This was a great experience for sure. My advice is not to order so much food. It feels light initially but it will feel so heavy hours later. Still would definitely come back. We waited in line for like 30-40 minutes. The outside seats facing the ocean was amazing. My favorite was the fried calamari and fish & chips.

Large lobster roll with 2 clam cakes excellent

Stopped in not realizing there was an outdoor seating location down the street. Ordered a large lobster roll with mayonnaise It came with 3 clam cakes. I added a white chowder for dipping my clam cakes. Excellent claw meat abundant in lobster roll , I slice lettuce just enough , roll butter toasted Very good lobster roll . Clam cakes very good but a few more clams in cake would have made them excellent Chowder was ok, needed more clams , I prefer a pepper , paprika kick. Add more butter to it like my Massachusetts clam chowders. Minimal seating inside, no outside tables, ... I had to eat on waterfront on rail across street. If I had know outside service and seating down the street .. I would have went there. But, all was good and no issues on my end... I would bring home more clam cakes next time . How about scallop or shrimp cakes too ?

I live in Massachusetts but took the the ride to Warren RI for seafood. The food trucks are in a Buissness park right on the water in Warren, it's very beautiful There is plenty of parking and it's free. One's we parked we walked down and made the line to order your food. The line was very long but well worth the wait. We order at the window and they give you a buzzer that will notify you when your food is ready. We ordered the shrimp platter and the small lobster roll. The shrimp was fresh and the lobster roll was really good. The atmosphere is beautiful and very New England. My only complaint is they don't give enough food. The employees are very nice and everything is very clean. If you're in the area, eat here.

Okay this place was cool. We went on a holiday weekend so it was quieter and the ice cream spot next door was closed so I wonder if the lines weren't as long as usual. I will say by the time we left they started to get longer so maybe it was our timing because I've heard it's usually a long line, but we'll take it because it was quick! My husband loves fish and I just....don't. Their non-seafood options were limited but I could tell they fried them in a separate oil which is awesome. Although limited, they were great in taste. My husband loves every bite of his food. He bought the fried platter and was in heaven. The view is super cool and perfect to get some awesome photos of the bay. Overall, a great experience. There's a reason it's so highly rated.

Came in for lunch with several friends. You order at the shack and they give you a buzzer. The guy who checked me out wasn't super friendly. The food was cooked pretty quickly. I got the small buttered lobster roll. It was huge and hard to eat but super tasty! For a side I got the clam cakes. Also very tasty. My friend got the chowder and clam cakes and he also enjoyed them. The view was gorgeous!

They definitely made an effort to make things right. I was sent a gift card and I returned a few weeks later for a great lunch. I want to thank everyone at Blount for their great customer recovery and follow through. Stuff happens in the restaurant business. It's how you clean it up that matters!! You made me feel like I mattered. Thank you

Giant lobster roll w side of clam chowder. Scallop stuffie

We stopped here on the way home from dropping my son off at college. So a giant lobster roll was just what I needed! The staff was very helpful as we tried to decide between all the great options. Dining is available under the tent with views of the water. Was a perfect scene to enjoy your sea fare. The lobster roll was indeed giant. I could have gone with a regular but enjoyed every bite! The stuffie was great combo of stuffing to seafood. Nicely seasoned to make it flavorful without needing to add anything. Loved it and loved finding a great stop on the way home from visits.

I really enjoyed my time at Blount Clam Shack. The employees were extremely kind and offered suggestions. When we arrived around 3:00pm on a Monday, there was more than enough parking and it was not crowded. There was a great amount of seating as well. All tables were clean and the property is well maintained. Our food came out in about 5 minutes. We ordered a small Lobster Roll with Sweet Potato Fries and Coleslaw and a Giant Lobster Roll with Chowder and Coleslaw. We also got a side of fresh fruit. Our total was around $85.00. The Lobster Rolls were packed full of an immense amount of lobster, which was smothered in butter. The Chowder had a generous amount of cubed potatoes and clams. If I lived in the area, I would be going back!

Would not come here if it was the last place for clam cakes. Not that they weren't good, but the god forbidden line just to order. It's absurd. They have ropes to wind you around on single file -- in the heat for at least an hour. Just to then have a meal you've waited and sweat for, under a tent. It's all outside, granted the water is there and it's a nice view but I'm still hot from the hour long line wait. But, while you wait though you get to hear a middle aged white man playing guitar, if that's your fancy. I'd rather just listen to the dad rock yacht club station on my Spotify. Overall, I'd rather pay twice as much to wait and sit inside for food that's half as shitty, because the environment this establishment offers is just not worth it to me. The best thing about this place for an out of towner, was the classic plastic puck they provide, to let you know when your meal is ready. Overall, just not worth it.

