HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Found this gem searching for a good meal after a long flight. It's a quaint place ran by the sweetest husband-and-wife, Jose and Laura. I ordered the chicken sandwich with avocado and bacon and the significan ordered the Ram breakfast. Everything was delicious! Everything was made fresh, served with a smile, tasted delicious, and filled our hungry stomachs. We enjoyed the food so much, we went back the next day for another hearty and satisfying breakfast. Got the Bacon & Eggs Breakfast. Very good breakfast. What made this breakfast really enjoyable was the salsa. I confirmed with the waitress that the salsa was made in house. Normally, I put Tapatio on my hash browns and use the eggs, bacon and toast to make a mini breakfast sandwich. Today, the red salsa was perfect for the hash browns. The green salsa on the eggs were so good that I did not make my usual mini breakfast sandwich. I ended up just eating the eggs with the green salsa. Service was extremely friendly. Before the end of my meal, the chef asked me if I enjoyed my meal. JDH is located in a small strip mall so parking is limited. I was fortunate enough to find parking around the corner in the residential area. JDH has a small dining area with about six tables. JDH definitely has that warm mom and pop dining feel. read more

Everything was extremely good. Just got off our cruise ship and wanted a local place to eat. Place is small but they treat you like family. Love that. Food was fresh and made real well. Small place, but mighty. I finally stopped by and was pleasantly surprised. The turkey sandwich I ordered was made to perfection. Thick turkey. Small slivers of red onion. Ample lettuce and a fresh tomato slice. The turkey they used was high quality and felt like real turkey meat vs. packaged turkey meat. I like when I can sense the grain of the meat. Delicious sourdough bread, toasted and crunchy. It's easy to eff up a turkey sandwich, but they didn't. The side of onion rings was crispy and golden, just the way I like my onion rings with a side of ranch. Ranch sauce was toothsome. You can get fries instead if you don't want onion rings. Their menu is also kind of small, but mighty. I am guessing their other menu items are just as decent judging by the responses. Service was friendly and personable. Conveniently, we found parking directly in front. That was a bonus. Upon entering, we immediately appreciated the cozy and intimate atmosphere of Joe's Diner. This establishment has been operating under the name Joe's Diner for the past three years. The extensive menu is impressive; the variety of dishes Joe prepares in the kitchen is amazing. There are daily specials and a selection of standard breakfast items. I'm rating service at a 5 when Joe himself came out to greet us upon entering. Throughout our dining expierence Jo we came and checked on us often. There are 5 tables in this cozy diner. Make sure your one of them. We ordered cheeseburgers and fries with a side of fruit. We were in the area and looking for lunch/breakfast. I would love to give Joes 5 stars but when we were there, it was SO hot inside. I was sweltering. That said: Food was definitely 5 stars. Very good. Fast, fresh and great quality. You can tell they love what they do. We all had breakfast and it was great. I had the veggie omelet, everything really fresh and you can't beat it when you food actually comes out the minute it's off the griddle. Am I right? I hate food warmers! I've eaten here a handful of times and every time the food has been excellent and the customer service wonderful. The pancakes are light and fluffy and delicious. The Joe's omelette is chorizo with cheese and avocado and is light and fluffy and one of the best things I've ever put in my mouth. My boyfriend got the pork chops and cleaned his plate in record time. Didn't even offer me a bite. Joe and his wife are wonderful and always make us feel welcome and well taken care of. But what they really have going for them is the food quality. It's not fancy. It's just damn good comfort food.
