Great little restaurant for homemade burgers and bbq. Also great place for a quick bite to eat.

Great little greasy spoon diner! Burger & fries with a good old fashioned Coke in a glass bottle; classic!

We were up visiting Downtown Wilmington from Florida and were looking for a place we couldn't eat back home. Spotted this one while driving along and decided to give it a try! Great place, really know how to make a burger. The food was outstanding, especially the crinkle fries. The burgers were handmade to perfection! The hand squeezed lemonade was also terrific. The staff was very pleasant and courteous. All-in-all, I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to try hometown burgers.

A luncheonette - not a diner. Menu is more limited than a typical diner - usual breakfast items, sandwiches, burgers, a few entrees - fried flounder, a seafood combo for $8.95 was the most expensive menu item. Counter on the right as you enter, booths on the left - red vinyl. Decor is very dated - maybe circa 1980? No music, no TV. One server and one short-order cook at breakfast today - both older Southern ladies. Only a few customers - this town sleeps in late - I saw very few people downtown at 8:30 on a weekday. I did not see this place open on the weekend. I believe that they do breakfast and lunch only weekdays. I had eggs, bacon, toast, grits, coffee - less than $6.00 with the tax. Food was good enough. Service was friendly and food came out quickly. Good place for cheap eats.

Food was decent. Husband didn't like the F french toast. Son didn't like the pancakes. Tried them to find out why. They tasted like pork sausage like the grill needed to be clean. The lady their was not friendly to us although she was to all the men went in. She made the experience bad. Took 40 minutes to get our food and we were the first and only in the building at the time until individual men started coming in and she tended to them

One of my top breakfast and lunch spots in downtown Wilmington. Burgers are cooked fresh to order as with everything else on the menu.

Park your car in the gravel lot and step inside. Let Winnie's stellar burgers tell you about this place. Winnie's is a small establishment. Be prepared for a wait during peak hours. I came on the tail end of the "lunch rush" and saw most tables occupied. My mom and I were seated promptly, thankfully, and my server was prompt. She was happy to hear about how we found Winnie's and that we are looking forward to trying their signature burgers. I ordered a miniature Carolina Burger and my mother ordered a full-size Station Wagon Burger. The Station Wagon is Winnie's take on a Mushroom Swiss. My burger has chili and slaw between the patty. Both our patties are thick and juicy. The cajun fries have a kick to them and are worth trying out. We saved half our burgers to take home along with a take-out order of two more burgers. Our visit yielded four meals and two happy bellies.

The flavor was great the caramelized onions with the Oklahoma sauce was a great pairing. The burger itself was juicy and had a good flavor. One of the better burgers I've had honestly and you have a ton of toppings to choose from. My one bite score came out to a whopping 8.2/10 which is the 4th highest rated burger on my scale ever. The sweet potato wedges were amazing the cinnamon is the way to go! I was kind of disappointed with the sizing I ordered a large to split between the two of us and it wasn't enough. The 12 oz shake was amazing the only thing with that was it took forever. I was done with my food by the time the shake was done. It did look like they only have one shake machine so that could be why it took so long but the fact the I was done with my food before even seeing the shake was a bit crazy. The price of it all was a bit steep in the 40 some dollar range, but it was great. Also kinda in a random place but the vibes were great in there and the food was good I would say it is definitely worth the drive.

Located at the end of a strip mall, with plenty of parking. Come down and check this place out for yourself. The staff were awsome, kind, and polite with energetic spirits, the restaraunt was clean, and most importantly....so was the bathroom.

The Saturday special was wings & a $5 selected pint! The pint special was a Oktoberfest beer which was fun because usually it's something that isn't really worth the $5 at most places. Unfortunately, we were by the door, and it was a little chilly with people coming in and out, but I totally understand that they have to pack in tables due to being so busy. Service was friendly and quick, and they were very patient with the fact that a member of our party was late arriving. I went with the Oh Molly, which included 3 eggs, bacon, sausage, homefries, grits & a biscuit with mollasses butter. They let me sub in double bacon since I don't eat sausage. The main draw for that dish for me was the molasses butter. The molasses flavor wasn't as strong as I was hoping, but it was still really tasty. The biscuit was soft and perfect, I liked the grits, the eggs were cooked right. There was room for improvement on the hashbrowns. For such a busy spot, the gender-segregated single stall restrooms did have a bit of a wait. So, just keep that in mind. Also, when they are busy, their parking lot does fill up. We struggled a bit with parking. I'd definitely stop in again!