Took Sunday drive and ended up at this fantastic lil place right on the water . Easy parking in crushed seashells like the old days. There's food trucks one with a full menu one with express easy items which was perfect for us just ordering chowder & clamcakes with a stuffie! We were so hungry we forgot to take photos the stuffie was out of this world best ever ! Full shrimp pieces of lobster & scallops it was the best I've ever had in a call shell$7 not bad at all! Then 3 clam cakes with white chowder which my husband said it was great! Better than our local well known place in Gansett :) live music in a shack outdoor seating was great we sat at a little bar looking over the water ! There's also an ice cream truck too! Take the ride it's a great place to visit right in Warren ! Authentic seafood!

I absolutely love Blount and i love visiting their clam shack on the waterfront. Blount has my favorite clam cakes and chowder. Blount also has the most affordable price for a lobster roll. They have a giant lobster roll and a regular. The staff is always friendly and quick. There is plenty of outdoor seating under a tent and tables with umbrellas.

I come here every time I visit from FL it's soooo good, it's only outside pavilion seating but the view is and they got some of the best lobster rolls and clam chowder. The clam cakes are nostalgic for me that was my fav as a kid just wish they had RI clam chowder!

They have a daily menu, and I've had some friends suggest this place as their favorite restaurant. We parked blocks away due to the lack of adequate parking. Once we walked in, we were greeted with pleasant smiles from the staff. The menu was short, which we attributed to a focus on quality. We ordered a French onion dip and a littleneck entree as an app for the table. We were served with lukewarm water, neither cold nor hot. The apostle John might have been somewhat disappointed (Rev 3:16). The dip was decent but was somewhat lacking in great onion flavor. But nothing to complain about. The little necks were served in a small bowl and lacked a bit of salt. Rather pricey for $26, but this place charges $6 just for bread and butter, so maybe it's just inflation? Enter the entrees. They apparently were short on chicken legs so they asked to substitute chicken breast. Two of us got burgers. First the $20 burgers, which were served with an aioli with no offer of ketchup or other condiments. In short, both burgers were terrible. Far worse than we make at home. It's always a disappointment when you realize you're paying all this extra for food you can make better at home. The buns were shockingly flat, like someone smashed them by hand. Or in a McDonald's box. Come to think of it, the flavor was similar, though overall the hamburger was somewhat bitter, salty and lacked an appetizing flavor. Wow. We all agreed they were terrible. The fries were also burnt and over salted. My daughter quit on her $30 chicken, so I tried it. The sauce wasn't bad, and it was served with a decent brocollini. But the chicken was some of the driest I've had in a restaurant, with no crisp skin and a uniformly poor texture. No wonder no one finished their entrees. And I hate wasting food. So, as much as we would have wanted to give this place a great rating, we just won't be back. The service, although with a smile, was slow and terrible. Our candle burnt out in the middle of dinner. It was never relit. Our glasses were empty halfway through dinner. No refills on the tepid water. The entrees took an hour and a half before they came out (we were warned the chicken could take 30 min). Generally a very disappointing experience. Hard to explain the rave reviews but our Saturday dinner was a sad bust. The cold wet madeleines they provided in a doggie bag didn't do anything to help. Oh well. Hope y'all have a better experience if you go here.

We were having a lovely dinner in Warren and stopped into Bywater for a quick after-dinner drink. It was a bit cooler out but since they had no seats in the extremely limited bar area, we took the plunge and sat outside near their fire pits. They did not have many wines to choose from BTG which was disappointing. The one I had which was Cinsault was just ok. I had to dump out most of it since I did not enjoy it but that was my fault since sampling it I thought I liked it. My friend had the bartender make her a cocktail with grapefruit since they did not have pineapple. She was looking for a French martini but seemed to enjoy what they made her. My husband's espresso martini was very good I thought and light but could've used some bailey's. We already had dessert so we did not plan on anything else but I know I am interested in returning for dinner. The restaurant is very small inside but I loved the warm lights and decor. It was a very sexy and attractive vibe! If you are ever in Warren I highly recommend coming here for either drinks, dinner, or both. Dress warm if you plan on heading outside to sit near the fire...it does not give off that much heat! Cheers!

