Reuben Sandwich with sweet potato fries.
    Monica P.

Girls lunch out today at Blossoms Restaurant. All but three had dined here before. It's a casual and relaxing place for lunch. You can sit inside our outside on the covered patio. Decent menu with salads, sandwiches, soups, and several appetizers. I ordered the Reuben sandwich. Others ordered the Philly cheese steak sandwich and salads with either chicken or salmon. One friend was slightly disappointed with the Magnolia salad (with chicken). She said it lacked a few of the ingredients from the one she had before several months ago; and stated she wouldn't order it again. I really enoyed the Reuben sandwich, served on rye bread. There was a decent amount of corned beef, which was very flavorful, along with the cheese and sauerkraut. The sandwich wasn't loaded with the 1000 dressing, which I liked. I don't like to eat sloppy sandwiches. The other two entrees were good according to my friends. As a side, two of us had the sweet potato fries. Yum!!! They were perfect! Holly, our waitress, was on her second day at the restaurant. She was very patient with our questions about the menu and wine choices. We ordered a bottle of wine at half price. Really good deal, although the wine wasn't the best around. We plan to do a monthly girls afternoon out and will keep Blossoms Restaurant on our list.

A cute, bougie spot nestled right up against the golf course. When it comes to a classic southern breakfast, they do the job. The menu is smaller and not particularly exciting, and they don't have a lot of low-carb or otherwise healthy choices. Ask for an omelette without cheese or prepare to have more cheese than egg. However, they have probably the best grits I've ever tasted. If you're going to carb-o-load, I am a fan of this option. The place has a lot of regulars and I can see why. Service is prompt and warm, and the prices make sense. They also have karaoke on Thursday nights.

PROS: Great brunch, great price, not too crowded, clean, friendly service, southern comfort vibe, golf course view, open to public, great breakfast option in Leland! We had two meals, a side, 4 coffees all for $20 CONS: food took a little long I wouldn't come if your in a rush, simple menu, lots of old folk(not a bad thing just no one under 50), quite a drive through a suburban neighborhood to get to.

There was about a 15-minute wait, which wasn't bad considering how busy weekend mornings seem to be here. We ordered the Hash Benedict, Classic Benny, Croissant Style Donuts, and the Chimi Steak Scrambler with cheesy scrambled eggs, grilled marinated skirt steak, avocado, tomatoes, toast, and home fries. Every dish was well prepared and exactly what we were hoping for. The benedicts had perfectly cooked poached eggs with rich hollandaise sauce, the Chimi Steak Scrambler was hearty and flavorful, and the croissant-style donuts were a fun, sweet treat to share at the table. Because the restaurant was so busy, the food didn't come out immediately, but the wait was completely reasonable and never felt excessive. The staff did a great job keeping everyone moving, and our server was exceptional. She was friendly, attentive, and checked in on us throughout the meal despite having a full section. Overall, I'd give Eggs Up Grill 4/5 stars. The combination of great food, outstanding service, and a welcoming atmosphere made for an excellent brunch. I'd definitely come back the next time I'm in Leland and would recommend it to anyone looking for a dependable breakfast or brunch spot.

I ordered the blackened catch of the day tacos, and they were delicious--the fish was seasoned just right, and the mango salsa gave them the perfect fresh, sweet kick. The side salad was crisp and fresh, and everything came out quickly. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. The fried okra did not taste fresh at all, kind of mushy and didn't have parm on it, 4.5 out of 10. The mussels were a HIT!! Great flavor, lots of buttery sauce, 9.0 The roasted red pepper and crab bisque had a really nice flavor, but alas, there was about 2 teaspoons of crab in it. So sad, 7.0 The shrimp and grits tasted good, but that's a high bar, being you should be making a great shrimp & grits if you put it on your menu in this part of the country. It's not near as good as I've had around here, but still, 7.0 Both the girls had the salmon with risotto. Risotto was good, but both pieces of fish were overcooked. If your a seafood place, cooking the fish correctly is a must. Sorry, 5.0 My son had the flounder and, again, the crab tasted like it was canned and the fish was overcooked, 4.0 Since Yelp only has 5 stars instead of 10, I had to mark down so people wouldn't think it was a good meal. 3 out of 5 is just above average. Sorry Cape.

It was great weather this night, so we opted for an outside table that was in total shade. Very comfortable. Our server came by for drink orders. We had no appetizers this visit and went right into entrees. We tried the Port City Burger, the Gnocchi with chicken, cilantro lime shrimp quesadillas and the salmon tacos. Everything was delicious. The only complaint I would have is that the Salmon Tacos was a bit small. The dish is two small tacos with a side of tortilla chips. There is no salsa, no pico de gallo, no slaw. I was actually sorry that I didn't get an appetizer. I was still a little hungry after I finished. We didn't want any of the dessert offered this time. Again, everything was great. Service, food, atmosphere, outside patio. Just my dish was a little less in size. I will keep that in mind next time we visit. I'm not sure something like this would be changed on the menu, but I still wanted to voice my opinion. Still a great place with a great menu and service. If the weather is good, opt for the patio. It is really nice sitting out there.

