Love the team at this store! So friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming! Also very pet friendly!! Not sure who enjoyed the visit more - me or my pups!!! My bougie pups enjoyed their Evian water courtesy of Cartier. Really good selection at this location - watches, jewelry, limited edition items - even leather goods and perfumes. Sales associate MELODY was very helpful in showing me different items in line with the collections I liked. They had good inventory despite holidays so they had the sizes I was looking for.

I stopped by the other day in the evening with my sister. She was looking for an engagement ring that fits her lifestyle. I did not make an appointment and we waited a few minutes before a representative come to help us. While waiting, I asked to see an agenda or pocket planners if they had any. Unfortunately they only had one desk agenda for me to see. I was told to check online, but I wanted to see these in person before purchasing online. Florence came to help us. I told Florence that my sister is looking for a minimal look. Something not flashy. I was looking at wedding bands for my sister but Florence made a suggestion and it was perfect for her! Unfortunately they didn't have inventory for white gold/platinum so she was able to try on rose gold only. We asked for her business card and asked that she write down information on the ring my sister liked. I also asked to try on the love ring for myself. I've never tried these in-person so Florence helped me figure out my size. I ended up loving the mini for my pinky ring. I did not want to give it back after trying it on. I foresee a future purchase! Overall, we had a pleasant experience with Florence. She is patient and well spoken. She did not pressure us to make a purchase. I love it when sales reps are not pushy. I did told her we would be trying on a few items since we did not have a lot of time that day. A pleasant experience, I must say!

I don't wear jewelry other than my watch so I didn't know much about Cartier's jewelry prior to my appointment at the Palo Alto store. I watched a YT video on the history of Cartier prior to my visit and was surprised it was a family-owned business spanning 150 years before turning into an international brand and eventually becoming a wholly owned subsidiary of the Swiss Richemont Group. The appointment was on a Saturday and the store was buzzing and filled with people. I can see the appeal of the atmosphere, the tea and champagne, the salesperson interaction etc. I thought the Panthere ring was cool and unique but went home with the Love ring in platinum as planned. Pros: Friendly service, interesting pieces, and the boujie shopping experience. Cons: Pricey but I guess you get what you pay for and the brand itself is unique.

I walked in with no appointment and was helped very quickly. This was on a Monday evening around 6 PM. I was looking for a watch and was able to try on a few different models. I was stuck between the Ronde and Tank must. Luckily my SA Wen helped me think through a decision. She's great! The tank must watch was a pre order and I recently Picked it up has it sized and the time set! Very excited about my watch!

I walked in without an appointment, and amanda greeted me and was so incredibly friendly. She asked if I had shopped at the location before, knew what I was looking for or had interest in, she was super accommodating to show me different styles and answer all my questions. We went over bracelets, and sizes. Pros and cons. How to stack, what's a good starter piece, and how to care for your jewelry and all that fun stuff. She didn't push anything, offered me a beverage, and took her time really explaining things I wanted to know. Ultimately I walked out with two bracelets I had been saving for and eyeing for awhile. I'm so thrilled with my purchase. I'm excited to be able to have these timeless pieces and maybe down the road I'll add more pieces, and of course with amanda.

It's probably the best bet to get a gift that is cute and unique but you want it to lean more towards being western and not too kawaii and anime. Think of gifting a punny keychain or cute Jellycat versus a Chiikawa plushie or anime acrylic if that makes sense. Meaning that it's probably easier and maybe more acceptable to get a slightly more normie a gift here than it is elsewhere. As you can see, I'm learning what it's like to touch grass and re-integrate into human society. There's a good number of plushies, Jellycat and unique ones like a pink fairy armadillo mole one, tote bags and socks, nice range of jewelry, lots of California themed goods if you're looking for souvenirs that aren't mega generic, and they have a lot of other items as well. As with the quality and high regard some of these items have (Jellycats are NOT cheap), it can be a bit pricier, so make sure that you shop around and check prices elsewhere and that you actually truly care about the person you're getting stuff for and it's not a forced obligation one (family member you're ugh with or coworker Secret Santa that you barely know). Maybe a couple cute things I had my eye on, but it wasn't really for me (speaks volumes about me), but I can see how a store like this works in a pinch if you're gift shopping.