We ordered the mini stuffies, the hummus plate, and the fried pickles. The mini stuffies were a highlight. Loaded with Mello's chouriço and packed with flavor, they're a solid little bite. My grandfather set the bar pretty high for me on stuffies, and these came close. They have a different profile than what I grew up with; a little less bready, more chouriço forward, and the clam flavor takes a back seat. Not necessarily a complaint, they were just different from what I'm used to and were genuinely tasty. The lemon aioli on top was also a nice touch. The fried pickles were exactly what you want them to be. Crispy, well fried, and the breading actually stayed put while you ate them, which is more than I can say for a lot of fried pickles. They came with the same lemon aioli as the stuffies, which worked just as well here. The hummus plate was a bit of a letdown. We've had it many times before and it used to be a standout. This time the hummus itself was thick and pretty flavorless, more like a dense chickpea paste than anything else. The accompaniments were nice though and consisted of heirloom carrots, cucumbers, olives, cherry tomatoes, asparagus, pickled cauliflower, carrot, and a pepperoncini, all served alongside some buttery round crackers that were like a Ritz cracker's more refined cousin. The veggies saved the plate, but the hummus needs to find its way back. I suppose it could have just been an off batch and won't prevent us from trying it again. Cocktails were great, as usual. I had the Anana with scotch. I love pineapple and this has muddled pineapple and basil, pineapple juice, cracked black pepper. It's my go-to here and it delivered again. My partner went adventurous and ordered the Jungle Booby, which is built around tequila blanco and mezcal with campari, pineapple, grapefruit, lime, orgeat, and an absinthe spritz. The flavors were genuinely good, but the smokiness from the mezcal was a bit much for her taste. She followed it up with a glass of rosé and had no complaints after that. The cocktail wasn't the problem, it just wasn't her style. One of our favorite spots in Warren for a quick nibble, for a good reason.

I had the absolutely perfect dinner here. We were a party of 6- 2 kids meals…read more We started off with the bread bowl with 3 dipping sauces. The pesto was bright green and amazing, best ever. I had the osso bocco. It was a large portion , falling off the bone deliciously seasoned with a tasty spinach, grits underneath. I enjoyed every bite. I was sorry I couldn't eat it all! I shared some with others telling them how delicious it was. My friend ordered the bolognese entree which she says is the best she has ever had. Their eggplant parm sandwich was recommended as well. My husband had the shrimp fettuccine, also delicious. The kids like their chicken tenders. Hostess was friendly and sat us right away. Waiter was so nice. Took drink orders and brought everything out efficiently. Checked if we needed anything. He was great with the kids. When we complimented him on our food, he was pleased. It looks that the restaurant is adequately staffed so that the service is excellent. Ambience is good. Moderate noise but has a pleasant hum. Unfortunately, we were visiting so I don't get to dine there as frequently as possible. Prices are reasonable!

Dinner at Revival has never knocked my socks off, but it is consistent. Sometimes that's exactly…read morewhat you need. Consistent, good enough, & a good place to gather with friends. The pros: - Friendly staff - Cute covered patio - Gluten free options - Reliable The cons: - Uninspiring cocktails - Food is never ~amazing~ - Weird raw oyster situation* *I really can't get behind serving raw oysters with soy sauce & lime. I understand wanting to do things differently - maybe offer some cool additional sauce options? But please - a lemon & some mignonette would be just fine.

After running a hot and humid Bristol marathon came by for a bite to eat. Hostess got us sat right…read moreaway with the bartender attending us. Place was busy but the he was able to take care of us. Some of the girls had bottomless mimosas (only oj as a juice option). Everyone really liked their breakfast, the tostadas and the egg benny were the faves. The salsa for the tostadas was delicious not too spicy, eggs cooked perfectly, the southern benny between the gravy and the potatoes were great. Great option for your weekend brunch or a bite to eat. Updated a bit on the restaurant side but the bar side being older with that wooden charm.

Sorry, but I just don't get the hype. I was recommended this place by a few people, but my…read moreboyfriend and I were not impressed. It was packed and service was kind of slow. The drink menu was not very extensive. Our Asian salad cups appetizer tasted exactly like an Asian salad mix I've bought at the grocery store and looked like it too - I'm convinced that's exactly how they prepared this. My veggie burger had burnt edges and wasn't too enjoyable flavor-wise. It didn't help my overall impression that when I got takeout here another time, they totally butchered my boyfriend's name when we ordered over the phone, and we had a hard time picking up our order because of this (how you get "Stephanie" from "Anthony," I just really don't know). I think this place just gets lucky having a good location across from Independence Park and being close to but just out of the way from downtown. Can't say I was impressed by the food - there are too many other good options in Bristol, I just can't say I'd recommend this to others. Perhaps it's improved since I visited, but it's a pass for me based on experiences I've had.
