This place has been around forever and I constantly heard good things about it, so when my mother-in-law suggested going on New Years Day, I was happy to take the trip. Our party of 6 ordered a bunch of apps and they were all outstanding. The entrees were also very good. I was pleasantly surprised with how creative their menu is. They have the traditional plates that you can get at any takeout place, but also offer a variety of adventurous dishes. Even my dad, who isn't the biggest fan of Asian food, cleared his plate and left satisfied. The peanut sauce they use on their dumplings is to die for, and I loved the pineapple fried rice I got as an entree. The prices are also reasonable. I ordered takeout from here tonight, and I was not impressed. I heard great things about Blossom and I was so excited to try it out, but my meal was average at best. I probably would have given it 2 stars, but I only tried 2 things so maybe I just didn't order the right things. I got the Angry Lobster roll and miso soup. The miso soup was so bland. It basically just tasted like hot water with some tofu in it. The lobster roll was nothing to write home about either. Being charged $17 for 1 roll I expected a lot more. Instead I got a small roll with a tiny bit of lobster in it, avocado, and spicy tuna on top. All I could taste was the spicy tuna and it was just average. Horrible service and the food got two of us sick while sitting there. When we walked in, we were greeted with a stench that should have turned us away without eating. However, we stayed against my better judgment. The servers were not pleasant, and the restaurant had very few diners... again, clues we should have left. I ordered shrimp shu mai, shrimp tempura roll, and a godzilla roll, all items I try at sushi spots. That was honestly the biggest mistake! My husband tried my food and we both became sick. We went for dinner on October 12 and as always had a delicious dinner. Yellowtail jalapeño and tuna Tartare appetizers and several sushi rolls and sashimi. As we were eating two people six tables away were loudly video chatting and disturbing outer guests like it was a park. Our waitress walked over to the table and kindly ask them to keep it down. Immediately, these women causing the disturbance got even louder and started saying that she and the establishment were racist. (because they were black). This is so far from true. I went to Blossom Asian Bistro for lunch with coworkers. As I don't eat sushi, I wanted to order something from the kitchen. I searched for reviews on the pad Thai and saw that someone woke up with stomach pains and food poisoning so I settled for the pineapple fried rice with shrimp. Lo and behold, I woke up with stomach pains and food poisoning this morning! Also, that was possibly the blandest fried rice I've ever tasted. It was lacking one minor detail... SOY SAUCE!! I tried their food for the first time last night. The woman who took our order was very helpful and made a few suggestions. I tried their thai steamed dumplings with peanut sauce. They were very good. I also had their chicken & eggplant; which was excellent, with just the right amount of spice. Their entrees come with soup making it a little bonus. Their egg drop soup has corn and chicken in it; which, I enjoyed. I also had some of their sushi rolls. Very fresh and great presentation. Its quite refreshing to deal with pleasant & couteous staff, unlike most of the other rudeness in the local area. I will definitely be back. This is my new go to place for now. I went to Blossom Asian Bistro to celebrate my daughter's 16th Bday on Saturday. I found them through Google as one of the top best restaurant in Wayne. I liked the decor, cleanliness, and calm atmosphere. Waitresses were polite and food was given to everyone at our 8 people party without delay. Food was absolutely delicious and made with fresh ingredients. Everyone said it was the best Asian food they ever had. I recommend calamari and sushi rolls. Tried this place due to the ratings on Yelp. FYI: it says $$ but each entree is well over $17-$20... and I don't know if that deserves a $$. Below are the reasons why I do not like eating at places that serve Japanese, Thai, Chinese and all other ethnic cuisine in one stop shop. I don't recommend anyone trying out sushi/sashimi if you are into freshness and taste but, if you're a noobie, you are welcome to keep eating raw fish in hole-in-the-walls. Started off with some crispy salmon, shrimp and calamari rolls (I am testing how well they do with simple dishes before I get into more complicated ones) - They put too little fish and too much fried crisp/crumbs (feels like I'm eating a cracker with rice. - The seaweed was too mushy in the roll (if you don't know what I am talking about in terms of quality, contact me and I can recommend you some nice sushi places in NYC or in the Westcoast if you get a chance to get out there) Yaki Udon - Typical Yaki Udon seasoning .. you can't really go wrong even if you were to make it at home so my rating on this is... average Pad Thai - Good portion but literally tasted like they used Pho noodles with some tomato sauce. I know good Thai food and this was more Italian. Hit me up b/c I know some great recommendations for Thai as well Overall: 2 Stars and why? Atmosphere was ok but food was fail.. good attempt though. If you want to pay for expensive fast food chinese, so so japanese and terrible Thai, please do come again! If not.. avoid this location in Wayne (although I heard other locations were pretty good). My criteria for lunch is a good sized portion and quick service. Tried this place for lunch based on a recommendation and Blossom does meet that criteria. Firstly and most important, the service here was excellent. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and quick. Foodwise, I ordered the lunch noodles with chicken. The portion of food was large enough that I couldn't finish it. However, I wasn't really a fan of the chicken as it was rubbery because it was probably boiled. The mean will run you about 7 to 10 bucks. We'll have to see how the other dishes stack up. read more

