My bridal shower was hosted at Think Cafe in their outdoor patio and it was the best venue. They give you a large menu of options to pick 4 different dishes for your event and honestly it was so hard narrowing down the options. The day of the event was very smooth. Our waitress was on top of taking our orders, replenishing drinks, and bringing out our food. I got the shrimp scampi and it was delicious! It came with very large pieces of shrimp and the lemon sauce was flavorful. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you're looking to host an event or just to grab brunch. read more

ame here for brunch with my husband and had a pretty solid experience overall. He ordered the gyro, and I went with the steak omelette. The food was decent--nothing that completely wowed us, but definitely not bad either. It felt a bit on the basic side, but still satisfying. What really stood out was the service. Love think cafe! I've been ordering from them since 2020. They are very accommodating when it comes to allergies. They will make sure to give you options and often I'll choose mashed potatoes, fruity or salad instead of the side they offered. They have lots of menu items from steak, to vegetarian items. I've only visited once. We often have it delivered because it's one place that always make sure that the food arrives hot We had visited the location once and decided on outside seating and it was very, very quiet and comfortable.. clean. Found this hidden gem while waiting to board our cruise ship. The staff was awesome and very friendly, even offering to store our luggage while we ate. The outdoor covered patio was just what we needed after escaping the Arizona heat. My wife loved her patty melt and her fries were crispy and salted just right. Came during my lunch break - I would highly recommend coming after 1PM... before that it is pretty chaotic. The service wasn't bad, but it wasn't great... The vibe of the restaurant is interesting... they attempt a fine dining experience, but it reminds me of any other cafe that you'd find in a business complex. Most people who eat here are 50+ and that was a dead giveaway that the food would be bland and under seasoned. I ordered a bowl of clam chowder, the calamari Caesar salad, a grilled jalapeno, and a diet coke... the tab came out to about $36. The clam chowder was nice, but it was nothing to write home about. The calamari salad was rather disappointing. They used primarily the leafy parts of the romaine, and it lacked crunch. The salad was tossed in a watery dressing and overall it was mushy. I liked the calamari, that was cooked to perfection, but it lacked flavor. I absolutely did not like the fried wontons on it. The food was edible, but for the price, definitely not going to be in my top choices for lunch. I'd rather spend a few dollars more and go to Traini's. Food quality there is much better in comparison. read more

This is an attractive casual restaurant with a great menu. Barbara was our server, her service was friendly, prompt & on point. The meal begins with French bread with a unique & scrumptious dipping sauce. We had their fresh tuna tower. The presentation was attractive and this starter is delicious and generous. My friend had their crisp Caesar Salad which she enjoyed. I had the French Onion Soup. It was good but not exceptional. The menu is varied & interesting. We don't come to San Pedro much except to stop by the Cruise Port, so when there was an opportunity to have brunch nearby the port while my brother and I were transferring cruise ships on our back2back Royal Caribbean cruises, my wife and her neighbor/friend drove out and joined us to make a party of 4. Think Cafe is close by the port, and is open from 9 am to 9 pm everyday. It's a big menu, with food choices from all parts of the day. Our group found the service to be good, and the food to be edible to good. The Think brand has three restaurants in San Pedro, with the middle child Cafe being opened in 1997. It has fairly broad menu, with it longevity meaning menu items have been probably constantly rotated per customer's demands. There is free angled street parking right in front, with spots available even though the inside of the restaurant was fairly busy. We were seated immediately and given water and menus by the busboy. My choice was something I'll almost always order if I see it on the menu: Loco Moco ($15). Unfortunately, this version wasn't great...starting with the rice which tasted like instant and the very plain brown gravy. However, the eggs were excellently prepared as over easy, giving me the yellow yolk run that I like over the "white" rice. And the hamburger patty was good, not too dense or greasy, with a decent amount of heft to make it clear it was real meat. Nobody else at the table complained or overly praised the meal...it was diner food level and met expectations. [Country Chicken and Eggs for $20, and two croque madames ($15 each)]. I did get a chance to take a bite out of the croque, and I really liked the bread (though my brother wished it had been toasted a lot more)...the amount of filling was OK. All came with potato, and everyone ordered hash browns (crispy on the edges), which seemed to be enjoyed. And like my dish, the egg in each dish seemed to be the highlight. Service was friendly and easy natured, with the busyness causing some little delays, that a friendly prompt fixed. With the broadness of the menu, it's easy to understand why some of the items underwhelmed a bit...I'm sure items will keep changing as times (and customer's tastes) keeps evolving. read more

