    Everything In Here Looks Incredibill

Blu Blu is Tried and True!! This place is a Super Solid Mediterranean Brunch spot which serves up some incredibly delicious fresh and satisfying meals for all of your dine-in, takeout, or catering conveniences.    So far I've tried the Beef and Lamb Gyro, the Feta Cheese Fries, and their Greek Yogurt with Rose Petal topping and all I can say is WOW!! This Place makes some seriously amazing food and I'm totally stoked to have them open up this brand new fast casual restaurant right here in East Hanover which undoubtedly captures the true essence and comfort of Greek Cuisine. Come And Get Your Munch On!!

Next time, I'd definitely order to go and enjoy the food in my hotel room. The restaurant seems to really care to the to go crowd. Our meals were all served in plastic take away containers, even though we were clear that we were dining in. The moussaka and spinach and feta hand pie were excellent. The baklava was good but nothing special. The orange honey cake, though - wonderfully different and unexpected. Enjoy the food but skip dining in.

Finally got to try this place. And even though it's the 3rd Mediterranean restaurant to open up within 4 miles in the past 2 years, it was unique and different, and I loved it. I really enjoyed my Chicken Gyro, which came with French fries in the pita. I also ordered a slice of the Spanakopita. It wasn't my favorite spanakopita ever, but it wasn't bad, and I got a huge slice. I also ordered a side of fries because my eyes are bigger than my stomach, and they were delicious as well. The staff was very friendly and kind. The restaurant itself was beautiful and clean. Definitely going back as soon as possible!

    The dessert case!

Blu Blu is a takeout operation with some tables and chairs both inside and outside the restaurant, offering counter service. It's a clean, attractive space for lunch, perhaps less so for a comfortable dinner, given the containers and plastic utensils taking the place of even paper plates and silverware. But if you came for the food, you're in luck. The Greek Salad was authentic and delicious, as advertised. The chicken gyro was moist and well-seasoned, with a good portion on the platter. The rice was fine as a base. Baba ganoush was also tasty and great on the warm, fresh pita. There are many choices for meat-eaters and vegetarians. The components of each dish are high quality. The dessert offerings are strikingly beautiful, from pastries to yogurt with a variety of toppings. Baklava was solid. The Greek Yogurt was outstanding with sour cherry topping. This is an excellent addition to E. Hanover, and we'll be back. Ownership might attract a bigger dinner crowd with the trappings of a sit-down meal---serve on paper plates, even, with some cutlery. They see eager to please, and I have a feeling it will evolve a bit from the original concept to find a market. Go! The imported Greek products attest to the authenticity the owner is pursuing.

The food was ok. Supposedly made fresh but comes out in a to go bowl. $44 for two Greek salads and a side of gyro meat.. not inexpensive.

A Great Spot for Fresh, Flavorful Mediterranean Food!…read more We visited The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill in Florham Park, New Jersey, and had a wonderful meal. The setup is convenient--you order at the counter and then find a table to sit. There was plenty of seating available, the vibe is nice, and the staff are friendly. The food and drinks really impressed us across the board: * Lamb Souvlaki Plate: This was really tasty and came with french fries, a side salad, pita bread, and a delicious tzatziki sauce. * Chicken Gyro: My wife got this and absolutely loved it. * Lamb Souvlaki Gyro: My sister ordered this one and thoroughly enjoyed it as well. * Watermelon Salad: We tried this seasonal favorite, which came with cucumbers and feta cheese. It was incredibly refreshing, and you can tell their salads use high-quality ingredients. * Baklava Ice Cream: For dessert, we tried this and it was absolutely divine. * Mango Lemonade: To drink, we tried the mango lemonade. It was refreshing and tasted like it was made with real, authentic ingredients rather than artificial syrups. Overall, everything was fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. I definitely recommend checking this place out!

I could not view reviews of dishes, so had to step outside to take a peak. Cannot justify paying such prices for dinning in a tiny, dark space in half-basement in the middle of NJ. Just can't. The portions are generous, which is good. But the prices are still outrageous for the location and vibe. It is BYOB for alcohol. We walked in on Sunday at 6pm without reservations and by 7pm, the small space filled up. The $12 hummus was bad. Store bought hummus of the cheapest brand tastes better. Seriously don't understand how a hummus can taste so bland and meh. No seasoning? The pita that came with it was low quality--it gave my friend an allergic reaction right away [he has sensitivity towards poor quality flour products]. $44 paidakia--lamb chops--had 4 chops that were tender and delicate. Pasnip pure was bland and totally a miss--did nothing to complement anything on the plate. Barely any demi lace sauce--definitely on the dry side. Asked for potatoes to be sutstituted for brocollini, but the kitchen did not follow through with that ask, even though our waitress confirmed it was possible. $39 lamb souvlaki was a solid dish. Filling and hearty. Good quality meat skewer. Smoked eggplant puree had a very strong smoke flavor. Lemony potatoes had bright, refreshing lemomy flavor that we appreciated. Service is attentive and quick. Complementary toothbrushes in the bathroom were a nice touch--a star for this little amenity.

