Waited 3 hours. Really? Then it cost a bunch! Do they not value my time? I even said I'll drop her off and come back.

They were able to handle my cat, a very skittish kitty, and were all polite and thorough. A bit expensive though.

My dog was handled roughly, resulting in expressed anal glands and poorly clipped nails. To add insult to injury, I was still charged for the service. Other times I requested to have his nails trimmed, I would have to ask repeatedly before it got done. I'm extremely disappointed with the service I received from the kennel in April. I boarded my dog for five days and specifically requested a flea and tick bath, ice cream, photographs, and a massage. However, when I picked him up, I was told that the photos were sent to my landline number the day of pickup. To add insult to injury, I found a huge tick on my dog's shoulder that evening, which makes me question whether he even received the flea and tick bath. The kennel offered me a refund for the photos, but I never received it or even the photos. When I called to check on him, someone other than the front desk person answered after the 9th attempt and told me that my dog was 'NOW okay', which really upset me because I had been worried about him. I asked them to explain, and they suggested that I talk to somebody else. So, they got that person, and they essentially gaslighted me into thinking that my dog was fine. However, when I called back, I was told that the groomer had answered the phone and didn't know my dog or what was going on with him. I'm not sure what to believe - was the groomer telling the truth, or was she just saying that to cover for everyone else? I should've listened to my dog when he got on the counter and asked me to hold him. I didn't regretfully. My dog's "4th of July dog party" experience was a real bite - literally! Despite promises of photos and fun, my dog was absent from the pics, and I later discovered puncture wounds and welts on his neck and back. What's concerning is that the staff never disclosed the cause of these injuries, whether it was a fight or just a play bite from another dog. Furthermore, there was no mention of this on the daily report card they provide when I pick up my dog. When I asked for photos of my dog, they never posted any and deleted my comment. They claimed my dog ran away from the camera while simultaneously posting dogs running. This lack of transparency has me worried about the care my dog is receiving. After pickup from daycare, he often has a hoarse bark and needs to urinate urgently. Even urinating by the front door as we exited. I've also noticed he's extremely thirsty, drinking up to 16 ounces of water in the parking lot before going home. They have photos of him foaming at the mouth in the play yard. Sometimes he barks nonstop on the ride home, only to need to poop as soon as we get home. Don't kennels usually take dogs out to pee and poop within 12 hour time frame? Little inconsistencies in care can add up fast whenever it comes to your pets needs. Posted on the front door is a sign stating they only offer holistic and safe items, but they've installed tires and recycled tire materials for the dogs to play and run on. Tires are not holistic or natural. Artificial turf can heat up to a scorching 180 degrees in the summer. I would suggest you do some research before you start using this facility. *5 star Google reviews from current employees like the one left by Saryn_1 is a conflict of interest.

I was also worried about our dog potentially escaping but after walking through the facility, it doesn't really seems like that's even a possibility. We would definitely return to this place and honestly the prices here are pretty low. Oh and our dog shredded the blanket we left with her and they gave her one of their own blankets.

Future customers beware!…read more I didn't want to do this, but I don't want anyone else to go through this. We put our dog into boarding at Pine Ridge Pet Resort for 5 days. We put him there because we knew he wouldn't have been able to get out and run away. We felt safe with him there and thought they would treat him as their own. When we went and picked him up, we expected him to be excited to see us, that wasn't the case at all. The first thing that he did was run outside and go potty and he stood there for a good few minutes, like he had been holding it for a while. When we walked him out he looked wet but didn't really think about it until he went to put him in the car and he smelt horrible. After checking him out, he was covered in urine and feces!!!! We came home and called them and asked what the deal was, this was their response "We didn't want to get bit by him so we didn't give him a bath, and he sat under the bed the whole time" We asked "why did you think he was going to bite you? Was he growling or showing his teeth?" Their response" No, it was nothing like that". After it was all said and done, we finally got ahold of the owner and all she said was "I don't want my girls to get bit" and was cussing us out. So how in the hell do you think you are going to get bit by a dog if they are just laying under their bed shaking. He was freaking scared!!! I know exactly what he does when he is scared. He has never growled or shown his teeth to anyone. If he doesn't like someone, he we go and hide. Even if he were to growl, they should be trained to know what to do in that situation, like possibly muzzle him and not just let him sit in his own bodily waste! One picture is just for cuteness, the others are just the pictures of what he looked like after he was picked up. From the smell you could tell he had been sitting in it for days.

Wanted to go up and…read morespend Easter with family in NW Indiana but had to find someone to take care of our two older cats. Not super comfortable asking our new neighbors or friends of a friend, so we shopped around for professional sitters. We had read about Bloomington Pet Sitters in Bloom Magazine and checked out online reviews. We called Russell and he came by and took detailed notes about our cats care and feeding. He was very easy to work with, it was like talking to an old friend. He made us feel very secure and gave us peace of mind to go ahead with our travel plans. The folks who took care of our cats did a great job, everything was clean and tidy when we got home. Mail had been brought in. They left a sweet note about the cats. The price they charge is very reasonable and they just leave you a bill on the last day of the visit. The other thing we like is that if they do not hear from you that you are back, they will go ahead and keep coming to take care of your pets. This is great if you get stuck at an airport or have some other travel delay. We look forward to using Bloomington Pet Sitters whenever we travel. Great local business!

Of course, I was nervous at first. I had never used a pet sitting service; neighbors and family had always stepped in the few days in the past, here and there, that I was away from home. Like many, my pets are my family. Stacey provided the reassurance I needed, by replying to my messaging, and overall communications were excellent. When a kitty became ill, they administered medicine. And, in fact, even took one to the vet, with my coordination from afar. When food and kitty litter ran low, they shopped for the same brands, and just added it to my bill. I could not recommend them more. They have provided the peace of mind I needed so that I could go off and do what I needed to do. Kitties and I are together again, but I just wanted to write a short note of appreciation.