I always like to check on consistency of the taste, amount of food portions and customer service among other things. I placed one of my go to orders via Ubereats- 2 Item Combo (1/2 BLT and a cup of clam chowder) and a small caesar salad with extra dressing- all for $15.00 (excluding taxes)- of course I requested in the comments section for some complimentary (served for dine-in) sourdough bread and extra butter. Immediately after placing the order- I called and talked to Ingrid about my order- basically before I could talk- she said- don't worry- I/we have the bread covered. Remember to order clam chowder whenever you dine-in/deliver- it's very good- along with the complimentary table side bread. Definitely a lunchtime favorite. My favorite part might honestly be the complimentary bread and butter (I wish I were kidding), but the actual food is great too. My go-to is the Mostaccioli, which comes with sausage, peppers, and onions in marinara sauce. It always hits the spot--my mouth is watering just thinking about it. I love the consistency of the food here. Everything is always fresh and never overcooked. The salads are excellent, and the sandwiches are especially good--the bread they use really makes a difference. The atmosphere is consistently pleasant as well. The restaurant has a spacious dining area and an open patio, and it is always clean. I've never had to wait for a table, and for larger groups, reservations can be made in advance. The service staff is generally very good. However, there is one waitress we have had on a couple of occasions who seems to be in a hurry, even when the restaurant is not busy. She places food on the table so abruptly that it almost feels as though it is being tossed down. She is often on her personal phone and has never taken a moment to introduce herself or greet us with a simple, "Hello, I'm your server today." Overall, the food, atmosphere, and cleanliness keep us coming back, but more attentive and welcoming service from all staff members would make the experience even better. read more

Wow! In an area of bars and unhealthy food options, I was stoked to find interesting menu options at Think Cafe. Tucked away in a small office complex that looks more like homes for insurance agents and CPAs, a delicious cuisine awaits. I ordered the veggie tacos which came with corn tortillas and black beans. The veggies included avocado slices, lettuce, broccoli, carrot and zucchini. SO GOOD! The stuffings were overflowing so much that it became more of a veggie/beans mix than a taco. I've lived in the area for years and never been here until the other day. Met up with friends for breakfast. We sat out on the patio. It was nice, but we fought bugs throughout our visit, who decided to fly in the one area that wasn't covered... a nuisance, but that's nature for you. We ordered the French toast and sausage, chicken fried steak and eggs and a kids pancake plate with fries. I tried to pick something healthier, but our server said the chicken fried steak was new to the menu, so I ordered it, since I'm a sucker for this dish. I got the gravy on the side, just in case I didn't like it. It was actually very tasty. I wish they would've given a bigger side of it, as it was tiny and only enough for about half the chicken. I would have asked the server for more, but she rarely came around. In all, we enjoyed our food. The ambiance was nice outside. The weather was perfect and the patio is really cute. We did have to wait quite awhile for the server to come back and check on us, so we could ask for the check. We thought she'd be back to take it, but nope...we had to flag someone else down to take our payment. That definitely prolonged our visit when we were ready to go. I need to try to more on their menu, specifically lunch or dinner. I did order clam chowder to go and boy, it hit in the right spot! Delicious! Nice restaurant with street parking and parking lot on the side that wraps around the building to the back. Although not the restaurant's fault but the parking spots are so tight that mid size cars or larger end up taking up 2 spots. Seating is available inside or on the patio. We sat in the patio. They provided warm bread with a dish of green sauce. One piece of bread was burnt but placed on the bottom. No one explained the green sauce. What was it? When the server came to take our order, we asked about the green sauce, she was basically giving us a list of the ingredients instead of giving us a name of the sauce. We kept guessing and she was say "No, not that." Hmmmm. She never offered to bring butter if we wanted it. Dip, dip, dip into the mystery green sauce. My friend ordered the Cobb Salad. I had the Crab Cake Salad. Crab cakes were good but the salad had big chunks of celery and corn. Sliced red onions, Chopped tomatoes and romaine lettuce. Interesting.
