While staying at the Crowne Plaza, I placed a to-go order here. First, they need to have menus in the hotel rooms (but maybe they no longer provide room service-despite messaging saying otherwise.) Second, they need to update their website to include a food menu not just pictures of a few items. Thank goodness for my fellow Yelpers, who snapped pics of the menu!! So my order, Parmesan wings with ranch and a burger with fruit as a substitute for fries. The rings were delicious! However, I did have to walk back down for the ranch. My mom enjoyed her burger and fruit. We were both pleasantly surprised they easily substituted her fries for fruit to accommodate a food restriction. Plus the fruit portion size was quite plentiful. If ever back in the area, I'd return to do a sit down meal. read more

Stopped by for an early dinner. Amanda was our server assisted we sat in the bar at a high top table. We started with drinks. My wife had Don Julio Blanco with sparkling water, limes and mint and I had an iced tea. My wife ordered the parmesan wings and I had the turkey club. The food was tasty and the service good. Decent breakfast fare attached to a hotel This was the food location for the hotel I stayed at in San Pedro. The staff were very friendly but were very easily overwhelmed when people would come out of their room for breakfast. The breakfast buffet is very much your standard hotel affair. They allow either a buffet or a single item off their regular menu with any drinks you would like. We ordered exclusively from the menu to get the freshest items. Servers were very friendly, but the amount of people made it almost impossible for them to keep up. This place needs more help during the morning hours to handle the amount of orders coming in. This lead to a lot of delays and clear corner cutting when possible. Which is a shame, cause the food is actually not bad for the quality of ingredients given. The chef knows how to season and balance flavors. The problem is the ingredients. Even the most talented chefs can only do so much with powdered eggs and cheese slices. But they do try, and the fresh ingredients are treated with care. I feel that if the chef was given more responsibility for their ingredients and more staff to help with the flurry of orders, then this place could shine. They had regular scrambled eggs and scrambled eggs with cheese and possibly ham. They have cubes potatoes and fried onions and bell peppers. Pancakes, sausage Pattie's, crisp bacon and link sausage. They also have toast, waffles, cereal, oatmeal, biscuits and gravy, some fruit, yogurt, and a lunch meat assortment. Coffee and orange juice are included in the price for $21. Service was great, coffee was never empty and it was really good coffee. Seating was very comfortable and it was clean and well stocked. This restaurant/bar is located inside of the Crowne Plaza in San Pedro. I was there for work. Bar is quite nice so is the seating. On the weekends it gets pretty packed but during the week it's normal and not so busy. They do get a rush, depending on when the cruise liners dock in the bay. Bartenders are awesome and so is the staff. One of the main managers likes to have drinks there. He was a regional manager traveling and was attending to the restaurant. Me and my coworkers ended up, chopping it up with him. We got a couple of free drinks and honestly, the ambience was amazing. Had a bunch of beers and my favorite food was the lemon garlic Parmesan wings. I've never had them taste so amazing like these. Decent food as well. The other day I had the steak. We've stopped by this outdoor venue twice to have appetizers and drinks. We were quite surprised last week to discover that the outdoor patio has been upgraded with high-end furnishings and flooring. This restaurant is located in the Crown Plaza hotel that we stayed in while visiting San Pedro. The best Huevos Rancheros is from this restaurant! What so good about this is the way the presented it in front of my face plus the ingredients they mixed in. I didn't know that avocado is allowed in Huevos Rancheros? Do you know about this? The black bean was one of the best. That sauce mixing with black bean was a reason I gave this place four stars. They made quality huevos rancheros and I approved this. When I said I wanted my sunnyside up well done in the bottom, they got it right. The next time I came for breakfast I tried the buffet but honestly, I prefer my huevos rancheros more than anything else at this restaurant. The buffet offers lox, egg benedict, bacon and sausage, pancake and waffle, bagel and french toast, good coffee and juice, etc. Greg, the waiter was really good but he was the only one working, so the service took a little time to process. Again, for the second time, I left my purse and when I went upstairs to the room, Greg called to let me know that he has my purse. Wow! Greg saved me! Thank you! I must have been hypnotized by all the food that made me forget to take my purse back with me. Hubby and I only came here for breakfast. They need to hire some help. It appears only 3 people are covering the bar and restaurant. The waiter is friendly but the service is horrible. Waited 10 min just to have order taken. Ordered chicken parm and garlic bread. Never got the bread. No one asked if I needed a drink. Food was slow to arrive. The waiter said someone else was bringing the garlic bread when he eventuality dropped off my dinner. Never got the bread. Small chicken breast was tasty but pasta got cold as I waited for the bread that never arrived. 15 min later he noticed I was just sitting there with a plate full of pasta he said oh she never brought the garlic bread. I stayed at the Crowne Plaza for a day before getting on a cruise. We ended up going here 3 times for drinks, dinner and breakfast. I am not a fan and the only reason we went here was because it was raining and we did not want to walk. The food was average, took forever to come out and was too expensive for the quality. A glass of low grade scotch was $10, come on now, this place is not that trendy to charge that much. I am sure they get a captive clientele from the hotel but they really need to step up their game. We ate here while staying in the hotel. The French dip sliders were good and the macaroni was great. Reason for the one star deduction: Their menu did have a number of adult mixed drinks that were no longer available and some of the beers on tap were also not available. Delicious but pricey breakfast. Located inside the Crowne Plaza, Blū offers breakfast, lunch and dinner. I saw many do the breakfast buffet, but I ordered an omelet off the menu. The omelet and coffee added up to the same cost as the buffet, about $20, plus tip. A small flute of mimosa was an additional $10. Very attentive staff. When I looked at the overpriced menu, I thought this was gunna be one of those places where the dish looks nice, but the food would taste horrible. The menu was only a page and a half so I didn't expect too much. Since this place is next to the port, it has a lot of sea food options. I ordered their crab cake and linguini mare, and it was delicious. Some seafood places I've been leave their seafood out for too long, so when they cook it, it's all gross. This review is based purely on the food and competence of the room service attendant as I did not dine in the restaurant but rather ordered room service. My family of three just paid over $90 for a dinner that we were extremely disappointed in. I ordered the ribeye (medium) which was advertised as coming with tempura asparagus and roasted herb potatoes. The steak was so well done there wasn't even a hint of pink or tenderness to it. Also, I received broccolini instead of the asparagus I was looking forward to. I was very careful to ask what came on the ahi salad we ordered. The room service attendant on the phone read back to me what was on the menu word for word. I asked if anything else came on it and she said no. There were at least four other ingredients on the salad, some of which we found unappetizing and were hard to pick out. The ahi itself was fishy which is a very bad sign. They seemed to have no clue what kind of food they were serving. Obviously, ordering room service includes extra charges and that made the meal more expensive. But we decided to splurge and were served an extremely disappointing meal. Why anybody would ever cook a ribeye well done is beyond me, but when I ordered it medium and it came like that - no excuse. From the second I sat down and was left staring at a menu for over 15 minutes this place hands down has the worst service I have ever experienced at this level of hotel. I started ordering my beers in pairs since even after waving the server down it would still take him 5+ minutes to come take my order. Currently I have been sitting for 32 minutes and he's only been to my table twice and no food at this point. I might leave a separate review based on good quality if it's worth it. But at this point I HIGHLY recommend to Uber to a place near by and you can get better timely service and come back to the hotel probably before I see my waiter again. read more

