligned with my preference, and reached out to Michael asking if he could get ahold of the ring for me so I could examine it in person. Not only was he able to accommodate, he had the ring shipped to the store the next day so I could examine it right away. I wound up falling in love with the ring, and purchased it on the spot. Because I was planning to propose soon, he even managed to have the ring sent off for engraving and re-sizing with a rush order, so I could get it shipped back from New York in time for my proposal. After the proposal, my fiancée unfortunately needed the ring re-sized a few times before finally finding the perfect fit. Michael was there most of the trips, and personally ensured that we received amazing service, offering great, professional advice, and overall made the experience extremely memorable. We had chose to visit the Walnut Creek location during one of our re-sizings, being that the location there was closer to us, but the experience we had was quite a far cry to our trips to Palo Alto. I was shopping for birthday gifts for my daughter and wanted something special, willing to spend few thousand dollars. Walked into the store, no one greeted me or acknowledged in any way. one employee was busy with party of three, didn't even look at me. i decided to give him some time to wrap up the transaction, and also was hoping he's not the only employee available. I looked at displays all through the store for over 5 min. a female employee walked past me three times coming and going through staff only doors, never acknowledged me in any way. Making a return from a purchase in Maui was quick & painless. Walked in, stated I was making a return, they opened both boxes & credited our card back. Done I would have hoped they would have asked why I was returning two pairs of earrings, on the chance they could resolve my displeasure but they never asked. I purposefully didn't bring up the topic just to see how the experience would play out & I had decided I could live without those earrings, so it was no critical loss for me to return, but still....... So overall, this experience was OK since on the one hand, the return was easy & they ask no questions but on the other hand, they ask no questions. Today I had the pleasure of shopping at Tiffany & Co. It's been a long time since I was in this newly renovated, gorgeous architectural and design masterpiece! I love the fluidity of store and relaxed atmosphere. Zane was fabulous and helped me pick out the most perfect graduation gifts for high school and college grads, as well as, a barmitvah gift for a loved one. He was friendly, kind, patient, and made me feel very welcome! I was surprised the see the price of gold skyrocket, so I opted for lovely silver pieces but surely the grads will be delighted at their iconic Tiffany heart necklaces and the classic silver cuff links for Barmitvah. read more

Walked in the door a couple of Saturday ago to have my bracelet repaired. Full disclosure , the women who greeted us said it always best to make an appointment, but no worries and to have seat at the desk and that an associate would be there to assist me in about 5 minutes. After 20 minutes, we inquired about the wait and another associate said that a person would be there in just a few minutes. After another 20 minutes went by not one person came to check in on us. Guy at the door is rude and you could tell they did not want to let us in. Maybe we didn't fit in with his "standard". We walked in after waiting 25 min in line and the sales person asked us to open the box of the ring I wanted to exchange at the door and I had to ask if we could go fully in. No one else received that treatment in the 25 min we saw people walk in and out of the store. He stood at the door time the entire time we were outside. He walked me and my partner through "diamonds 101" as well as the different designs and options in a fun, laid back, and no pressure environment. We had a great time drinking champagne, learning, and trying on rings and found the style that my partner wanted. After the appointment, Arturo helped me to find the right size and rating for the style my partner preferred and made it very easy to narrow it down to the perfect one that fit our budget. He went above and beyond to make sure that the ring arrived in time, was the right size, and was sent to the store instead of my house to not spoil the surprise of when I was planning to propose. Arturo made the full experience as easy and stress free as possible and I will be going back to him for any future diamond purchases. The World According to Noelle Allergic Girl's Guide to Life I've liked T&C for a long time standing. Their marketing campaign with Audrey Hepburn is classic and just plain lovely. Yet, I find most T&C service just okay - nothing special. I feel like T&C service in California, Washington and Illinois just blah- like a Starbucks experience, all are the same and there is nothing fantastic about their customer service. While shopping at the Stanford Shopping Center I came here to get my engagement ring and wedding band cleaned. They took down the serial numbers from both the engagement ring and wedding bands down on a piece of paper and had me sign my name and info, etc. They have had people in the past try and get T&C to clean their jewelry for free and T&C is cracking down on those people and charging for jewelry cleaning. How tacky is that trying to get your non-Tiffany jewelry cleaned for free? People should just take it to a jeweler to