It was my first time here. There are 3 seating areas and we were seated in the back which was very nice. The whole pub has a great atmosphere. Their sangria, both watermelon and red were delish! I had their grilled chicken croissant, tender and soft respectively, with honey Dijon mustard and sweet potato fries that were the crispest I've ever had. The chowder nice thick and hearty and the fish and chips lightly battened and nice portion for the lunch special.The stuffed quahog was good hearty and flavorful but the bottom was burnt so a nice portion was stuck to the shell. The waitress Amanda was very good at assisting me once I told her it was my first time here.This is an Old Irish style ambiance here nice quiet and cozy. Great experience! first time at the crossroads pub tonight.started with a beer which was cold and fresh.I ordered a stuffie it was huge and tasty my better half had the Caesar salad which was also on point. We ordered the seafood special which came brimming with scallops, crabmeat,and mussels over a bed of linguine which tasted as good as it sounds. Bartender Kerrie made us feel so welcome . My wife and I stopped by for a couple of sandwiches on 10/29/25 and were terribly disappointed. First, our sandwiches arrived on the opposite bread that we ordered. I can't have rye bread because of the seeds and we had to send both sandwiches back. I've enjoyed the hot turkey melt in the past, but this one was awful. The turkey wasn't very good and was mostly comprised of turkey remnants, not full slices as I had in the past. I asked for crispy bacon, but it was barely cooked. Cranberry on the sandwich? You had to be a detective to locate it. When the bill arrived, we were overcharged for both of our sandwiches, which was corrected after we brought the overcharge to the waitress' attention. Came here with my family during our first RWU family weekend when we were in a funk after being turned down by multiple restaurants. when we called asking if they had a table the woman on the phone giggled and said of course. the service was amazing and the women who were working were pleasant and friendly. and all the other customers were also having a great time. the food was comforting and priced well for the area. you guys made our weekend! the vibe was great and we will be definitely be returning! read more

We were seated in the middle section which is all collapsible directors chair with no lumbar support. My chair actually fell apart when I was eating and the waitress came over to help and said "sorry this happens all the time" directors chairs are a wild choice for a restaurant especially where the majority of the clientele are elderly. If you have any kind of back issue or mobility issue I would strongly recommend going somewhere else. Waitresses were very friendly despite being incredibly busy. Food was mediocre as were drinks. It was very busy so they're clearly doing something right, I'm just not sure what that might be. Would consider going back if I could insist on sitting on the regular chairs. Bill for two people was 100+ which was a lot for sitting on chairs soccer moms bring to their kids games. read more

I don't understand all the great reviews. The bread was hard as a rock and the appetizers and soups were so bad we got up and left. The seat I went to sit in was stained by someone's crotch I wish I was making that up. They're directors chairs so they could bother to wash them! My knife was given to me dirty. There was a speck of what looked like a piece of pepper (but it wasn't pepper) in my water. I was dying to leave as soon as we sat down but my friends wanted to give it a try. After trying to eat the appetizers everyone was ready to go. I don't often write bad reviews because I'm always hoping for the best but I'm writing this because I wish someone warned me so I could avoid this place. Crossroads is one of those places where you walk in and everybody knows each other. Everyone was super friendly and the place was pretty busy for a Tuesday night. Interesting forest decor in one of the rooms. Came mainly to get drinks and a quick snack. Got the spiced cider with Morgan's rum which was pretty good. Also got the chicken tenders which were alright. The menu is a mix of standard American and Italian fare. Overall good place, would go back for drinks. Parking is bit tight. read more

I came to this restaurant for a bridal luncheon and found the décor to be very unusual. Each room that you went in seemed to be decorated according to a different country or ethnicity. The service was very good and as it was on a Sunday afternoon it was nice and quiet. We were served appetizers which were not unusual but good. For a lunch we had our choice of menu so I had of cup of chowder and 1/2 a lobster roll which was very good. They came with fries and I very much enjoyed it. It's probably not the kind of place that you would want to hold an event because it can be kind of odd to have to walk through the bar to get to the event but if you don't mind that the food is good and the service is good. read more