My first time here and I was very pleased. I am fairly new to Wayne and have been trying to find a place with good hot and sour soup... Ive tried at least 4 other places and have been disappointed.. However I don't have to look any more-- the hot and sour soup here was on point! Very tasty. I also tried the route 23 roll and the dreamy lobster roll- both of which were very delicious. Restaurant is in a shopping strip so parking is adequate. Food is decent but a bit pricy then average. Service was below average, felt like the server wasn't real paying attention. Go there if you don't have better options. I probably wouldn't go out of my way to go there again. read more

And what a time to open because it really showcased the food to everyone in town and wow was the response! Clean cooking, delicious food. Reasonable prices. BYOB. Nice atmosphere. Sushi/Food is fresh. As for the brown rice. It's got flavor and texture and is amazing. MY FAMILY LOVES THE BROWN RICE! So y'all can hate it so we can have it all to ourselves! We've eaten several items on this menu and had loved 99% if it. The only eh is the chicken Lettuce wraps and I've heard they are better so maybe they've improved. I love it here. So will you. First time visiting was on a Friday night. Arrived at 7pm with no reservation and only waited about 10 minutes. Food is awesome and very fresh. Presentation of food is also very unique. Avocado salad was fantastic. Had a bunch of rolls and some sashimi and sushi. All fantastic. Prices are moderate. Some items are priced fairly while others I found to be a bit over priced. Only downfall is I think they are completely understaffed. Our waiter was very nice and friendly but was a bit nonexistent cause of other obligations. Hire more people. I'm normally loyal to Lee's Sushi, but I wanted to try out Blossom, since it was new (at least since the last time I'd been to Wayne). The food was really good. It was a fresh, simple but strong flavors, and very veggie heavy. If it was just the food, it would have been perfect. However, the noise level was WAY too loud. With tile floors, wood chairs, and uncovered walls, there was nothing to absorb the sound, so even a few people in there makes the place incredibly loud. It was also uncomfortably cold in there--I kept chugging down green tea to keep warm. Service was definitely slow--but tolerable. Definitely a solid spot for Chinese food. We ordered the general Taos chicken and Bangkok beef. Both were very good. They specifically stated that they used white meat chicken and they definitely did. Also, I'm super picky with chicken and I hate when it's fatty or has those little pieces of "crunch". I had dinner here 12/24/17. I've eaten here about 7 times over the last few years and have never been disappointed. Excellent sushi, always fresh along with some creative sushi items. Wide selection of Asian dishes from Japan, Malaysia, Thailand, China, India and even serves some American dishes and salads. Comfortable seating, good for groups, also has separate sushi bar seating. My Family and I have dined at Blossom for well over a year now. We usually would switch between Blossom and Lee's across the street. Blossom tends to have nicer ambiance, but lee's has better sushi. I ordered some Chicken Pad Thai from Blossom the other night, half way though eating it, i realized something was off and didn't finish anymore. I awake to the most painful stomach ache i have ever endured. I can only believe that i received food poisoning from them, and still 3 days later still feel nausea. In all honesty, i would avoid eat here as i also know they only get fish delivery once, twice a week max and you can taste it. Will not dine here again. read more

I like this place with the variety of foods they serve that are Asian. It is quiet and the workers are kind and easy to understand. I am a vegetarian and there are tofu options as well as other types of foods I can eat here. My whole family enjoys eating here and it is not expensive either considering how much they fill me up! I hope to go back more often, but I have only been here a small amount of times, but definitely more than once!! read more