be cleaned and not be so cheap. At the customer service area they clearly post the cleaning prices for T&C Jewelry. All Tiffany engagement and wedding bands are cleaned free of charge. While waiting for my jewelry to be cleaned, I browsed around the store. I was barely greeted and then had to hunt a salesperson down to ring up my purchase. The people at the customer service area are much nicer, attentive and professional than the people in the main store area. We are in our late 20s / early 30s and were dressed nicely and not being loud, but the sales person at this branch rudely ignored us (we were standing right in front of this person and clearly looked like we needed help). This person instead decided to direct their attention toward the heterosexual couples and families in the branch (it really wasn't that busy of a day). How did that sales person know that we weren't going to shell out right there and then to purchase something expensive? Even if we didn't, shouldn't they want to start warming us up to the idea of paying a return visit with our fiances? Tiffany says they are trying to cater to a younger, less traditional demographic. OUCH! I went into this Tiffany & Co. expecting so much more given their high price tag on nearly everything. I called first and the woman was really nice on the phone, but when I get the in the store, things changed rapidly. The price she quoted me on the phone suddenly changed $500 more in the store due to her mistake. I spoke with the manager who wouldnt honor the price given on the phone even though her associate incorrectly gave me the wrong price. Further, I was waiting in the customer service / service area and WOW! There was a line of 5-6 women or so all very upset with their purchases..All with the same / similar complaints. Their jewelry wasnt holding up and breaking in just a year of use. The best part is that Tiffany only has a year warranty on their goods (not lifetime!) and you pay a huge premium for components that dont hold up. I heard the same complaint from many other friends too that tiffany is just overpriced and not worth the price tag - not even close. Id advise going elsewhere. read more

Horrible customer service. I have had my Tiffany jewelry polished at other locations, mainly in SF but the experience at this location was just.. no. Walked in to see if I could get my titanium ring polished as it had been awhile. The only greet I got was from the friendly doorman. Upon entry, no one greeted me even though I made eye contact with multiple employees, of which I gave smiles to (kill them with kindness, right?). Never was approached once to see if I needed help with anything. Maybe it was because I wasn't dressed as bougie as the other patrons but what else did I really expect from Palo Alto. After waiting about 20 minutes in line at the customer service area (which is in the back, mind you, and super cramped with people and their strollers and small children), I finally approached the counter and asked if I could have a complimentary polish for my titanium ring. The lady working scoffed and said they "couldn't do much" because of the material, however I have had this ring polished at various other locations without issues nor the attitude. She then said they'll "see what they can do" and gave me a slip to come back with. Upon re-entry, same thing. Wasn't greeted nor approached. Terrible terrible terrible service and obviously selective about who they give basic customer service to. Retrieved my ring, which I guess was in OK condition, idk if they even TRIED polishing it, but I will never return to this location again. Made an appointment to get my earring cleaned and bracelet adjusted, and also to shop. The lady approached us as we walked in wasn't friendly. As soon as she found out that I was here for service, she just pointed us to the customer service. She wasn't even interested in knowing that we were also there to shop. We then let her know that we made the appointment also to shop. She just said to let her know when we need her. By having an appointment, we expect the sale person to fully dedicate their time and attention while we are there, not just to let us alone and go to help other customers. She didn't even introduce her name. Such a poor service that I've never experienced at any Tiffany's, or high end jewelry stores. Came here to get my necklace repaired since it was under warranty and I had a great experience. I came on a Saturday afternoon a little after lunch to try to get my necklace repaired. As soon as I walked in I was greeted right away and guided to what I needed. I went straight to customer service and rang the bell and the employee came right away. She was very helpful and kind! As soon as I sat down she offered me bottled water to drink. Then she began to address my issue and checked the system to see if my necklace had a warranty and I did. She walked me through the process and took it to the back to ship it out to get repaired. I am really thrilled with their service and even impressed how kind the employees were. I confess it was my first time entering inside a Tiffany (I went with a girlfriend, I am not into high end jewelry and always feel like the sellers are going to push you to buy). My friend and I were attracted by the nice display and the, surprise to us, abundance of 'young looking designs'. Tiffany does not seem to cater 'grandma jewelry' but all the opposite. I loved most of the silver pieces I saw, very contemporary and eclectic, and no questions asked.
