I typically enjoy eating my lobster roll by the ocean but didn't want to take the drive and ended up here. Wow oh wow, the lobster roll did not disappoint, having the plate for $2 more is well worth it! We had quick and friendly service. They have picnic tables by a lake with a laid back vibe, loved it!

Horrible.. Staff were completely indifferent, we had to wait to order until they stopped talking to each other. The best description of the food lies in the photos. Where are the clam bellies? Forget this place.

Best Fried Clams ever. Light batter. Very tasty, you know these were never frozen! Service exception

I have been wanting to try this restaurant for a few years now. I'm so happy I finally did! I ordered the clam fritters and lobster roll. The clam fritters did not impress me, they were good but I thought they had too much batter and not enough clam taste. I also did not see any clams in the clam fritters and normally you can see little pieces which I like the best. The lobster roll was delicious. The bun was buttered and grilled perfect, for that nice crunch. The lobster meat was fresh and they gave you a good amount. There was no mayo on the roll, just the lobster meat and buttered bun. I love lobster rolls like this, that just have the lobster meat, especially when the lobster meat is fresh and tastes good. I wish the roll was bigger, but that was as my only suggestion. I would get the lobster roll again if I went back to this restaurant. The whole menu looked delicious, with clam chowder, fried clams and platter dinners. If you like seafood and a chill atmosphere I would recommend Dicky's!

We've dined here a number of times. Everything has been hot, fresh, and delicious. Standard Clam Shack fare and some nice surprises on the menu too. Stuffies, 3 kinds of clam chowder, hot dogs, lobster rolls, etc. While all seafood tends to be pricey these days, Dickies is fairly priced imo. Check it out.

Clam shack in Rehoboth/Swansea. There's 2 locations apparently. The food was not that great here. Got a small fried clams plate, bowl of clam chowder and chicken fingers for ~50$. Fried clams were alright, there were maybe only 8 to 10 clams. Cole slaw tasted bad. Clam chowder was pretty good. Overall it was a disappointing experience, though it was nice to sit by the water.

Nice classy highly emotional intelligent owner! The food is awful here. There are better resturants to get fried clams. DO better and be kind.

Clams?

Service was quick and polite. However if clams is in your name don't serve them like this. $21 for a handful and a half of old greese flavored clams.

I'm coming from star drive inn so this review is going to be basically a comparison. Their fries are better than star drive in but who goes to a clam shop for their fries? The clam strips, the fried oysters were good. Not great? But definitely not bad. Fish could be crispier. I think the fish is better at star drive in but the clam strips were on the same level but fried oysters are better at star drive inn. Stuffed quahogs. I ordered the spicy. Definitely not spicy enough for my taste. Secondly, it was just a mushy quahog. Nothing, to this day of August 1, 2021, can beat star drive in. I had to drench my quahog in butter to get a "yummmm" effect. Lobster roll was a little dry. Is that possible? I don't eat lobster that often to really know if that's possible. Worth the 20 dollars per roll? No. I'd pay maybe 12 dollars but even that's pushing it. That's me being bias since I'm not a huge fan of lobster rolls. I prefer just lobster and some asian hot sauce. Spent all of my tip money from my part time job so I gave them a WAD of cash. Was it worth it? Maybe for half of what I paid. I only compare this to star drive in only because that's where I normally get my fried seafood and stuffed quahog fix. It's good? But now I just want a quality stuffed quahog from star drive in.

Fried clams, lobster rolls, clam cakes, chowder and homemade ice cream!

Dicky's is the prototype for your roadside summertime lobster roll, clam shack and homemade ice cream stand that you'd expect to find near the beach but is actually located on a main road. There is your "place order" line, pick up windows organized by food type, white pebbles parking lot and picnic style seating. The servers were all cordial and friendly while keeping the lines moving. I thought the white clam chowder while tasty was a bit bland but full of clams which at other restaurants is not always the case. It came with oyster crackers which were not the best brand. My lobster roll was full of good size pieces of cold lobster with a touch of mayo on the traditional grilled hotdog bun. I've had sweeter tasting lobster but it was still worth the price. I did not try the ice cream so that will have to be on hold until my next time through.

Hair in my fish.. yuck...

Wow! I was hoping it would be better! I saw the prices line $36 for a clam plate and $2.49 for a water. Is it me? I got a cup of chowder and a small fish and chips for $20. The white chowder was flavorless. Not creamy or clammy. The cole slaw was also undressed and going in the trash. Hate to say it but fish was also flavorless and soggy. Falling apart. The hair fried into the batter wasnt very nice either. There's a pic. French fries were the best part. I'm eating them plain, because there's no ketchup in the bag. Oh well. It's a nice novelty to go to a seasonal "clam shack," but not this one.

Regular-sized fish & chips platter. Good!

Sea scallops PLUS, you can go in back, and sit on the Adirondack chairs by the water. It's nice to enjoy nature while eating.

While they're known for their impressive selection of hot dogs, the menu also features delicious burgers, chicken sandwiches, turkey burgers, and crispy fries, so there's something for everyone. On this visit, we both opted for burgers. I had the Mushroom & Swiss Smash Burger, which was perfectly cooked with a flavorful, juicy patty and melted Swiss cheese. We shared an order of the crab fries, which were outstanding and easily enough for two. To wash it all down, I enjoyed a refreshing Dark & Stormy. One surprise was their espresso martini menu, featuring approximately seven different variations. It's a fun addition that sets Wally's apart from your typical burger and hot dog joint. Be prepared to wait for a table during busy times unless you're happy grabbing a seat at the bar. The food, drinks, and lively atmosphere make the wait well worth it.

There was a 30-minute wait and we almost left, but I'm so glad we stayed. We were seated upstairs in the "speakeasy"-style bar, and it completely exceeded any expectations, felt like a hidden old-world restaurant. We ordered the wiener tower (5 dogs, fries, and dipping sauces for $40), which was fun, well-priced, and great for sharing. We tried five different dogs and they were all bomb! The spicy margarita was excellent as well. Overall, a super fun experience for both kids and adults. Highly recommend, and we'd definitely go back, especially if you can get a table upstairs
