Ben came out on time to put a coating on my new Honda CRV. Just bought it three weeks ago and it looks better than when I picked It up. He really pays attention to detail which is great because I don't seem to care that much about my cars. I would not hesitate to recommend Ben: he's a professional. First off, I need to be fair about my review. I hired these guys to wash and wax my 6 year old RV. If you need your auto or truck detailed, I would recommend these guys. If you have an RV, I would pass. They were very professional when they arrived. Ben was concerned about how well thing would work out. However, the project was not successful. All of the above said, two days after they finished some of the decals started to lift off the vehicle because they power washed the vehicle instead of hand washing. In addition, one of my windows is now fogged due to the power-washing. The fixes will be expensive. So, be warned, auto and truck detailing should be fine with these guys. However, think twice before having them do your RV. If you do, only have them hand wash your vehicle. read more

Although I was happy with the timely manner I was able to be scheduled in, It didn't take long after speaking with friends and doing some research on the Internet to see that I was a little overcharged. He was also very late with no attempts to call and let me know, Instead I had to contact him regarding where he was. My last complaint is I'm not very enthusiastic about whatever soap or shampoo he uses. I thought the smell would fade away within a few weeks, but there's still an undesirable sent in my car over a month later. I did the Groupon and BLS must be very busy as it took quite a few calls to finally get my appointment scheduled. They never responded to the online form that I completed. So I finally called a few times. When they showed up (finally) to detail my car, they were done in about an hour. After the detail I still found leaves, pine needles, and other bits in the liner between the engine hood. I easily spent 5 mins and picked these out by hand. I guess "detail" doesn't include taking leaves out. Overall it seemed more like a good car wash than a detail job. PS: Good luck trying to get your detail scheduled. I wish I could say how well they detail, but I can't, because I never got a call back from them. I called three times over the course of three weeks, and didn't get a call back, nor a peep, even to say "yikes, we're totally overscheduled..." whatever. Not a peep. Really annoying, as I was trying to get the car detailed for sale. It seems from these reviews they are responsive generally, but groupon might have been my problem, and your mileage may vary. After everything that happened during my initial encounter with Ben and his team, I am glad to be able to say now that Ben did in fact step up and make things right. And, all things considered, he and his team did quality work. I know things happen sometimes that can affect how a business can operate. And what I went through originally with BLS was pretty frustrating. But in the end, BLS showed professionalism and a willingness to satisfy the customer. And to me, that's important. I also got the Groupon for a mobile detail and thought that $140 for an interior floor and upholstery shampoo was too good to be true. Ben was very clear that sometimes previous jobs run long and that the timing sometimes required flexibility which was fine, I was having the job done at work and wouldn't need the car for anything. In any case the guys showed up within twenty minutes of the scheduled time and more importantly, got straight to work. Since i had saved some $$ on the Groupon, I opted to add high-speed buffing to lose some of the little cracks and add the Glare coating advertised on the website. The jury is out on the coating. It looks like a TOTALLY excellent wax job right now but the proof is in how long it will last. I'll keep you informed. The buffing however was totally worth it. That nasty spot where the dog jumped up on the side of the car? Gone. the depth of the luster is fabulous. The carpets are that zero-nap fuzzy junk they put in cars these days and while Ben kept trying to excuse the difficult to remove hairs and other tiny things that get lost in stuff like that I failed to see s single flaw in the carpets, they look like brand-new to me. No extra water either, everything was just barely damp but the seats were like new. I would recommend BLS and will use them again next spring, just for the interior and the tires, because the Glare is supposed to keep the paint like new. We'll see. read more

I discovered BLS through Groupon, when I purchased the deluxe deal. Because I'm selling my Toyota Prius, I decided to drive from Oakland to Santa Rosa to get this done. While driving up, Ben suggested instead of me driving to them by the Santa Rosa airport, we could meet at the Coddington Mall (a decent place to kill a few hours) instead. His reaction to my car was funny when he saw it because it was FILTHY dirty. I hadn't washed it in a couple months (and have been off-roading through dirt roads on a regular basis) and I don't believe any carpet cleaning (besides vacuuming) had ever been performed since buying my '04 Prius. There was dog hair all over the trunk, I had stains on the carpets, I had dirt all over the exterior, it was a hot mess to say the least. I really didn't know what to expect as I've never gotten a car fully detailed before. All I can say is WOW!!! It was a 180 degree, night-and-day difference! If my car didn't have a ton of scratches everywhere from 9 years of wear n tear, it would have looked brand new like it did coming out of the dealership. My exact words verbatim was "Ho Lee Sheet!" when I saw the vehicle. These guys are pros, have been doing this for over 20 years, and know what they're doing. I highly recommend their work, and after selling this car and buying my next car, I'm going to go back to them to seal the paint for me (so I don't have to wax it for 3 years). I trust these guys with my car for sure. Yes, the carpets were still wet when I got the car back. That's why Ben told me to let them dry outside in the sun when I got back home. I read the bad review on here. That guy is complaining because he didn't do the final inspection himself. It sounds like it was more his problem than theirs. Had he not had to pick up his son, it sounds like he would have given a positive review. I recommend these guys. Top tier professional work! I have no complaints and feel that I definitely got my money's worth. I'm very pleased and satisfied and kind of wish I had done it sooner to be honest. I like my car being this clean. :-) read more

I called Ben to talk about the Glare protection he offers and he was thorough and helpful on the phone, giving honest feedback about what I could expect. I decided that I would trust my car to him, he came out to my work and did an exterior only detail with the Glare product. Ben worked quickly and carefully and gave me some pointers on car washing afterwards, essentially telling me that I just needed to spray the car off once a week and dry it with a good microfiber. I have been using sealant and wax on my cars my entire life and I "volunteered" to be a test case for Glare for some of my more car enthusiast friends. The results speak for themselves, this is after two weeks no wash, then I sprayed it with high pressure soap, rinse and then a spot free rinse. I then just wiped it down with a towel and it looks amazing. I am sold on this for now, I'll follow up in six months on how well it's lasting. read more