This restaurant bar located in the Crowne Plaza in San Pedro. Came in several days for happy hours. Happy hour comes with endless appetizer of the day. One day was onion rings. Another day was mozzarella sticks. The appetizers are fairly crispy and hot. They compliment and ice cold drink. One serves themselves. Laticia was the bartender for the days we stopped in. She was friendly and usually ontop of orders. She covered the bar and outside patio for various drinks and orders. Bill was settled pretty quick. Good friendly service and free appetizer are nice. Bad measured drinks but more than reasonably priced. Would stop in for the happy hour again. read more

Staying at the hotel we decided we would try Blu Bar and Lounge for convenience... We were not disappointed at all. Some of the negative reviews did worry me so I figured I should share our experience. My husband and I both ordered the Black Rum burger and fries while our son had the Bow tie shrimp pasta. I HAD to try the pasta and it was amazing! The burgers were big and filling where both of us could only finished half of each of ours. We did also order desserts and coffee to go which were perfect for a late night snack. We will be eating here again the next time we are in town for dinner.... AND will be trying breakfast here tomorrow too. read more

I'd give it 1 stars but I don't have the heart.. the menu is embarrassing with very little options. I picked the club sandwich because everything else was overpriced. It was mediocre at best. I ordered a few drinks. They make cocktails in the same glass that they make rocks drinks in, tiny. I asked for a larger glass and received a pint that had less than a shot in it. The bartender spent the majority of his time doing side work and preparing to close. We had to interrupt him to place any kind of order.