If one's a fan of healthy, natural, and delicious Mediterranean food, especially Greek food, one probably knows about this place. Described as a casual dining spot with an upscale vibe and the most delicious food this side of the Aegean Sea, The Address was our choice for lunch today. Located in the heart of a busy South Street, we were greeted by the host as first-timers without a reservation. Instead of being ushered to a table, my partner, his family, and I were asked which of the available tables that we would like. We opted for a table by the bar. The establishment was decorated in bright and inviting colors with olive plants throughout. It is a BYOB and also offers select California wine pairings. Their menu features Greek and Mediterranean cuisine, including entrées like Grilled Lavraki / Mediterranean Fillet Branzino and Grilled Chicken Souvlaki along with classic starters such as Spanakopita and Grilled Mediterranean Octopus. We decided on Grilled Chicken Souvlaki, Grilled Salmon, Fillet Branzino, Cauliflower Steak, and a side of Greek Lemon Potatoes for sharing. The food was truly top-notch, with every dish thoughtfully prepared and full of flavor. One can tell there's real attention to quality and detail in the kitchen. Our meal ended with complimentary Baklava. The staff who worked there were so friendly and attentive. The price was reasonable. This place is exceptionally good for anyone looking to experience a top-tier restaurant.

Despite the moderately upscale ambiance and clean, contemporary aesthetic, the emptiness made us wonder: did we miss a memo? Was there a sudden local embargo on Mediterranean food? Luckily, the dining room eventually filled up, saving us from eating our dinner in a complete echo chamber. My dining companion and I started off with the Hummus appetizer ($11) served with a modest side of toasted pita. It was tasty and definitely hit the spot. We both decided to keep things light and ordered salads with a side of grilled salmon. I went with the Marouli salad ($16) -- crisp romaine lettuce, dill, and scallions with a lemon-olive oil dressing -- and my companion chose the Greek Village salad ($19), a shepherd-style salad with cucumbers, tomatoes, red onions, Holland peppers, feta cheese, olives, and Greek dressing. Both were fresh, well-prepared, and hit the mark. The salmon was also delicious, which is a good thing, because it came with an $18 upcharge that was not listed on the printed menu. For dessert, we ordered the baklava ($13), three pieces of an already intensely sweet treat that had apparently been subjected to an excessive dusting of powdered sugar. As for the service, our server and the food runners were competent but not overly friendly towards us or other diners. I also noticed that the staff tended to take care of tables out of order in which they were seated.. resulting in diners who arrived after us being served before us. Overall, it's a perfectly fine 3-star experience. I'd gladly go back if someone else was picking the spot, but if I'm the one in charge of dinner plans, I'll probably cast my net elsewhere in the area. PRO TIP #1: Bring a bottle of wine or beer from home or stop at the Wine Shop liquor store located on the opposite corner of the intersection of Main Street and Millburn Avenue for some adult beverages to enjoy with your meal. EVOO & Lemon is a BYOB establishment and does not serve alcohol. PRO TIP #2: EVOO & Lemon does not have a private parking lot, but there is plenty of on-street parking and municipal lots nearby. Use the mPay2Park app for the pay-by-plate meters ($0.50 per hour). Meters operate Monday through Saturday from 8am to 7pm; all street meters are free after 7 pm and all day Sunday. If the street is full, the Essex Street parking deck (24 Lackawanna Place) is a reliable backup.

This restaurant looks great. There is a nice counter area to order, a really nice seating area inside and even outdoor seating. Some of the decor makes you feel like you're in a household's kitchen. By the cashier there is a table you can wait at complete with local newspapers. It's very charming. This was my first visit and I ordered my food to go. I had two key dishes. The first was hummus with falafel, which is very standard for me whenever I go to any Mediterranean place. When I opened the take out box at home I was really surprised. Most places give you a good amount of hummus, but here it was basically a thin layer. Kind of like a layer of mayo on a sandwich (maybe a tad thicker). Then on top of the hummus was a huge layer of pickled vegetables and tiny pickles. This was a surprise. I've had hummus orders from a lot of restaurants before and I've *never* seen this on an order before. Then the falafel balls were on top and well...they were really dry and didn't have much flavor. Now, sometimes you can cover that up by just coating the falafel in hummus, but there wasn't enough hummus to do that. The dish was just disappointing all around. The other dish I tried were the Lemon Potatoes. They were good! The lemon flavor was strong and they were cooked well. Not the best example in the area, but they would do in a pinch. At some point I'll give this place another try. Maybe this was a fluke (at least I hope so).
