Such a lovely place! Greeted right away, and super friendly. Truly an Italian/Sicilian experience, where you walk in and immediately feel like you are with friends who want to feed you. Also, just a very clean and calming set up. Lovely decor that celebrates Sicily and Little Italy of Los Angeles but not overdone. And did I mention they want to feed you? Oh my gosh, the food here is SO good. And lots of it. And the prices were very good! While not Italian myself, I have eaten at some of the best in the country, especially back east, and this place beats most of the many I have enjoyed. My family and I have been coming here since they've opened and we love every visit. Rita is an absolute gem. What a sweetheart! She has practically seen my kids grow up and she is always so pleasant and warm towards them. Excellent service and incredible food. On Yelp, it says they close at 9, but when we got there at 8, we were told it's about to close. However, they still accommodated us and let us dine in. It was so kind of them. We order the penne vodka every time we visit. My kids devour it instantly. I always try to get a new dish, especially seasonal specials. I have definitely enjoyed every dish we've tried there. Tonight, I ordered the vegetarian lasagna and I must say it was probably my favorite dish yet. It was so delicious! The cannolis are also a hit! This place is the best. While looking for a gluten free restaurant in San Pedro, La Siciliana came up & it definitely didn't disappoint! Everything we tried was amazing! All of their sauces are GF & 2 of their pastas are also GF. We didn't try the pizza, but it looked delicious on someone else's table. We were there for a late afternoon lunch & it was quiet. The restaurant is very small, so I'd imagine you'd want to have a reservation for dinner. Our server I think was also the owner/chef & she was informative about the specials and GF options. What a delight to have dined at this amazing restaurant. Truly, this is a treasure in San Pedro's Little Italy. I ordered the linguine Alfredo and my goodness was I taken away by the taste of the sauce and cheese on the linguine. My boyfriend ordered the pesto gnocchi and it was amazing. The pesto did not have an overpowering smell and it paired so well with the gnocchi. And the arancini!! The moment of it all. They are so HUGE and delicious! It said thy closed at 9 and we were just planning on ordering one pasta as we wanted to share. This place needs to be a 100 on a 1-5 scale! We were in San Pedro from 7/27-8/4 for the ILCA Youth World Championship in the Laser Radial sail. We ordered Door Dash one evening to eat. I chose La Siciliana for dinner. I had read that they make their own Gluten Free pasta! I enjoyed fettuccine with Vodka Sauce. This was the best pasta I've had in a very long time. Definitely the best since my Celiac diagnosis. I'm trying to find out how to get that dish, maybe even a bulk order of noodles here in Texas. I highly, highly recommend this place. read more

Pizza is HUGE and when she said dough was fermented 2 days it was light, crispy and airy.. if you could see me put my hands to my lips and blow a kiss you will know how great it was. A couple owns the place and the wife waited on us. She was very attentive, asking if it was our first time (yes) and explaining the menu. I spent three weeks doing that and realized that I found the same thing in San Pedro California.