I was intrigued by them and thought we could use something similar for the empty space above our fireplace at home. I wanted to hang some kind of art other than a painting there, anyway. I did some research online and found similar art work on Etsy. However, I wasn't comfortable ordering online for something the size we wanted without seeing their actual work in person. When our daughter was in town at the end of March, we went to Terrain again to get her opinion and to discuss with the staff there in more detail before deciding to order a single custom art piece. We talked to one of their designers, Reid, about the different options, and told her our budget, the size, the wood pieces and decorative elements we liked. Reid was incredible and so easy to work with. She sent us photos of her beautiful initial design of the moss art base and some decorative options after about a week. After exchanging a couple emails and talking on the phone with her, we stopped by to look at some of the elements in person as we're in the area that day, anyway. We loved how Reid refined the piece based on our feedback, and always kept us posted on any changes in price estimates. The end result looked stunning! When we picked up the moss art, another staff took great care in finding a large box and wrapping it so that we could bring the piece back home safely. We really appreciated it. I signed up for Terrain text message and got a 10% off code. They honored it at the store, as well. Every time we're in the store, we always found something interesting to look at, and the staff were super friendly. It's been more than 6 months, and the moss art still looks great. We love it!

I then sat for several minutes waiting for assistance with a return, only to be spoken to in a dismissive manner once someone finally approached me. There were only two customers in the store at the time, so the lack of service was especially disappointing. Afterward, I followed up with my SA, who has always provided excellent service, and my concerns were escalated to management. Unfortunately, instead of taking accountability for how I was treated, Salvador responded with an email attempting to justify the behavior by implying the team was busy assisting others. That explanation simply did not reflect the reality of the situation. I responded respectfully, emphasizing that accountability matters and expressing hope that this could serve as a learning opportunity for the staff. I also clarified that my experience should not be attributed to high traffic when the store was clearly not busy. I never received a response. At this point, I question how thoroughly my complaint was actually reviewed. It feels easier for staff to claim they were occupied than to acknowledge poor customer service and address it honestly.

The new layout is awkward and cramped. As soon as you walk in, there's a wall of handbags and a large jewelry counter that leaves very little space to move around. It felt crowded and uncomfortable. We were initially helped by one associate who began showing us bags, but she left to check someone in and returned to tell us to use the iPad, telling my mom to browse the bags digitally instead. My mom clearly said she wanted to physically see the bags in person, but the associate kept insisting on us using the iPad to read information we weren't interested in. If we wanted to shop online, we wouldn't have driven out of town. Eventually another associate, Erica, took over. Unfortunately, her customer service was extremely off-putting. She brought out gloves for my mom to use but was inconsistent about the policy, going back and forth about whether they were required, while no other customers in the store were wearing gloves while looking at bags. It felt incredibly selective. Even if that is the policy the first associate didn't have us use gloves while we handled a DIOR bag nor was anyone else in the store using gloves. I recommend getting staff up to the same page and watch your manners instead of wincing if I touch the hardware on a Gucci bag?? She never offered me gloves either my mom and I decided to share a glove either. At one point Erica stopped using gloves and was like "only some of the bags you need gloves for" After looking at another bag we asked Erica to scan a bag for us, ERICA became distracted by a customer that just walked in trying to get someone to see his ring. Since she wasn't paying attention, my mom tried attaching the strap to the bag with her gloves on and Erica snatched the bag away from my mom and said, "Can you just" so she could scan it. Unfortunately, the experience never improved. We came in ready to shop and left feeling disrespected. We ended up leaving with one bag because we came all this way for the bags. For a luxury resale company, the service should reflect professionalism and care. This experience did not.