A table arrived after we got our appetizers and got their food, a box, paid, and left before we even ordered our entrees. Each drink took minimum of 15 minutes and were incorrect. What a fantastic evening at Dram Yard…read more We were a little concerned we might miss our 5:30 reservation after getting delayed by a seven-car accident on the bridge, but we arrived just a couple of minutes late and it wasn't an issue at all. From the moment we arrived, the experience was relaxed, welcoming, and exactly what we needed. We chose to sit in the beautiful courtyard, and with temperatures in the 70s, sunshine overhead, and a gentle breeze, it couldn't have been a more perfect setting. The outdoor gazebo bar creates a wonderful atmosphere for enjoying a cocktail before dinner, and if the weather isn't cooperating, the indoor dining space is equally inviting. A special thank you to Sarah, whose service was outstanding. She was cheerful, attentive, and genuinely seemed happy to be there. The restaurant wasn't crowded, which made for a peaceful and unhurried dining experience. For drinks, I ordered the Ghost Town, while my wife enjoyed the Venus Flytrap. Both were beautifully prepared and easy to see why they're among the restaurant's popular cocktails. The food was equally impressive. I had the Spaghetti Carbonara, and it was exceptional. The kitchen even accommodated my request for extra freshly cracked black pepper, which took an already excellent dish to another level. My wife ordered the Little Gem Salad with shrimp, and it was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. We also shared the Tuna Tartare Tostada, which was outstanding--beautiful presentation, fresh tuna, and a great balance of textures and flavors. Adding to the experience was a bottle of Albariño that paired wonderfully with the meal. What stands out most about Dram Yard is its atmosphere. It's the kind of place where you can settle in, slow down, enjoy a handcrafted cocktail, and forget about the stresses of the day. Whether you're looking for a date night, an evening with friends, or simply a quiet place to relax, Dram Yard delivers. Excellent service, creative cocktails, outstanding food, and one of the most relaxing outdoor dining spaces in Wilmington. We'll definitely be back.

We each got a bowl of gazpacho, an appetizer size portion of two very small duck lumpia followed by tile fish with flat noodles and a savory broth. The course then was a shared short rib that was entirely fat/gross, one smal grilled onion and two tiny empanadas to share . Desert was a small scoop of ice cream and small crumble type cobbler to share. We in no way felt like it was $90, the portions were not enough to sustain us and we felt incredibly cheated and somehow conned/robbed of over $200 for each of us couples out. Very disappointing!

This is located very centrally in downtown Wilmington and offers parking validation so don't be discouraged about the parking situation. There's a lot on the side you're free to use. We were seated right away on a weeknight and it was actually pretty full for being a weeknight. They have a good amount of space though. Millie was our server and she was a sweetheart. She was on it from start to finish. Checked in on us very regularly and provided above and beyond service. She contributed to our excellent experience. Fried chicken had to be ordered as it sounded so good and it definitely didn't disappoint. It comes with two sides and all of the sides were fresh. Portions were super hearty and generous. Chicken was fried to a crisp, in a good way!! The chicken sandwich was also great, but the fries are also very memorable, incredibly fresh. Tl;dr - If you come here for their main event - chicken and fries - it's very good. Anything else,…read moredon't waste your time. Vegetarians need not bother. 3.5? I was not in love but I think there are some caveats there because I am not the typical customer. First, we appear to have come right at the height of their dinner rush. It took a while to get seated. The hosts told us to sit at the bar and then the bartender kicked us out of our stools because we were waiting for a table and apparently the bar stools were only for people who were eating, so we had to go find a bench. When we did get seated they put us at a really weird high top in a separate room when there was a much nicer low top available in the main room that we switched to. I got the sense both that this place was kind of hectic and that they didn't think they needed our service. But then as we were eating it cleared out all of a sudden and we were the only people left at like...8 pm. Our server was...accetptable. Not rude, but kind of short. Compared to the lovely personable service we got at other places in Wilmington it felt...I dunno, New Yorky? Then there was the food. And here comes my biggest caveat. I am pescstarian and do not eat chicken. So I ordered a shrimp po boy. It was not good. Not bad. But not good. Especially for the price which, honestly, competed with the prices where I live in DC. Every other person around me ordered chicken. My husband ordered chicken. He really liked his chicken. So obviously, this is a place where you get chicken (if the name didn't make it obvious). Had I ordered chicken I likely would have enjoyed my meal a lot more. But if you have shrimp po boys on the menu, endeavor to make them decent or take them off. Also I subbed a side cesar instead of fries and it was an afterthought. The fries themselves were excellent. If I ate chicken and came back to Wilmington I would maybe give this place another shot but as it stands, nah.