In short, I agree with all the wonderful things others have been writing when reviewing Crossroad Pub Restaurant. From the outside it looks like another nondescript building in downtown Warren but inside are three different dining areas each with its own distinct personality. We sat in the third room which is best for those who like a quieter atmosphere. Our server was attentive and had an infectious smile that set the tone for the meal. We began with Moscow Mules and Sangria's. Next we were served warm rolls and butter. For dinner two of us had lobster rolls, one had an avocado stuffed with lobster salad and the other member of our party had chicken Picatta. All of us enjoyed our dinners. While I prefer a grilled roll with my lobster roll, it was still quite tasty as was the coleslaw that came with the dinner. One irony was that Manhattan and New England clam chowders were offered as specials but not Rhode Island!?!? No matter, New England is the best tasting of the three! So for a fun, relaxed, comfort food meal in a quirky and friendly environment, I definitely recommend Crossroad Pub Restaurant. read more

I discovered this place last year and have been here three times since. The place has a cozy atmosphere with an active fireplace in one room, a rustic bar and beautiful sun room. The food is excellent with many standard favorites and weekly specials. The staff has always been friendly and accomidating. The manager is visible in the restaurant and has stopped by the table during the meal to make sure everything is good. read more

I went to the Crossroads Pub recently for a friends' birthday lunch, and it was far and away the most disappointing meal I've had in RI in any recent memory. We both ordered the steak sandwich (when the waitress finally arrived to take our orders in an almost empty restaurant), and after what seemed like a VERY LONG TIME, our meals arrived. The French fries I asked to have 'crispy' were barely cooked, and the steak which I asked for medium rare was cooked to death (grey with no discernible grill marks), so I sat with an untouched plate, waiting while my friend suffered through a piece of shoe leather... made of a thin-cut piece of the cheapest cut of steak I've ever seen, which barely filled the too-bready roll. I finally, in disgust after waiting for what seemed an eternity for the waitress to return, went to the bar to see if she could be found. More minutes passed and my friend was done eating when the 'server' finally arrived to see what the problem was, and I showed her a blond and grey plate of cold food, which she shrugged off, whisked off the plate and returned with what I am convinced were the same refried fries, the same now soggy roll and an even cheezier piece of almost raw and barely warm meat, which was the toughest thing I've ever tried to gnaw through... and the bill only came to $40! Like getting robbed by an old friend, it's not the cheapest lesson I've learned, but one I won't ever repeat. read more

We often have driven by this place with no second look. However, today we decided to give it a chance. The place was clean but the decor was a bit bazaar. The place was clean. The waitress was warm and friendly. We were served within a reasonable timeframe. We found the food to be good. The pricing was reasonable. It was a good place to eat. The parking lot is tight. We arrived near closing of the restaurant. We had the baked haddock, which was fantastic. The fish just falls apart and is topped with a light crust which is amazing. Also had a cup of the New England Clam Chowder. Certainly one of the best I've had in the New England area. It isn't that overly creamy stuff you get at most places and out of a can. The consistency of the soup and what was in it was spot on. Came with a baked potato and fresh bread as well. Both of the items were good, nothing like the soup or entrée, but a good match for the meal. Would recommend. Friendly staff too! read more

Crossroads is a tough place to review. They have a large, diverse menu - which they manage reasonably well - and friendly staff, but lately, the overall quality feels like it has slipped. What used to be a "old standby" for a weeknight meal now gets passed over. Perhaps I'm just on a streak of choosing poorly - but the food has gone from "good" to "blah." And in this day and age (and economy) "blah" doesn't cut it. Really a 2 1/2 star review - primarily for past experiences. Sit at the bar - the bartenders are good (and friendly) - and the bar (w/ the giant rhino head on the wall) is a better atmosphere than the fairly odd "garden room." read more

This place is certainly a diamond in the rough. From the outside, it doesn't look like very much, but on the inside, the restaurant somewhat comes alive. When you first walk in, you enter the lounge/bar area which I thought was really nice. I was told by co-workers that it is always busy there at night. It does have a dark vibe, which is probably due to the extremely dim lighting. The space is not large but rather intimate. Past the lounge area is another open room with 2 large skylights and a tree. Yes. There is a tree. A real tree. There was a decent amount of seating and this room was very bright with natural lighting which I thought was really wonderful. And next to this room is another small room which was blocked off. I assume that must be for large group functions of some sorts. We were seated as soon as we walked in, as we were the only ones there and our waitress, Jodi, was fantastic! Very personable, attentive and funny! Food! I had heard great things from my co-workers. I decided to order the Delmonico steak with fries and a French onion soup to start with (I chose to do a half sandwich and soup). The French Onion soup wasn't as good as others I have had, but it wasn't bad either. I just thought it was a little more "soupier" than I am used to having. At first glance it would seem that it is packed with cheese, bread and onions.... But I thought it could have used just a little more. My sandwich was just.......good. Upon first bite, the roll was soft, the cheddar cheese and mushrooms were warm. I thought it was going to be a really great sandwich! Once I was able to get a bite with the steak, is where it took a little turn. The steak itself I thought was bland. Either the steak had no seasoning at all, or it didn't have enough. Either way, it needed some! Had I ordered it plain, I may not have eaten it all. One of my co-workers also order the Delmonico but with only cheese and she also felt the steak was bland. However, with the cheese and 'shrooms to add some flavor, I finished the half sandwich. I feel this sandwich has the potential to be a really amazing, eye popping, mouth watering sandwich so, with that said, I would order it again and hope that it was just today that the seasoning was off. I probably would not order the French onion soup again though. All in all, I am pleasantly full from lunch. I will also mention that when we arrived at a little after 12 noon, we were the only ones, but by 1:00p, the lunch crowd had come rolling in and it did become pretty busy. My wife and I were looking for a local establishment for dinner and found the Crossroads Restaurant in Warren. Just a short drive from where we are working in Barrington, RI. The atmosphere, decor and service were excellent. Our waitress, Becky, was friendly and attentive. Do not be put off by the neighborhood. Warren is an old, established community, but the restaurant is newly renovated and very inviting. On to the food! The menu is quite extensive and includes American food dishes, Italian dishes and sea food. Everything is served piping hot! Entrees include either soup or salad. The entrees we had were, in a word, delicious! I had the Surf & Turf (sirloin and baked stuffed jumbo shrimp), while my wife went for the baked haddock. Both were excellent. We would go back here in a heartbeat. If you ever find yourself in the area, this is a wonderful place for a very satisfying meal. You will not be disappointed! read more

My personal favorite is the grilled salmon and mashes potatoes. It's easy to drive right by this place without a glance, but Crossroads is a little diamond in the rough. VERY reasonably priced, excellent service and really great food. It is always busy when I have been, which is a good sign! There are 3 rooms, the busy little bar when you walk in, a slightly 80's jungle-y middle dining room with white lights and tree plant things and a back room dining area. The lobster roll is very large and the burger delicious. Oh, I have to mention the stiff $8 Cosmo with a side car that was amazeballs. Great buzz, almost 2 drinks for 8 bucks! I like this place. we found it along the bike trail and pulled in for a bite. we have made it a point to try stuffed quahogs everywhere we go and this was one of the best. maybe its the chorizo. the food overall was pretty good and you get a lot at a good price. I like the bar and it has a friendly neighborhood vibe that makes you feel like you belong there even if you arent from the neighborhood. that makes you want to stay and hang out at the bar or in front of the fireplace. would definitely go there again. read more

I have only been one time, a couple of weeks ago. I was driving home from work one day and the signed jumped out at me, although I never noticed it before. I mentioned it to my boyfriend, who remembered eating there once with his mom, and said it was awesome! They made a great dark and stormy, delicious calamari, and we enjoyed a special they had that night: broccoli and cheese baked potato skins. For dessert we ordered the tiramisu. It was the best tiramisu I've ever had! Better than the one at the expensive up scale Italian restaurant in Bristol even. I am REALLY excited to come back soon because the menu was extensive and had a LOT of tasty sounding things on it that I can't wait to put in my belly. The lay out of this place is so different and cool! It does sort of have a dated feel to it, but I really enjoyed the personality of this place. The rooms are spacious and the tables are well spread out. The solarium room is... unique :) I wasn't really feeling it the first time, but maybe I'll check it out the next time.
